Cal shrugged. "Depends on whose years you go by." He held out his arms. "I'll carry her." He liked kids. He found her adored Summer's baby. He pushed Summer from his thoughts quickly. He could not think of her and Alicia at the same time. Or Summer ever again for that matter. He was starting to think she was dead. Gone to her 'family'.
"Allegra your very long." He commented as he looked at her long limbs.

Alicia looked at him. "By my standards, Cal. You would make me a cougar."
Allegra giggled. "Mommy says I take after daddy."
"You definitely have his temper."

"You have his nose." Cal lightly poked her nose. "That's all I see of him in you. His mouth as well. More what comes out of it I mean. Your mouth is delicate like you Mom's. Be happy you don't look like your Dad." He smirked and shook his head.
"You make some of the same faces he does."

Allegra giggled when he poked her nose. She poked his nose in return.
"I agree with the fact that you said she has his mouth like the stuff that comes out of it. I think sometimes if I didn't catch her she would say a lot of things like Andros and she would be in some trouble at school." She laughed. "Yeah she has his faces down perfectly."

"Ah. What Andros often says hurts, but I learned that it is often the truth. It just seems most people do not like the truth. I believe a very smart woman once told me the truth hurts and that is why often we can not always handle it. Or accept it. The reason it hurts so bad." Cal was quoting Summer who acted as his adoptive Mother, teacher, friend and on occasion prison guard.
Cal smiled at Allegra. "Seems you and Orion both inherited a lot of Andros' traits. Not bad nor good either way. His brutish ways are sometimes exactly what is needed. What do you want to be when you grow up Allegra?"

Alicia opened the door. "Unfortunately... I think that she was only half right. There are ways to tell the truth in ways that it won't hurt as much. I see no point in hurting others. What good does it do really?"
Allegra looked at Cal she had no idea what she wanted to do. "I don't know. Maybe a dancer like mommy wanted to be when she was little. I go to dance class every monday, wednesday, and friday."

"I believe need to know the truth. Regardless of how painful it may be, because it's better they hear the truth from someone they know and know cares about them rather then a stranger. Plus lying serves no one any good. So why lie and tell half truths? I won't sugar coat things either. If I think the shirt your wearing is ugly I will in fact tell you that shirt is ugly. You really should not wear it again. Now if it's a hair cut I will tell you. I don't like this one. The one you had before is the one I prefer. I am being honest and to the point. I see no reason to go oh that hair style is cute! When really I think it's unflattering or not as nice as the style you had previously. Should I lie and say it's great! It's amazing! Beautiful? No because if it's really that bad someone will tell you. I won't go that is a cute style, just not on you though." Cal shrugged.

Alicia shrugged. "Whatever you say. I just think there is a better way. No need to hurt someone. I think if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all." She sat down at a nice table in front of a window. A waitress came and handed them the menus.
"So what do you think you would like to eat?"

"Chocolate brulee." Cal easily replied. Then he started to survey the drink choices.
"They don't have milkshakes..." He said and frowned.
"Or is that considered a dessert and not a drink? It does have ice cream. I understand that is a dessert."

Alicia shrugged. "I think they do, they have just about everything here. But isn't that too much sweet Cal? Chocolate brulee is typically a dessert not a meal. You may rot out your teeth with so much sweet." She looked at Allegra who smirked.
"Can I have dessert for dinner too?"
"No. Absolutely not. Dinner than you can have a dessert afterwards but not as a meal."
"Kay then I want spagetti with milk."

"Okay...can I have fish sticks?" He looked at Alicia. "I find them to be quite tasty." He set the menu down. He looked around the restaurant.

She smiled and nodded. "Sure you can and later you can have the chocolate brulee for dessert and a milkshake to drink. Do you know what type of milkshake you want?"

Alicia smiled. "Allegra likes milk plus it helps her bones become stronger. So it all good. She drinks chocolate milk and strawberry milk when she feels like it. Today I guess she is feeling like plain milk."
Allegra nodded and giggled. "You're silly Cal. I will probably drink chocolate tomorrow and strawberry the day after tomorrow."

"I don't like plain milk. Only in my cereal." Cal explained to Allegra. "I have had soymilk. It's okay. An acquired taste I believe." He looked over at Aliicia.
"So what exactly do you do at work? I understand it is a club. So you arrange for artists to come and perform, and order the things the bartenders' need?"
