For the case of allowed equipments, would usage of older version of that weapon class or tpye be permitted? Taken the combat knife for example, the Kbar and other ones you've mentioned. As already stated before, an older version knife is just as effective as gutting your enemy unless the enemy is wearing certain type of body armor (then the use of more advance knife is required). If it serves the same purpose, old fashion equipment shouldnt be restricted from the list.

In Lyendi's case. Yes, i think we all know what she's capable of. Thats a problem, aye? But as Aileen has stated before, there will be a seperate IC profile for 'The Watch' project. So chance is you could have two version, your living-weapon Lyendi in the TORAMA and a Toned-down Lyendi for 'The Watch'. Hey, you never know, it may serve to your advantage.

I for one may enjoy that. Exploring all sorts of limitations. But i'd like to suggest maybe 1 character special ability transferable from GNG main IC Profile to 'The Watch' IC Profile. Already, we have the equipments to deal with almost everything. From magic, super saiyan, were-creatures and the things i'd rather not mention because it gives my the chills down my spine crying

I have no idea what The Watch will be like and really i dont know what im talking about? sweatdrop

Oh... i got me a copy of Battlestation Midway. Its beautiful crying Being able to take control of a PT Boat armed with three .50cal machine guns and 4 torp launchers, if your lucky to get close enough, you could sink freaking Cruisers to the reefs. Or take control of a Yamato battleship and sink several Destroyers and Cruisers. When the enemy gets too tough, send out the Aircrafts from your Carriers. Protect your Dive bombers and Torp planes carrying lethal payloads with fighters. Enemy's got battleships too? Grab a submarine and launch the torps! All hands, general quarters! Tired of taking control of each war machine? Switch to Tatical map and play a nice game of Command & Conquer WWII style. Oh i think im in heaven with Battlestation Midway. Been waiting for this kind of gameplay. I hope they make something like Battlestation Midway in Futuristic enviroment, like space.

"So chance is you could have two version"

That is a negative. Two versions in the same timeline? The only thing I can see working here is implement the modifications to Lyendi of her bio-technology degradation over the last 3 years thus not at 100% capable of what she could do before.

to degrade bio ware in a target you would literaly have to reprogram the bio ware in her. and considering bio ware is part of the body that would mean you would iether have to kill her or inject bio ware into her to counteract her bio ware. talk2hand no iether way to lower her abilitys you would prety much have to kill her. now you might be able to supress the abilitys granted by the bio ware but then she would ietehjr have to be put into acoma or a suit of heavy bio supressent equipment to basicly turn her bio ware off. she mosty likely would not be able to help incombat from the weight.

I meant degradation as in wear and tear, not degrading.

goldbrease is still working on his bio.

I don't think Lyendi needs to be toned down for The Watch . This is what I meant while explaining ranks. Sergeants already have access to Power Armor, and Lyendi is a lieutenant-level character.

Honestly, we could go with the Ka-Bar if everyone wants it. I just fell in love with the simple Wave design...makes tactical folders even more awesome 3nodding But yes, just like in RL, enforcement personnel can buy their own knives should they choose.

Here's the personal arms section of The Watch's equipment. The belt is designed to have contingencies for common foes patrolmen and women may face. It is also designed not to be twinked out.

Ai Leen
Safariland Mantis Level IIIA Gold - Rank: Private - 'Concealable' (you can wear it under your uniform but it'll still be obvious to anyone who is looking for it), comfortable bullet-resistant body armor, capable of stopping high powered 9mm and .44 mag as well as stun guns and blunt weapons such as baseball bats. Custom fit. This armor does not protect against sharp weapons.

Utility Belt - Rank: Private - A leathery-looking belt made out of a rugged synthetic material that resists scrapes, and can "heal" itself from shallow cuts. The top edge of this belt forms a tube filled with salt, forming a weak inverted magic circle to ward off magic. Its buckle has a detachable silver plate. The belt contains the following items:

  • Athame - a black handled kris dagger for the purpose of cutting into magic.

  • Emerson Commander - A tactical folding knife with a notch cut into it's backside perfect for hooking on a pocket or the sheath to unfold the blade with one hand as it is drawn.

  • Concentrated Garlic Spray in Wooden Stake Holster - For Vampires.

  • Compact smoke and stun 'flashbang' grenades - 3 each, smoke on the left side, stun on the right

  • Stick-Cam - a miniature black and white video camera attached to a ball of putty-like adhesive (golf ball sized). It sends video to GPD and GNG frequencies at short range (50 feet or less). The Stick-Cam is contained within a disposable plastic cylinder to the side of the buckle.

  • Glock G23C loaded with plastic bullets (x13) - Current gen less than lethal ammo. A bright red G22 clip rests opposite the gun on the belt, which is loaded with live ammunition: the .40 S&W (x15). A silver-colored G23 clip mounted behind the red clip contains 13 compatible bullets made of silver.

  • 5 D-Cell Maglite - Rugged, dependable, and heavy flashlight capable of being used as a club. It is clipped opposite the Glock, next to the live ammo clip.

Remington Model 11-87 Police - Rank: Private, Optional - Low recoil, high durability, non-reflective...but overall, it's a shotgun. Choose which sight you'd like depending on your patrol area. Choose from an assortment of ammo (Including Falis-blessed holy water slugs), though it comes with 'beanbag' slugs.

Corner Shot GPD - Rank: Private, Optional - Allows for firing around corners using almost any automatic handgun (Including the Glock G23C) while in complete cover, utilizing a full color monitor and camera system. The GPD edition also features the ability to sync with the standard issue Stick-Cam feed.

Corner Shot 40 GNG - Rank: Corporal, Optional - as above, but fitted with a 40mm grenade launcher instead of the handgun.

EDIT: There will also be an optional multi optics helmet for privates and above
