Mala continued to try and heal her foot, having since calmed down since nobody seemed to notice them as of yet.

Van soon came back munching on an apple with another one in his other hand as he sat back down next to Mala. He held the other apple out to Mala for when she was done healing. Van swallowed what he had in his mouth before talking. "You haven't eaten since before we left home. You should eat something before you collapse, and I know your weak-a** magic isn't going to work any better without some food in your stomach.

((Sure. Ill just get it going. XP ))
Mikhael balled his free hand into a fist, the energy pulsating around it. His other hand was grasping the collar of the swordsman's outfit, and the Foster hand was held ready to strike his head. Though the lower half of his face seemed calm and collected, he was panting.

Likewise, Lin had the mage by his throat, his sword at the ready. He was good at hiding it, but he was just as exhausted as the mage looked.
"All right, you two!" Rom shouted. "Break it up!"

Mala finished up what she could soon after that. She offered a friendly smile to Van as she said, "Thanks for the apple. You guessed right, I've been starving." After this, she took a bite of her apple, feeling thankful for the chance to eat during their escape.

"I just thought of something." Van said taking another bite before continuing. "You're thinking of finding another priest to get me out of here, right? But it was the other gods that locked me up to begin with. Why would another priest go against his god's will and help set me free again?" he said slightly glum.

"You'll be surprised. Most are greedy bastards and snooty bitches who don't believe in a damn thing about their god. Very few are loyal when there is coin to be had." Mala reasoned simply enough. "I'm a rare breed amongst a sea of swindlers...nevermind. I'm probably going to be forsaken by now with all that I've done today."

"Technically I was the one doing all the crime. And technically we were both idiots in our attempt to take down a demon. Which was for a good cause." Van pointed out. "And if Atius does decide to forsake you, once this is all over, I'll be sure to have words with that fat b*****d."
((I don't know why. I just keep picturing Atius as a fat and balding middle aged man. xd ))

{Somehow, that seems like a fitting image. XD}
Mala's grin only grew wider. She took another bite out of her apple and finished the bite before she would speak once more. "Thanks. I appreciate it."

Van just shrugged. "I gotta do somethin' to pay you back don't I? It may not be an offering or something, but you are helpin' me out." he said with that same expression of trying to remain cool despite the sentiments.
