thats why 5 squads of guardsmen now can combine... and full-sized squad of terminators can be split into combat squads and my regular ork opponents balances 500+pts nobz mob with cheap gretchin - always!

So anything challenging is unfair now? Jeebus I better call everyone around my area unfair from now on... sad
If I play against lets say a guard player who use 50 sized units, then I go for my big blast weapons and big burny stuff, and last time I met such an army using in fact 2 units of them, they got fwoooshed by burnas who hid in a trukk with a KFF Big Mek! Leaving 19 guards left who ran away, sending bikernobz at the other.
A friend of mine here countered the same list with several whirlwinds, flamers and missile launchers with his marine force.
Chaos lashed the big units and went BOOM with defilers and vindicators and finally assaulted with a nurgle daemonprince.
And I assure you that 10 termies are pretty much harder to take out than 50 guardsmen in one unit...
Oversee the problem and deal with it, this game is not unfair, it's challenging mate. wink

Currently I've been building/collecting for about 2 and a half years, in that time I've played probably 5 games, so I'm not exactly a great tactician yet.
Anywho so I put together this list quickly and I was hoping for some [a lot] of help one it.
Company Command - 110 Pts Power Sword Medic Carapace
Ratling Squad [7] - 70 Pts
Platoon Command - 40 Pts Powersword
Infantry A - 50 Pts Infantry B - 50 Pts
Platoon Command - 42 Pts Power Sword Bolt Pistol
Infantry C,D,E - 50 Pts Each [150 Total]
Vet Squad - 155 Pts 2x Flamers 1x Heavy Flamer Chimera Transport
Autocannon Squad - 75 Pts
Heavy Bolter Squad - 75 Pts
Leman Russ - 165 Pts Lascannon
Total:982 Pts
Basically the guy I normally play against is Eldar, and every match we play he runs his Pathfinder/Ranger things into a forest cover and I can never kill them and they continuously pound my guys with sniper fire.
Hence I'm planning on taking the vet squad up there, dropping them outside of the forest, torching everyone, going into forest and securing that section of the board.
He tends to play a lot of Phoenix Lords, which will be the target for the ratling snipers as well.
Anyways, I hope this all looks okay, its my first time trying to submit a list, thanks!

How do you mean, 'a lot' of Phoenix Lords? They're regular HQ (and very expensive at that), he should only have two -max-.
I'd consider a Colossus instead of a Russ, because those cover-denying shells would tear his Pathfinders apart.

I was thinking the same thing. You can pump a lot of weapons into Imperial Guard armies, for a pretty inexpensive cost. Having that meltagun in there makes the squad that much more effective.

So I picked up a bunch of pre-owned Grey Knights from a couple of different sources. What I have for model count is: 8 Termies (one with TH + SS) 24 Grey Knights with NFW + SB 5 Grey Knights with Incinerators
I figure I can but they Assault on Black Reach Dread off of someone for fairly cheap and convert that for my Dread. This is the first list I've come up with based on what I'd bought, and what I'd going to add next.
GK Grand Master Nemesis Force Weapon, Stormbolter, Termie Armor -Retinue - 7 Termies 6 NFW + Stormbolter, 1 Thunderhammer + Storm Shield
6 Power Armored GK's Justicar, Incinerator
6 Power Armored GK's Justicar, Incinerator
6 Power Armored GK's Justicar, Incinerator
6 Power Armored GK's Justicar, Incinerator
5 Power Armored GK's Justicar, Incinerator
GK Dreadnought TL Autocannon, DCCW, Stormbolter Smoke Launchers, Extra Armor, Blessed
Total: 1500 points exactly.
What do you think? I realize that there's only two ways to deal with AV14 in the entire list and both are assault based. Should I split the Termies so I have the Grandmaster + small Retinue and a second set of Termies? What suggestions to you have for adding to the list?

Hive Fleet Wendigo HQ: Tyrant: Enhanced Senses, Adrenal WS, Flesh Hooks, Scything Talons, TL Deathspitters, Winged, Warp Field
Elites: Warriors: 2 with: extended carapace, Flesh Hooks, Deathspitters, Scything Talons 1 with: Enhanced Senses, Extended Carapace, Scything Talons, Venom Cannon
Troops: Genestealers: 2 broods of 8: Feeder tendrils, Scuttlers, Scything Talons Termagaunts:1 brood of 18 Fleshborers and Without Number Hormagaunts:1 brood of 18 Adrenal (WS or I), Extended carapace Rippers:1 base, Spinefists
Heavy Support: Gun Fex: Enhanced Senses, Extended Carapace, Tail Scythe, Barbed Strangler, Venom Cannon Melee Fex: Extended carapace, Tusked, Reinforced chitin, Thornback, Tail scythe, Spine banks, 2 scything talons
TOTAL POINTS: 1492
Re-did my 'nid list. I had been mis-adding the points for a long time, as I have completely screwed up my genestealers. ah well. I guess I will have to wait on them for a short time, and will fix them at a later date. Also, kept forgetting scuttlers. Julian vamp: my Carnifexes think your lack of Heavy weapons is delicious as well xp Oryn: sounds pretty solid to me. sounds kinda heavy on the anti infantry, but maybe I need to read your codex, because I am unfamiliar with the particulars of their rules.

That and the list is based off of what he owns. I'll admit, yes, it is light on anti-tank. And honestly, GK are not really made to take out heavy armor without taking Meltaspam Stormtroopers.

Shinobi_8745 Speed Freekz Mk II, NOW WITH LESS MODELS! <3 Warboss, Powerklaw, Warbike 125 Big Mek, Kustom Force Field, Burna, 'Eavy Armour, Bosspole 115 5 Bikernobz Powerklaw, Bosspole Kombi-skorcha Big choppa Dok 295 10 Boyz, Trukk, Wreckin' ball, Nob, Powerklaw, Bosspole, Rokkit Launcha 155 2 Deffkoptas, 1Buzzsaw 95 Buggy 30 Battlewagon, plates, 'ard case, killkannon 180 Total Points: 1000 Models in total: 22 Killpoints: 7 Am I insane? DAMN STRIGHT I AM! I don't have many hopes on the list in the tournament, but I'll have fun atleast. This list might be low in numbers, but against most lists I've played against with it it's been doing well, maybe not on holding objectives (apart from the one where you have one in your deployment zone and the opponent have one in his), though killpoints have been easy due to my bikernobz, and the BW and Trukk have manages to do pretty well too (and often actually survives due to the KFF). The strength with the list is that my enemy will have to decide on what he needs to take out first (most people go for the nobz at first, but they mostly regret when they have wastes about all their force's firepower on one unit to take out 1-2~ish nobz). I don't know why I took a buggy though... It's an easy givaway killpoint for the enemy, but I like the conversion I made, pretty much the reason why I wanna use it. wink During the first test-runs without the 2nd trukk mob I swapped the trukk for my sculpted warboss, he proved to be a nice 'ead smashing addition to the force, but the unit that was supposed to protect him went out quickly from enemy fire when they got out from the trukk, so he got swapped for my newest big mek instead, which proved to be almost as dangerous in combat.

Bikernobz make me cry at small scale. They have enough strength and sufficient wounds that they can plow through well over their points, especially with that attached Dok to keep them living.
The Mek ability for the 4+ Inv with his KFF will do a good job of getting your stuff much closer. Again, it makes scary units that much scarier.
As has been said before, you're a madman, Shinobi. Low numbers Orks? Preposterous. Also looks to be very, very killy for it's tiny size.
