Zero shrugged. "No clue. If things go well, then yes. But I have no clue what's going to happen, so I figured I'd find someone as flexible with their powers as I am with mine."
He looked at him patiently. "It's for Strange. Interested?"

Deadpool blinked at this, but answered quickly enough. "Sure, if he's pay...." He glanced to the side, and noticed a stream of black fire making its way toward the pair of them. "...ing. Wow. Normally my hallucinations are more interesting than this," he said blankly, his eyes still on the flames.

Zero slapped Deadpool upside the head before shoving him away from the black fire and jumping back himself. He wondered if his power would allow him to absorb it, but he'd rather not test it out if he didn't have to.
"Damn it, if you're going to hallucinate, leave me out of it." Zero drew a regular pistol and fired at the fire experimentally.

 The flames quickly move and danced around their feet as a Reaper rose out of them behind each of the men. Another appeared a few feet away from them and grinned.

Deadpool's eyes widened, and then he crossed his arms. "Aw, man! It's the freaking creepy skeleton! Do you have any idea how much trouble I went into to avoid you?" He turned cautiously around, and then face-palmed. "And he can duplicate? No. Freaking. Way. I've already had to fight the Hulk; I don't do magic."

"You know this guy?" Zero asked of Deadpool. "Huh. Why am I not surprised." Maybe if Zero stayed out of it, he wouldn't get dragged into the fight. He stepped back a bit to see if that was true.

Deadpool shot Zero a dirty look, although he couldn't say he was surprised. He would have done the same thing, were their positions reversed. "Nice. Really nice. I need better friends... Or just friends."

"Maybe if you beat this chump, I'll respect you enough to have your back." He laughed. "Nah, I'm goofing. We both know that would never happen. But on a serious note, I need a competent partner for this next mission, so I guess now's the time to prove your worth."

The Reaper smiled and chuckled a bit. "Sorry, had I known that you really didn't want to meet me, I would have just made this quick." he replied. The Reaper behind him didn't move.
"Tell you what then...I won't fight with either of you, making this nice and quick. I simply need something from you, and then I will leave as quickly as I came, and you won't have to deal with me. With any luck, you'll never have to see me again." he said.

Damn, he had said "either of you." Now Zero was involved, so he might as well help get them out of it. God knew Deadpool couldn't do it.

The Reaper turned to the other man and smiled. "I simply need a small bit of blood to keep me going." he replied. "Blood from those with power last's so much longer than human, and I need so much less of it. Humans I need everything they have and then some. Supers, believe it or not, only a few drops.".

Deadpool crossed his arms again and leaned back against the wall. He could have said something about the Reaper wanting their blood to absorb their powers, thereby making himself more powerful, or something about his ultimate goal being the defeat of that hot girl in the skirt. He'd read the other threads, after all. It was good to keep up to date. But if Zero wanted him to shut up... Well FINE. He'd shut up.... For the next couple seconds.
