Why do you love Japan: Well, I really wasn't into all the Japanese stuf till I met this kid that was REALLY into Naruto (which is awesome btw), so I started watching it. After that, Japanese culture and Anime really hit home with me. It's been 2 years since I got into this stuff, and I still lurv it today!
Ever been to Japan, if so where: No crying , but I would love to go to Tokyo one day!
Interests: Drawing, reading, playing the flute, drawing, watching anime (Naruto, Bleach, FMA, etc.), drawing...oh, and did I mention DRAWING?!!

Why do you love Japan:I love the culture! It's very unique and the language is awesome! I really want to major in art and move to Japan.

Why do you love Japan: I love Japan mainly for its traditions and culture, as well as the art, food and history.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: No, sadly. But I've eaten in a restaurant called Shinjuku. It's very authentic. XD
Interests: drawing, writing, music, history, anime, manga, roleplaying, stuffed animals, dolls, cute things, animals, video games, food.

Personality: I tend to be sensitive, but ironically frank. I'm quite talkative, but I get quiet when I'm not in the mood or when something upsets me. People sometimes see me as a social person, but I'm afraid of people. I'm not too comfortable trying new things and tend to stick to what I'm used to doing. I'm actually a mean person, but I try my best to keep the negative comments to myself. I would say I am an arrogant, selfish, self-centered a$$hole who wants things her way all the time, but people don't usually see that since only my family and closest friends see the ugly side of me. Well, I guess that's all? Lol.

Why do you love Japan: I've loved Japan since middle school when I first started reading manga which was filled with Japanese culture. I became infatuated with Japanese culture and I can't wait to move there.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: No I haven't yet but I'm going next year!!<3 I'm actually moving there and teaching English after college.

Greetings to everyone here :3 Namecall me Rumi, it´s short and I even listen to this name... Location Germany, Berlin - Leipzig - Rostock (or somewhere....) Why do you love JapanIf I would know this razz well actually it started with the Anime of Dragonball, then I bought the magazine, in this they showed the Manga, which I buyed then (or better my father) After I listend to the song "Get Along" sang by Megumi Hayashibara from the Anime Slayers I knew that Japanese was the language number one for me ^^ my parents thought this japan-craziness would go by within a year, well it just got worser but they support me as much as possible Ever been to Japan, if so whereNope But I will go there ^^ End of August this year and I will stay there 3 month with a hostfamily...yeah! Interests reading (currently books from Terry Prattchet, Rebecca Gable and Walter Moers)
sewing (historic costumes, cosplay costumes, wedding dresses, curtains ~ whatever people ask me to sew ^^)
experimental cooking with friends
collecting newspaper articles about japan
listen to music
learn how to be a "super wife" *lol* just joking smile ) but with my mainhobbies I feel like I wife from time to time

Why do you love Japan: It started with a love of anime way back in my kiddie-days with Sailor Moon, but it progressed into a deep love for the linguistics of the Japanese language. The food, culture, and history are quite interesting too!

About me: I love music, I am a huge band dork and pianist. And also play the saxophone. I am a big manga/anime fan,
all my friends resent me for that reason so i'm glad I have you guys to understand!!
When I became intrested: This year actually! Can you believe I made a commitment to learn Japanese in such a short time???
Why: I had started with anime/manga but then started to read things about the culture and finally decided that Japan is the greatest!!!

Heya.
I'm from Maryland, right next to DC.
I'm a robotics/electrical engineer.
You can just call me a computer scientist... or insane, because of all my hobbies though.
You can pretty much figure I'm also into roleplaying, videogames, anime, and everything else fun here. I don't want to go into that many details biggrin
...
But yeah, I'm a pretty interesting and pleasant guy... well, I'd like to believe that anyway... and I really enjoy talking to people, even if they aren't so talkative...
Hmm... and I don't really know why I like Japan...
I made a connection to it somewhere along the lines....

Why do you love Japan: Ever since I was a small child I've loved anything Asian. Understandably I credited it all to China. I learned that it was all Japanese when I got into Naruto. Some friends set me straight. I love the emphasis Japan puts on respect, and the wonderful entertainment they produce. Also, I think the language is beautiful.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: No. I can't wait 'til I finally go. Someday...hopefully...
Interests: drawing, anime, writing, philosophy, pathology, sociology, psycology, anything that has to do with the way people think and interact with the world. I don't really like other people, but I must admit that humans are fascinating.

Ever been to Japan, if so where: Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Tokyo, Nara, Naha, Osaka, Kobe..probably more but I can't really remember.

When I was little I loved learning different languages. o 3o I grew up speaking Tagalog and asked my grandmother if she knew any others. Apparently she and my grandfather were fluent in Japanese as well as English, semi fluent in Spanish and a tad bit of French. They told my parents who then enrolled me in a Japanese school where I continued learning for a while.~ I am by no means fluent, which sucks seeing how long I've studied the language. D8 I'm maybe like..little kid fluent.
