"A soak in the hot springs will help loosen your muscles." She helped him down the small decline to the lower chamber. There was a stunning rock pool that took up most of the room. "It's my favorite place to relax."

Callista giggled and sat down next to the edge of the pool. "It's perfect. Not too shallow, not too deep. It's a natural hotspring, so it's very good for healing. It will probably take the sting from your neck."

She dipped a hoof in the water and absently swished it to and fro. She wanted to try merging her mind with his, just to see if it would work.

Valzar closed his eyes and allowed the heat to seep into his body, relaxing tensed muscles and easing the pain from the vampire's attack.

She nodded. "I can teach you some stuff that will either stop her or slow her down. It's going to be hard, since you're not used to working that way. My blood should have boosted your psychic abilities, so you should be capable of doing this now."
