Singsaith Alright fine. I don't want Takeru because I don't like that Eoleo is already in there... and Crown.
I like the idea of descendants because it brings a certain nostalgia. But if there's characters that had minor insignificant roles that Camelot's like, "OH! What about THEM?!"... like... I dunno. I like Thinking they're all the descendants.
Plus. I hated Briggs, and I have a feeling Eoleo's gonna be just like him.

Fiery Tiamat VenusRain Singsaith She was already engaged to Susa, which makes me believe they're actually older. Given the time period it's set in, it's not inconceiveable for them to have a kid at 16-ish (although I think that they're closer to 18 or so, but whatever). Like I said: It's not inconceiveable that they would have a kid at that age. And what's this about Crown being confirmed as a descendent or am I just horribly misinterpreting things again. neutral

You're just misinterpreting. smile The only reason I didn't mention either Crown or Karis in my above post is because it's not confirmed that they AREN'T descendants, whereas Eoleo definetly isn't and Takeru wouldn't be if he ends up in the game. The only ones who are confirmed as descendants are Matthew and Tyrell.

Partially I think the reasoning for this is if they were to be confirmed descendants, then there'd be shipping dilemmas and people yelling in outrages. The fact that only Matthew and Tyrell are the only confirmed makes sense to me, but now seeing Eoleo and possibly Takeru... we're seeing at least four confirmed (kinda, sorta, kay maybe not really) descendants. Plus, Camelot said that this would be the descendants of the protagonists of the first two games, did they not? I swore they did.
I mean, I won't be not open about it. I'm hoping to God Matthew is the son of Isaac and Mia.

Hehe. About Takeru, sorry. I can't keep up with this thread at times. I should read more enough.
But, actually, I want to stop reading news and speculations. I just want to be surprised. I was annoyed when I found out that Isaac and Garet will be joining for a bit at some point. I wanted to be like "OMFG! I know these people!" when they come into the story. Now, I know. >.<

And back to the age thing... they say that 30 years has gone by since the Golden Sun had risen. Therefore making Isaac around 31 when he had Matthew. Crap. Anyone's guess.

It's probably a not a good thing that I would love Camelot forever if that turned out to be the canon explaination. xD And a seperate spoileriffic thread sounds like a good idea to me; spoilers don't matter so much in games like, say, Pokemon, but in story-heavy RPGs they carry a lot more disappointment with finding them.
