"Ah well I got let out of jail....still have some eyes on me though...Guess we can start the dragon blast....though I haven't used it in so long." She said. Kai waited for his reply before showing him the techinque.

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | "How would anybody know any technique?" Shinji responded with a bit of sarcasm, as the answered seemed incredibly obvious to him... "I went to the library and studied the available Chuunin and Genin scrolls there and borrowed the ones I thought would be most useful for the upcoming exams. ." The entire situation seemed perfectly logical and within reason to him, but I guess Kai didn't see it that way. Either way however, it seemed that she would be willing to train him.
"Well, if it's all the same to you, I would actually prefer to start with the Ishi no Yari (Stone Spear) technique if that's alright. sure, I'll be learning both, but that was the one I've been most interested in learning." Shinji then waited patiently for a response, hoping she would give in to his wishes. In all honestly, he had the chance to learn this himself earlier, but before he wa able to get Kai to show it to him, she was drummed out of the training fields by the ANBU.

{{I had my character do research a long time ago and select the scrolls from the library, so it's perfectly legitimate that he would know of the techniques, but simply not be able to learn them himself. As for selecting specific ones, why shouldn't I? why would I allow someone else to dictate what jutsu my character does and does not learn? there are certain jutsu I want, for potential combo reasons, so why would I settle for anything except what I want?}}

Kai had a emotionless face at the kid but sighed. "Fine." She did the hand signs. The ground rised a bit and got thinner and shaped it's self into a spear shape. She used chakra and took out of the ground. Kai twirled it in a circled infront of her then threw it at a tree west of them as it went right through form both the hardness of the earth and the tree was the most used on tree for training.
Doton: Ishi no Yari (Earth Release: Stone Spear)
Description: By using chakra to basically control the earth below and around them, the user turns it into sharp spears. This jutsu can be used both offensively and defensively. The user can either create a spear to block an opponent's movement, or they can hurl the spear at their opponent using chakra. The drawback here is, unless chakra is used, the spears cannot be pulled out of the ground manually; they are always set in place.

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Shinji could tell that he would have to do most of the work himself if he was going to learn this technique. All she had done was shown him the hand seals, and then allowed him to see what the jutsu did when completed, though it seemed a bit weaker then what he had read about in the scroll. according to the description, multiple spears could be made, which made Shinji assume that he would be able to do far better then that. All of this aside however, having seen the jutsu and memorized the techniques, Shinji felt confident in his ability to learn this properly and was excited that he was getting a chance to learn some last minute jutsu before the Exams.

Trying to remember the hand seals she had done, as she had not exactly done them in an easy way to record, it took Shinji a few practice runs before he was able to get the sequence down. From what he had read, the secret to this jutsu was using your chakra to harden the earth into spears and then, focus, causing them all to rise out of the ground towards a target, or in front of a target. having mapped it all out in his head, Shinji took a deep breath and closed his eyes, weaving the hand seals in sequence as he began to gather his chakra to him, feeling it mold together inside him before channeling down through his legs and into the earth as he finished and held the last seal.

Directing his chakra flow, Shinji felt that he was able to harden several areas underneath the earth to turn into spear-like projections, but when attempting to push them up out of the ground, no matter how hard he strained, he couldn't quite get it to work. Releasing the final seal after trying to 'push' the technique with all his will, Shinji resigned to the fact that he clearly had not done the technique right, or molded the chakra in the way he would need and abandoned the jutsu, releasing the earth back to it's former state as he prepared to try it again.

[[oh it's like face palming my self for me being stupid ><]] Tell me how am I suppose to breath with no air?
"Oh ya.....the spear requirs chakra to take out of the ground and you kinda rise the spear out like a earth clone? Multiple spears can be made but that means more chakra." She said, rubbing her head. She just did one to show him what it looked like but hated to waste chakra for that when she had to train about three other genin's, why waste it on a justu?

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Nodding to Kai's comments which would help him in visualizing the next attempt, Shinji couldn't argue with the sound logic of forming one spear over the others if it was done to conserve chakra. Unwilling to be defeated by the jutsu, Shinji closed his eyes once more as he gathered his chakra to him, focusing inward as he felt his chakras merge. Focusing on his energy in this way always made his chakra flare up and attack him, but Shinji met the anticipated pain head one and drove through it. Opening his eyes as he performed the proper hand seals, feeling them form and mold his chakra into the technique as he carefully control all of the forces which were flowing together.

