Maruku looked from his sensei to the strange other man. He was slightly confused. He then shrugged and began to focus his chakra.

"Wohwoh." The 16 year old began to back off slowly from Maruku, holding his hands up as if he was being arrested. "I don't want any trouble." Naruto said as he continued to keep his hands in the air, letting out an uneasy laugh.

Maruku suddenly pulsed forward at Naruto and struck out with an open palm. Before the palm hit naruto, it as aimed at his midsectio, the sand and dirt around Naruto and Maruku rose up to wrap around naruto's midsection.

Naruto squinted as he concentrated chakra to all parts his hands as they were raised to the sky. Fire began to form all around his hands, smirking, the teen brought his hands down to hit the sand and dirt away for a brief moment, then bringing them up again to grab Maruku's hand purposely.

Maruku jumped back when his sand had been blocked. It had again not been fast enough. He sighed as he watched naruto and his flaming hands. Looking about the ara he noticed medium sized rocks were right under his feet. Perfect weapons.
" Now I dont know why I am doing all this as I have not learned much yet. Maybe you could shed some light on this mystery? "
As he said this he reached down and grabbed two rocks the size of his palm.

"Uh oh, puns." He back off slightly, taking steps back while his hands continued to flame. "Some light you say? Well if you say so." Naruto thrusted the palm of his left hand at Maruku as it let out a blinding flash of light; the flash went on long enough to allow the teen to escape from Maruku's line of vision, for now. His current location was unknown.

Maruku winced at the light but recovered quikly. The man was no where o be seen. Very well then...He began to focus his chakra more and smiled as sand and dirt began to circle about the ground around him. All he had to do was wait for the man to attack.

Three fireballs came from above Maruku, no longer the size of his fist, but the size of soccer balls. Naruto then appeared in front of his opponent, tossing two kunai; while another Naruto showed it's self to the left of Maruku, throwing four kunai.

The sand swirling about Maruku suddenly shot up to defelct the kunai being thrown at him while Maruku launched back to avoid the balls of fire. The two rocks he still had in his hands suddenly became shruikien as pieces of rock crumbled away. he launched one at each of the Narutos' awaiting to see if they would dodge. Again sand and dirt swirled around him.

One of the Naruto's was hit, disappearing in a puff of smoke as the other ducked and ran at Maruku. The original Naruto coming up from behind the Earth student, hands and feet covered with fire once more, but this time the fire was bigger and more heated. He stopped, thrusting one of his arms towards Maruku's back as powerful constant stream of fire launched out. The clone still running at him from the left side.

His cat ears perked at the sound of fire behind him. The sand and dirt sudenly launched itself up to marukus back to protect him while he grabbed another rock and quickly tranmuted it into a shruikien and launched it at the upcoming naruto.

"S.o.b." The clone got within nine feet of range and was struck with the stone shuriken, dissipating into another puff of smoke. But soon a lighted rock covered with ten explosion tags appeared from the smoke. Naruto flung his arms across his chest as a wall of fire, compressed with chakra, formed infront of him. Serving as a shield for the upcoming explosion.

He focused his chakra as quickly as he could to create a shiled out of the sand and dirt around him, he knew it wouldnt be enough but it would take most of the damage.
Maruku grabbed several rocks and then tossed them at the rock coming his way. It was only a foot away by this time.
Explode dammit!

The tags almost went out as it was now very close to Maruku, Naruto was counting down in his head when the time of the tags would go. ..2..1... He increased the pressure on both sides of the firewall before he counted down to one, to make sure the defense tech would hold up.
Soon a large explosion spawned as it spread out across the battle field, but mostly in the direction of Maruku. Sending rubble and rocks flying every which way. Naruto's firewall was holding out fine for now as the rubble melted on contact, the explosion would soon begin to feed the wall as it headed his way.

The shield was holding but the heat was intense, Fire and rubble surged past him. The scent of burnt hair became caught in his nose. he clothing sparked and caught just to be put out by Maruku. When the fire stopped the shieldfell and crumbled, Maruku was smoking and coughed as he stood. he then turned to face the man who was shielding the rest of his body. Marukus eyes were red and could easily be recognized as in the grips of a berserker rage. His tail flickered about angrily as his usually normal teeth began stretching and sharpening.
Nekal was coming...
The demon who inhabited and was bonded with Maruku's soul was emerging. It had been such a long time since it had last taken control. Maruku began to sprout fur that was white with black dots. His whole appearance became that of a large snowleopard standing on two legs. Nekal of the wind had arrived. The elemental demon looked about and smiled.
