Varro watched Luo attentively, and smirked lightly at the comment about were Lt was with the coffee. The thought of coffee actually brought him to another contemplation... how good that sounded. He could use a bit of a pick me up, then he remembered the flask that was given to him by Rei that helped with his muscle tension after they had worked on the wall back the lake. Then his mind drifted to his projects back at his work house at home. There was some modification he needed to do on his chained staff, and the other project... the kunai's. An idea had played around his head that would add some great properties to a throwing blade, but he hadn't got around to drawing up the plans. The image of it floated in his head, some calibrations, waiting issues, metals that needed to be used.
Well, all in all he wasn't incredibly attentive, his tired mind drifted, much like it seemed Luo's had in that short period. All those thoughts, quickly processing, and in just a quick moment his attention was back. Though his eyes had never left the face of the Mizukage, the words that Luo had asked returned his full attention to him.
"Caliga Hai'Auo sir," He responded simply, not quite feeling that this time it was necessary to point out that his father couldn't be important. That he was a simple builder, who owned a successful business, and knew some martial arts. Some, very good martial arts, for an architect... who never spoke of family or how he grew up. These were all things he had considered when he first came from the academy to the tower. ((Just a small note of possibly unoriginality in the father's name, it simply translates to Mist/darkness or dark from latin. According to an online translator that may be horribly wrong.))

Luo Ushio Pride Of The Mist テキスト翻訳 Suiton| Ina Hassei Ryouken No Jutsu l Fire l Mizukage l Wind l Shark Summoner Luo seemed to wrack his brain for a moment, if that. It wasn't too difficult for him to drum up the name since he was literally just looking at the building budget. Caligula was one of the architects he had to contract for a few of the buildings he had to rebuild. In fact, he had been in contact with the man quite exclusively as he was the only architect Luo saw to be competent enough to properly arrange his budgets down to the letter as well as complete his projects on time. However, as he thought about it and looked at Varro whom he'd seen working on buildings with his father, Luo seemed to go through a few things in his head. His facial features save for his ears and nose where somewhat similar to those in his clan. Furthermore, the name seemed to ring a bell in Luo's head. He could almost swear he had heard the name in passing from his grandfather when he was still the head of his clan. Drumming his fingers on his cheek, Luo went back to that day in his mind. He remembered being ten years old and rounding the outside patio which surrounded the traditional Japanese compound in order to get to the training grounds for a bit of practice. He distinctly remembered his grandfather speaking in a rather serious tone with his father. The name came up as he passed by and he remembered hearing something about a name change. But what was the original name? What Was it?
At last sitting up from his lazy position, Luo looked at Varro muttering, "Takeshi Ushio." Although the name would mean nothing to Varro, Luo continued with his thought process which had long passed what he was about to say aloud. "Nine years ago the head of the Ushio clan Li Ushio gained news of a clan member who had gone missing eleven years prior who had changed his name as well as his face apparently. His new name was Caligula. I remember my grandfather remarking the unoriginality in the name and even stating it was his inability to quickly assess how his decisions would affect him in the long run which caused him to skip the man for formal training. It's probably being outcasted from that particular facet of the clan that caused him to leave." By now Luo had already assessed that in some way the boy was related to him.

((Cough... it's Caliga, not Caligula. Cough.... lol.)) Varro studied the slight facial tweaks that Luo made, it was similar to what Lt had done earlier. There was that same shift in the air and feeling the room that made him realize that there was something a lot more important going on in the mizukage's head than what the name of his father should have entitled. The name that passed Luo's lips meant nothing to Varro, yet as the silence continued for a moment he toyed it around in his head. The last name of course was the same as his leaders, but the first name also felt familiar.
When Luo told the story, Varro was unsure how to react. In reality it didn't quite seem to him. This secret that he never even knew existed until today was that he was related to a very proud family within the village of the mist. The fact that there was a secret at all hadn't quite sunk in and his face showed a complete lack of realization for some time.
Varro's mouth dropped slightly and the tired that had grown apparent suddenly faded when his eyes gave that wide look of recognition. He moved slowly and without thought to the chair across from Luo's and sat down, his left hand grasping around his gapping mouth. He still stayed quiet, the brown always bright intelligent eyes looking right through the mizukage, someone he was probably.... no, was related to.
"My mother called him Takeshi in private... I always thought it was a nickname," He pondered aloud, his focus returning to Luo as he studied his face for signs that this may not be real. No reassurance was given of course, "Ushio... clan."
Again silence, more thoughts wracked his mind, "He kept it a secret, there must be..." He stopped, letting the words trail back into his mind before he sat up, the look of shock erasing from his face, again being consumed by determination. "Will you train me then? Make me someone able to protect and serve my home, to serve this village and all its people? I will work harder then anyone else mizukage, I will block pain, loose sleep, and give every ounce of my life to it. If time could be given sir, maybe you could also tell me about my history."