This part was always difficult for him due to the abnormally large mount of chakra which seemed to naturally flow into his techniques. This, of course, made them harder to learn, but it was this same chakra overflow which often empowered his techniques, giving him nothing to complain about in the end. As he finished and held the final seal, he looked forward with stern determination as he recited the jutsu's name, allowing the molded chakra to flow through his body into the ground as he immediately felt the earth begin to shake slightly. [Training: Ishi no Yari (5/6)
"Doton: Ishi no Yari!" Feeling his jutsu take effect, he felt a much greater effect then he had before and was confident that his control this time was much better. As the earth condensed and reformed itself beneath the surface of the earth, the ground itself trembled until Shinji suddenly pushed a large amount of chkra into the ground to complete the technique. On this, the earth suddenly trembled and shook even more violently, until suddenly, as if having been attached to a spring mechanism, a vast array of spear-shaped hardened earth protrusions erupted from the ground. To his surprise, he had even managed to surpass what he had thought possible as he walked over to the area, examining a radius of about 5 feet all around, which was filled with deadly sharp earth spikes which had erupted from the ground in multiple directions and lengths.

Looking at the mass he had created, Shinji could only smile at how strong the jutsu seemed to have been in his hands as he fingered one of the spikes, releasing how sharp it was once he saw a small drop of blood form on the tip of the spear. As if to punish the spear, but really to show he had mastered the technique, Shinji pushed even more chakra into the stone spear as he managed to dislodge the spear with a clean jerk and toss it at the same tree which Kai had struck. Not surprisingly, the spear itself had easily pierced even the hardened bark, but had taken a solid inch of the wood on either side of the thrown spear with it as well, leaving a rather wide and gaping hole in the tree's side. "Sweet. I guess that's one down. Thanks Kai... how about that 'Doryuudan no Jutsu' next?" he said with a wide msile, beaming at the level of success he had had with the previous jutsu.

Kai nodded. "Ok ok, next is more powerful and can cause serious damage for mud." She did the hand signs slowely for him this time so he could see them. Some earth rose into a giant face of a dragon bigger than her. It opened it's mouth and shot out four huge mud balls at that tree we all know and love. The tree was hit once and you could hear a cracking noise. The second hit the tree and it cracked more, third it splatted on the tree top green. No more green there. The fourth tipped the tree back enough to say if it kept getting hit it was going down.

Doton: Doryuudan no Jutsu (Earth Release: Earth Dragon Blast) Description: In this jutsu, a large mudstone structure appears from the ground in the shape of a dragon’s face. The dragon then shoots many earthmud “cannon balls” which hit the enemy with great speed.

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Moving on the the next jutsu, Shinji was excited to learn it, remembering the effect of the jutsu as it had stuck out in his mind. Dragons had always been fascinating creatures of legend to him and he particularly enjoyed reading about jutsu which took on the shapes of the mythical beasts. watching close so as to pick up the somewhat more complicated hand seals, Shinji watched as the jutsu was completed, a large mud dragon's head rising up out of the ground as it shot the mud balls from it's mouth, doing some solid damage to the tree. Seeing it all this time around would really help as he had remembered reading it, but not being able to understand the complexity of the chakra control descriptions. having seen it now however, he was confident that he had an idea of what was needed and that he could figure it out.
[Training: Doryuudan no Jutsu (1/6)
"Alright!... if that's the usual strength, I can't wait to see what I'm capable of!" Knowing that his own special qualities afforded him an impressive ability to heighten the effects of jutsu beyond their level, Shinji could only imagine what his dragon's head could do and was confident that this might become one of his favorite jutsu. Rehearsing the hand seals slowly in front of him a few times, Shinjio was beginning to feel more comfortable in general with his training and was starting to understand things faster. After only a few tries, he felt that he was ready to go as he performed the hand seals as he gathered his chakra to him, feel the forces of power and control mix inside him.
[Training: Doryuudan no Jutsu (2/6)
"Doton: Doryuudan no Jutsu!" The ground began to shake around him slightly as a large mud structure began to rise up out of the ground nearby, where Kai's had done so, but after only a few short seconds, the mud's shape lost it's cohesion and melted away into nothing but a puddle of muck. Watching the jutsu fade, Shinji was disappointed at first, but then realized that the reason he had failed at performing that jutsu had probably had something to do with his eagerness to learn it. He had rushed much faster into this, and just equally as quickly had failed to accomplish it. He would have to be much more tempered in his next attempt and be careful to mold and control the jutsu more carefully.

