"Well... you have to admit," Kara murmured softly, "There hasn't been a time it hasn't worked for her. So... no, I don't think she'll grow out of it any time soon."
After all it was quite hard to convince her when everyone who she's done it to smiled afterwards.

Haradhel smiled to herself. She was glad Ahren was feeling at least a little better now, but she had a feeling it wouldn't last much longer than the candy itself. Still, it was just the way he was, and she was certain that he would grow out of it soon.
As she was serving everyone breakfast, Elrohir entered the room from outside.
"Good morning, everyone," he said jovially as he headed over to Haradhel to sit down. "I trust everyone slept well."

"Very well," Kara agreed with a nod.
Standing up, she checked over Miyu's obi one last time. It wouldn't do for it to come undone as she had learned the hard way a few years back.
Miyu waved at Elrohir as her way of a good morning to him.

"Good morning!" Lin called out from where she was before heading towards the table so she wouldn't keep people waiting.
Besides she was looking toward to getting practice and lessons out of the way so she could go and do other things.
"Morning Elrohir," Donovan murmured as he sat down, tugging lightly on Kara's arm to get her to sit beside him, "Sleep went well."

Elrohir smiled. "Glad to hear it," he commented lightly. "It's always nice to sleep well before a journey."
Ahren looked like he wanted to pout again at that comment, but he was still sucking on the candy so he couldn't.
"Aye," Haradhel smiled in agreement, "and you'll be needing your strength, too, so eat up." She finished serving everyone and started to eat.

"Thanks," Donovan replied as he began to eat.
He was not normally a breakfast person, but he knew if he didn't Kara would get him for it. It was sort of pay back for all the proding he did as her assistant when she worked overtime.

Celebor also began to eat, but he ate very slowly. Truth be told, he wasn't particularly hungry, and he suspected that it just might have something to do with how nervous he was feeling. It wasn't just the trip in general, but more the thought that this was his chance to show Donovan - or prove to him, really - that he wasn't a child anymore. And yet he knew how Donovan was - protective, skeptical - and he knew that a single mistake on his part could make Donovan consider him too young to come along again.

Lin somehow managed to hum and eat. She was too big to play with her food, but it didn't stop her from arranging it into a face before eating it.
"You okay?" Donovan asked Celebor.
Maybe he was not use to this older Celeor, but he was sure the boy... man... would be eating faster by now.

Celebor looked up at Donovan, his green eyes filled with determination.
"I'm fine," he nodded certainly. "Just not very hungry at the moment, is all."
Of course, he was also used to putting in an hour or two of training before eating, so that might also be a part of it.

"Well there's enough food in your bags to last you for a month or more, if necessary," Haradhel assured the two, "so don't worry if you're not hungry until later. Just make sure you eat enough while you're out there, hunger is the fastest way to break down your strength, and you will be needing it."

Kara nodded at that, and she was sure they wouldn't be gone for that long. Otherwise she would worry about them.
Miyu listened in on, "But eat a bit, otherwise your tummy will rumble," she told Celebor.

"I see..." Donovan nodded, "That's not surprising. I'm not much of a breakfast person before something gets done."
He was sure Kara's eyes would be rolling at that becasue she knew what he meant.

"To be honest," Celebor smiled, "I'm used to training for a few hours before I eat. When I was in the Southland I would train all morning and lunch would be my first meal of the day, so I guess I'm not really used to breakfast at all anymore."
He grinned at Miyu. "But I'll try to eat at least something," he told her, not wanting her to worry about him.

As he finished up breakfast he proded Lin into stop playing with her food. Only to have the little girl giggle up at him before continuing to eat.

"Good!" Miyu smiled as she nibbled on her food as always.
It wasn't that she wasn't hungry, but rather she always nibbled on her food like the way a little mouse would.
