Link nodded and then lead his companions over to the eastern door. Using his key, he unlocked it and entered the new room, unaware of what awaited him

((Ah... a good two days of rest does wonders for a sickness.))
The room behind the lock was somewhat small, it was rectangular, and it had a skeletal corpse near the door, which seemed to be laying there for a long time... the door itself was locked, with a silver lock, and there seemed to be a key amongst the bones.

Zelda blinked at the bones, and then took a small, careful step backward. "Does that look a little too simple to you?" Goddess, she was tired. She knew that she was only exhausted because she was a spoiled little princess who wasn't used to this much excitement, but being wise enough to recognize the truth in something obviously didn't mean she could do anything about it.

"Hm, I'm sure it's fine," Link replied, but still, he was cautious as he approached the bones.

Suddenly, the bones jumped up, and formed a body, that had a sword and shield, and laughed wickedly... The key seemed to be where its stomache would've been if it was still alive...

Link stumbled backwards in surprise as the skeleton appeared. Quickly, he regained his balance and took on his fighting stance. With his left arm, Link swung at the beast, but unlike the monsters before, this one seemed to know how to defend itself. The Stalfo pulled up it's shield then cackled at it's opponent. It then took out it's curved blade and went to strike the Hylian, but luckily, he had a shield of his own, "Hey, I could use a little help here!"

Quickly, Bowie sprang into action, taking out his brother's sword, and attacked the skeleton... but, he was noticed, and was quickly blocked...

'He can't block both of us at once,' Link thought then immediately charged forward. With the master sword in hand, he sliced through the skeleton, forcing him back, but still it didn't seem to be over.

"Please, I don't want to engage in a match of insults," Arryl groaned. "Just go with it, okay? This will make things easier for you later. Just trust me. Go," she added, pushing Sofia a little faster up the mountainside.
It wasn't too long before they were on the path approaching the cliff that lead to the most direct entrance of Death Mountain. Arryl looked up. Hopefully there wouldn't be one of those unnaturally frequent eruptions she had heard about. If so... well, she couldn't let Sofia get away, could she?

The skeleton stumbled back, and quickly attacked Link in retaliation. Hoping that the blond would block, Bowie quickly sliced the skeleton...

Link raised his shield to defend, but it was no longer necessary. When he looked up, the staslfo was no longer there, instead, there stood a pile of dissolving bones, in the middle of which was a silver key, "Thanks Bowie," Link smirked as he picked up the key. He then stood up and held it out to the boy, "Would you like to do the honors?"

Bowie grinned widely, and took the key, "Yessum!" He quickly unlocked the door, and opened it, revealing the next room...
In this room, It was a large room, that almost looked like a cathedral, A huge stained glass window was in the back, and a large pillar was near the center. At the top seemed to be a strange looking staff, but it was hard to see what it was...

(I thought there was one more room between this)
Link looked up at the staff and couldn't help but think, 'What's the catch?' He turned back to his companions and told them in a serious manner, "We'd best stay on guard."

"I'm glad you think so, Link," replied Zelda somewhat drily. ((Sorry for the short post; super busy))

(No... there were four doors in the main room, one in the east, one in the west, one in the north, and one in the northwest.)
As they entered the room, a black cloud formed, and suddenly, a shape took form... It took the shape of a large skull, with glowing red eyes, and floated about... It then stopped, opened its mouth wide, and fired a ball of energy from it...