Tatsuo instead of leaving, he stayed to see who and what this person he never met can do. From the looks of it, he seems to be a pretty strong comrade. He then remembered what his parents said to him about the gentle fist as he some timed mimicked his father's moves. Looking around to find a huge area, he moved a bit to the right as their was no one really around. He then second guess himself and thought that a little bit of research would not hurt. With that, he left the training ground in search for the library

Aihi's Ear twitched as she heard him say Hyuuga style Taijutsu Training. She was bothered that this genin would surpass her. She kept her eyes on Hayate.. "Ok Hayate lets get you up to speed. Dont be afraid to sock me one good." she said with a smile. "I'm gonna antagonize you as well so hopefully my insults wont hurt you too bad. remember i know nothing about you so everything i say is made up." Aihi takes her stance ready for Hayate to make his move. Aihi Stance

| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Genin | Knowing what he had to do, and that his focus must be on forming the jutsu rather then the excitement of creating it, Shinji took the time to close his eyes, inhaling deeply before exhaling slowly after. "Alright, focus Shinji, just one more jutsu, and you'll be ready for the exams" Focused once more at the task at hand, Shinji visualized the jutsu in his mind, moving through the hand seals carefully as he ran a mock trial through the jutsu, planning everything out as he would perform it, but placing no chakra into the technique. This method always helped to prepare him for anything, and seemed to work best as it involved visualizing an active jutsu.
[Training: Doryuudan no Jutsu (4/6)
Confident that he would be able to perform the technique on his next try, Shinji opened his eyes and focused, gathering his chakra up inside him as he formed the necessary hand seals. Feeling the forces at work within him, Shinji was careful this time to guide and direct the chakra flows into their proper orientations and visualized the effect of the jutsu as it began to take shape. having finished the hand seals, Shinji clasped his hands together loudly in the final seal as he stared forward with a fierce intensity, already feeling the overwhelming power which flowed through him place more chakra into the technique then would normally be used for a jutsu of this level.
[Training: Doryuudan no Jutsu (5/6)
"Doton: Doryuudan no Jutsu!" the ground around Shinji began to tremor softly then shake violently as a Dragon's head made of mud seemed to emerge out of the ground, it's mouth opened menacingly. The dragon's head was about twice the size of Kai's standing about 10 ft tall, it's mouth opened wide to reveal a bright glowing ball of white chakra at the back of the dragon's throat. With a burst of chakra from Shinji's hands through his body to the ground, the bright light suddenly intensified as huge, basketball shaped globs of mud flew out of the dragon's mouth like missiles. the speed of the mud missiles was well beyond what Shinji would have expected, closing the distance between the dragon's head and the tree which was Shinji's target in a mere second. The number of shots fired was also greater, the intensity of the attack at least doubling from what it was shown to be capable of when he was shown it by his teacher.
[Training: Doryuudan no Jutsu (6/6)
As soon as the first mud ball collided with the tree, it ripped a branch clear off, the movement of the mud ball barely even slowed as it dragged the branch with it another 50 ft or so before it fell to the ground. Likewise, the other shots of mud, at least the ones which hit, struck the tree with incredible force, tearing off large fragments of the tree as if it were made of paper, until eventually, nothing was left of the structure. After the 10th and final shot from the dragon's mouth, the light finally dimmed and the Dragon's head sunk back into the ground, leaving Shinji beaming with pride at the technique.
At the end of the technique however, Shinji suddenly felt a great stress run through his body as his chakra was beginning to lash out at him through his tiredness after his training. The pain flowing through him, Shinji was frozen in place for a few seconds before he forced himself through the pain, eventually gaining control once more as he let out a deep sigh, finally feeling like he could breathe again. "Alright, thanks for the help Kai!... I appreciate it!" With that, Shinji ran off to the Tsuchikage's Office. Seeing that Riko had not yet caught up with him, he ran off to see how she was doing and give the tour he had promised her, looking forward to the small relief he would receive from his pain in even jsut being near her.

Hayate Nadare" Hayate Of The Paper Planes" [Summoning Specialist] [Origami No Dara] [Genin] [Iwagakure]
 Hayate nodded before forming a few quick hand seals, a plan already formulating in his mind "Doton: Tsuchi Gunjikoudou no Jutsu" once he spoke the incantation Hayate buried himself underground, although he hadn't rose above surface right away. While underground Hayate formed another set of handseals, this time much more simplistic then before "Bunshin no Jutsu" once he was finished the clone took his place exiting the ground while Hayate stayed put underground in hopes of appearing later for a surprise attack. Once the clone rose it went for a punch at the back of Aihi's head.

Aihi could hear the clone coming as she took the punch to the back of the head and stumbled forward a bit turning the stumble into a forward somersault she roller and quick turned facing the clone which she thought was Hayate. "Is thats the best you got?! I might as well take a nap." she said laying on the ground relaxing. "I've been hit with pillows at sleepovers with more force than that." she said sticking out her tongue.

Cadence had noticed a few Shinobi in the surrounding area and one boy had just used a pretty good technique. Though, he'd never be one to get fooled by something like that. He then walked over to a rock that was nearby the two fighting Shinobi and sat down. He conjured a small ball of flames into his and it encircle around his palm.
