Ambular_boogerbutt Koiyuki Ambular_boogerbutt Koiyuki Ambular_boogerbutt *walks ot her room and sits on her bed, leaving her door open, no longer caring* It was a mistake coming here....I have made two friends, and I haven't spoken to them in days....I think I should just go back home...I can't make it here...without friends, I'm nothing...*a tear runs from her face as she gets up and begins to pack her things* Ai stops at her room and sees that tears are running down her face. She sits next to her and says, "Whats wrong? Why are you crying?" *looks up at her, she waks to her closet and gets cothes out, putting them in her case* Nothing...I...I just don't belong here....*her Texan accent starting to show* Having been to Texas once, Ai tried her best to immtate the accent as she said, "Why say that, hon?" *giggles slightly at her attempt* I...I just don't have any friends here and I don't think that I'll fit in with all the California folk....They already look at me funny...*keeps taking the clothes out and folding them up, tears still lightly running down her face* Well you don't give 'em a chance to git to know you, hon. Not everything goes right on yo' first day somewhere. Hell, when I first came to America, my English was so bad I needed 2 translators just to say, "where's the bathroom?" Stay a while, hon. The folks are friendly and helpful, if you give 'em a chance to talk to ya. Don't git nothin if ya don't say nothin', you know? She gave her a welcoming hug as she said that. She then said in her most natural English possible, "People can be very friendly if you give them a chance to know the real you. So they look funny at you now, so what? Does that mean you have to automatically give up? The answer should be no, my dear, and you know it. Koiyuki and I care about everyone that stays under this roof, no matter how "weird" they may be. Is that not why you came here? To make new friends and start life anew?"

Chiku was walking back from Alex's room when, out of the corner of her eye, she saw something. Vyce, and Seori, the first two people she met, in the same bed, together, in Vyce's room. Her eyes opened wide in shock.
Why are they together already? Why the first people I meet, abandoning me again? Why am I the only one left out, again? Why are they doing this? I hate this. Hate it. Hate them. She was Rose, only a shocked, bordering-on-crying Rose. It makes me want to kill, to cut them open and rip out heir ribs, lungs, everything She was Satsuki again, and she was crying, wishing she was stronger, wishes she wasn't so selfish, and trying so hard not to be. She collapsed onto her knees. No, no, no! That's not what I want! I want to be with them. I want them to be here. She was Chiku, who wiped away her tears and tried to get up. She was Satsuki again, almost crying. She didn't see Seori walk out of the room, didn't hear her whispered plea.
She felt a gentle hand on her shoulder, and heard a voice asking, "Are you okay?"

Chiku looked up at Ai, giving a forced smile. "No, I'm fine." She walked back to her room and got dressed.
She noticed the time, and walked over and picked up her bag with her clarinets in it. She leaned out the window and tossed the bag onto the roof, and then climbed up. She spent some time just looking at everything she could see, feeling the wind blow in her gentle hair. She barely even noticed when she started singing in her pure, sweet, soothing voice. ((The voice I wish I could have))
"'Tis a gift to be simple, 'tis a gift to be free..."

Stephen began snoring in the dining area, his head propped up on one of his bags of belongings. He was pretty much oblivious to all the others and would be like that for a while. He mumbled about monkeys in his sleep, though and the tattered jeans he wore revealed his teddy bear boxers as he moved to lay face down, cuddling his other bag.

Koiyuki Koiyuki had returned from doing some errands and was heading to her room to retire for the night, and she heard quiet mumblings coming from the fern in the hall. The first thing she thought was, "Ferns aren't supposed to talk...." She then looked behind it and saw Seori talking to herself. She walked in front of her and kneeled, looking her in the eye as she said, "Something the matter, Seori?" Seori looked up, surprised to see Koiyuki kindly looking down on her. Her cheeks flushed with embarassment. " Oh, nothing, sorry," she stood up wiping her stained cheeks. " I've had a case of insomnia for about a month, and the lack of sleep tends to erk my nerves after awhile. I think I might go get some fresh air." She thanked Koiyuki for checking on her and started heading for the staircase that led to the roof. She remembered earlier that day that Vyce and Chiku were going to go up there, so the memory just led her feet up each step. Seori took a deep breath of the cool night air, waking her mind and senses, but not her body. Glancing around for a place to sit, she heard a sweet, resonating voice singing under the moonlight. It was Chiku, and by the look in her eyes and face, it was the one that Seori was friends with. She crept quietly behind her, and gently sat down to listen to her sad, yet beautiful song.

Oni began to cook up a storm. She directed Chester to slice up some carrots and a few other veggies.
"You have great hands for it," she said, winking, "I can see that you're very skilled with them."
Meanwhile, she boiled some water for noodles, cut open some chicken and seasoned it lightly, while also heating up some oil in a pan so that she could fry it up.
"I'll be right back," Oni said, "Could you watch the stove? I thought I'd get out something special to celebrate with. Just you and me, though, kay? It's a secret."

((Don't take it the wrong way, Seori, it's just that our characters just met, you know. I don't want him to get laid before I do, so I'm a bit jealous, you know? xp ))
Vyce felt strange. Like he had moved or, more likely, the bed had moved. He noticed that he was alone. Her scent was still there, but Seori was nowhere to be found. He went out for a walk around the hall, only to find Ai walking around. For a second, he was surprised at how attractive Ai really was. Since he did not know her, he didn't spend much time with her, and the little time spent with her was during hectic situations. He didn't know much about her.
Hey, Ai. - He said, groggy look in his face. - what are you doing up? Do you know where Seori is? have you seen her? Maybe she went back to her room. What about Chiku?
He was worried about them both. He pulled up his pajamas, which were about to fall off, and thought about Chiku's change.

Chiku stopped singing and opened her eyes.
"Seori? What're you doing here?"
She opened her bag and started putting one of her clarinets together, holding a reed in her mouth.