Riku Yukimura The Ice Prince
A calm knock echoed from the Mizukage's door, and Riku let himself in. He noticed that another student was exchanging words with Luo. "It appears I've interrupted something. Forgive me." he turned around and headed back through the door.

Kaizen Minoru 改善 山崎實 Demon Host of the Mist Fire | Lightning | Earth | Water | Wind
Kaizen walked up to the entrance of the Mizukage's tower, the burlap sack holding the vicious cat in his hand, and his friend Yamatano leaning on his shoulder. Using his foot, Kai opened the door of the tower, and almost immediately the visitors that were waiting in the lounge as they waited to submit their own jobs for the shinobi of Kirigakure to complete for them. As the people's eyes met his own, most of them either turned away or stared with a shocked expression. Kai sighed as he simply shook his head and began walking towards the stairs. By now he had gotten used to the stairs, after all there weren't many shinobi with eyes like his, stark white without even the tiniest hint of a pupil, and even amongst the few that did have similar eyes, Kai was unique in that he was not a hyuuga.
As they stepped towards the stairs however, an annoyed looking women stepped in front of them, barring their progress, Mrs. Kanai was, as usual, pissed at the two rambunctious genin. Before she could say anything however, Kai dodged around her, and began running as quickly as he possibly could, Yamatano's feet dragging across the ground. At the very least it was good strength training he supposed.
Finally making it to the top of the tower, Kaizen was surprised to see Riku exiting Luo-sama's office. With a small smile Kai walked over to him and said, "Hey there, long time no see, where've you been?""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me"

Riku Yukimura The Ice Prince
Riku noticed Kaizen's entrance and stopped to talk to him. His question made him pause for a moment as flashes of his homeland dashed through his mind, finally ending on a giant icy structure surrounded by darkness. Riku glanced away from Kaizen. "There....was someone I had to visit. Anyways, what have you two been up to lately? It seems you have gotten stronger while I was away. I can tell just from looking at you."

Kaizen smiled broadly as he said, with no attempt to hide his pride as he pointed at the mist headband wrapped around his upper left arm, "Well, as you can see I became a genin along with Yamatano here", Kai nodded his head towards the half-way concious Yama, "but other than doing missions and what not, I haven't really been doing much else." Kai then twisted his body slightly as he tried to see what was happening in Luo's office as he asked calmly, "is the Mizukage in, or were looking for him?""I live to fulfill the dreams of those that came before me" (alright, I'm off to bed, stupid work...)

Kanzuki walks into the Tower, having just returned from his briefing at his Clan house after the Sanbi attack," I wonder happened to it, I was knocked out halfway though the fight and Luo-Sama just told me they had taken care of it..." he muttered to himself as he noticed Kai," Yo Kai whats up, finishing up a mission!" he laughed as he noticed the sack that was shakeing violently, assuming it was the legendary cat that genin were always sent to chase.

Yamatano regained enough of his strength to open his eyes and get off of Kaizen's shoulder. His face and hair were a bloody mess, and his mask had several small holes from fang and scratch marks. The first thing he noticed was Riku, whom he had not seen in almost a month, standing out side the door. "Yukimura." Yamatano said curtly, still not on good terms with the ice user after he had tried to kill Kaizen. Suddenly a clawed paw rippe through the bag, and embedded itself into Yamatano's ankle. "OW OW OW OH WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS!!!!!" Yamatano yelled at the demon cat.

"You dont? Thats a shame." Yamatano said as he bent down to remove the claw from his leg. While leaning, he discreetly pushed one of his daggers about an eighth the way out of its sheath, the red metal shining. Hopefully if Riku didnt remember him, probably due to the mask he now wore, he would remember those daggers that had nearly sliced his throat after Riku had tried killing Kaizen while he was unconcious.

Riku noticed Yamatano's dagger and remembered it from when he tried to kill Kaizen. "Hatake. I think I remember now. So the village has you chasing cats around now?" he glanced at the bag. The task seemed like such an embarassment and waste of ninja skill to him. He hoped that Luo would provide him with a more interesting task when he got around to it.

(Its not a kunai, its an actual dagger)
Yamatano had an irked expression on his face, although it was hard to tell, as the only visible parts of his face were his right eye, for his headband covered his left, and the small holes where the cat had scratched his mask. "Well, yes. You see, when you first get your headband, you get put on smaller missions. But you wouldnt know that, would you?" Yamatano said, rubbing it in that Riku was still a student. He might have been a little harsh, but hey, he didnt like people who tried killing his friends.

Hmph, right. You have fun with your cats. I'm off to get stronger." Riku turned from Yamatano and left the tower. He'd return when things were a little less crowded.
