Mordranna gave Rekan a mild laugh. "I should rephrase that. Granted the situation is urgent. But, patience, calm and discretion are what is needed," As they walked to the hangar, she added, "I too have some misgivings about our new 'friend'. But still, it seems he's on the level." She then turned to Rekan. "While I don't claim to be an expert on Echani culture, it seems it revolves around battle and warfare. Thus is his way of thinking."
(( I guess that's about right? ))

(( I forgot what I was waiting for. ))
Angel woke up after a good sleep that she hadn't managed to get for a while now. She saw Trey was already up, and after a moment of getting fully woken up, got out of bed and gave him a quick hug and kiss, letting him have one last quick moment of having her in all her glory before she got dressed. After looking out and seeing stars fly by rather quickly, she assumed they were in hyper for Ithor. " So, any idea what the old geezer's planned for us today? " she asked.

((yeah, it's right.. and you're playing the part of the master pretty well...))
Rekan grew slightly frustrated and only walked more quickly as a result. He was at the hangar before he realized it, so he stopped and sat down. He sighed, letting all of his recently surfacing frustration, impatience, and anger depart from his being in gentle waves. Once at peace he began to meditate.

Tal turned, smiling at the supposed innocence the Jedi professed. That Ishi Tib had quite the tongue on him. Telling Dex to prep the ship he walked to the cockpit, settling into the chair and beginning to relax, expecting to be there for a great deal. Upon hearing completion of the preflight check, he primed his engines, letting his weapons and shields fully charge before slamming the throttle forward and shooting upward away from the weakness of gravity. He tapped the autopilot for the Jump Point and activated his comm, readying a message "Dearest Mordrana, it would behoove you to teach your padawan some verbal restraint, for should he drop another barb at me or my people I will not be inclined to help him in the least should the need arise. I do not like being insulted..." and he added in the jump coordinates to the transmission, and activated his own hyperdrive entering the cobalt corridor and heading toward destiny...

"Well, it does appear that our ride is here," Mordranna cheerfully chirped. Listening in on a private comm to her from Tal, she resisted the temptation to laugh, even as she gave a cheery smile, even a slight smirk. "Duly noted." she replied, in the most neutral tone that she could manage. She then turned to Rekan. "It seems our new friend tends to fancy us more as warriors. Of course, there is far more to a Jedi than that. We are protectors." Changing the subject, she then added, "Granted, the culture shock can take one for a loop. His culture is of a war-like nature, and thus given to combat. One mustn't arbitrarily dismiss one due to misunderstandings of one's ways. They are martial artists. However, this propensity towards battle and warcraft shouldn't be taken as being mindlessly barbaric." "Even if we do not agree to all points, one should learn to respect one's differences,"

Rekan stood slowly, breaking out of his meditation. "I am aware of that, master. My anger was directed towards other things, but it manifested itself towards the undeserving. I'm sorry for losing my patience earlier."

Mordranna simply regarded young Rekan sagely. "Apology accepted, of course. You're now showing the wisdom that befits a Jedi. Always remember to be mindful of your emotions. I trust that I need not remind you that anger is of the dark side?" she queried.
(( I guess we can fast forward us to being on the ship, and on the way. Any details of the ship there, ND? 3nodding Paul: where is this joint, anyway? That'd probably help! xd ))

Drakes leg buckled slightly. The floor creeked and gave way. Letting go of the beam he fell. Looking around he saw he was in the main hanger. He flipped down and landed crushing the ground. Rebounding and leaping up the wall and to the hole that was made Drake pulled himself up and stood up.
" ........Setting and carring out a trap..... you will move on..... Master will be told of your good work....... For now we go to master and report in........"
Drake headed to the lift.

" More like boulders with our luck, but we don't have much choice. We either endure, or everything we've done so far is wasted. But believe me, nothing would bring me more satidfaction as of now than to beat that old geezer at everything he does with us, just to get him to shut up about us knowing nothing and all that. " Angel said. " I'm trying to anticipate what might be coming, so I can figure out the point of all this seemingly aimless crap we've been doing. "

"No, you need not," he answered.
Soon they were in transit. The ship was small and old, but its shields and hull were strong, and its modest weapons packed sufficient firepower for defense and boarding actions.

"Your friends are quite generous to loan us this ship," Mordranna cheerily commented. "Whatever happens, we must take care and try to bring it back to them in the same condition they gave it to us in," With that, she gingerly punched in the coordinates to their destination. "And, there we go," she announced as the stars became elongated blue streaks.

He nodded. "Of course. Though these people are used to my tendencies to return them in rather...less than nominal conditions." He sat down. "I used to work with them, before I became a Jedi."

Rekan made the equivalent of an Ishi Tib smile and nodded. "Full output, at half power. This thing's made to take a beating. Unfortunately we don't have enough crew members to man the guns effectively..."
