Batsu nodded. Shinzu was absolutely right about it. If he stayed in a negative state then everything negative would happen. So he tried to cheer himself but something still worried him. "Shinzu, just try to do your best. I don't want Masaraku to win alone if possible. The girl would never let us live it down. Deal?"

Shinzu picked up the Dummy, and set it straight yet again, and aiming for the storage area of the dummy, Shinzu used the Senpu yet again. The dummy flew across the room, hitting the wall, right next to the rest of the dummies. Shinzu nodded as it hit the wall and walked back over to Batsu, holding out his hand for Batsu to shake. As he did so he closed to gate, revealing that he was sweating profusely from the strain of holding the gate open. "Deal. Now let's start your training shall we?"

Batsu took Shinzu's hand and shook before releasing and looking at the dummy sit upright against the wall. The boy rolled his eyes and looked back at Shinzu with a playfully annoyed expression. "You're such a showoff Shinzu... but yeah. It's my turn now so let's get started, shall we?" Batsu ran over to the scroll and picked it up. He then looked it over and memorized what needed to be done quickly.

Shinzu looked at the scroll for a moment before sitting down, and generally relaxing. "Well it looks like your flexibility will be the key to master that style. Not that I really need to tell you that." Shinzu said with a grin as he leaned back slightly.

The first thing Batsu did before doing any type of acrobatic feat was to start stretching. The boy knew that just jumping right into training could pu a lot of strain on the muscles... something he didn't want right now. As he did so, he replied with a nod. "That's fine by me. You can keep your strength. I'll take speed and flexibility any day. Besides, as a medic, I have to be able to dodge attacks in order to make it to you and Masaraku if you two get hurt."

"Well ya going to start training or just keep standing there? According to this you need to start doing some crazy acrobatic moves or something." Shinzu said, lightly poking fun at Batsu, as he continued to sit on the ground.

Batsu continued to stretch as he listened to Shinzu make that sidewaays comment. "Call it whatever you like Shinzu, but I can do more acro than you can. Let's see you do what I do without falling on your face." The boy then sniffled and stopped stretching. He was limber enough to exert some energy... and shut Shinzu up while doing so.

The boy rolled his neck a bit. After a while he stopped and clapped his hands together signifying that he was ready to start. His hands parted and within mere seconds the boy did a back handspring. He ended up landing safely. It was only natural. After all, this type of thing was his specialty. As he stood up straight and smirked a bit. "I'd love to you you try that one day." It was actually sorta fun to show his skills off for a little bit..

Well the boy decided to go ahead and focus more on his training as opposed to showing off. The training was gonna help him get stronger. Proving his skillset to Shinzu was gonna do nothing for him physically. With that said, he said nothing else to Shinzu as he continued to work on his flips and whatnot. But it took the boy a little bit to realize that the obstacle course he set up for Shinzu was still up and he could run through it as well.

The boy started on his way but he then he remembered that he was to do all of this in a narrow space. The boy stopped himself and did a standing backflip. The boy stomped the ground as he landed and he sighed. It was fun still but the point of this exercise was something he already knew how to do... and do it well. Still, the boy stood still and thought about what trick he would do next.

Batsu ended up doing a front flip next. However, Batsu spiced it up a bit and ended up landing in a split. He never did it before, but it turned out to be quite well executed. Hell, if capoeira was all about tricks while still fighting then this was gonna be a cakewalk. He just couldn't wait to try everything out. Who knows... he might even end up beating Shinzu with this. Well, a win against anyone would be great right about now.

That little stunt proved to be a bit too much. The boy ended up pulling a muscle. He started to do hand seals in order to use his medical jutsu on the strain... but that would've been a bit much for a simple strain, so he stopped himself. Instead he rubbed his leg down with a bit of pressure in order to relieve the pain. Thank goodness he was a decent aide, because he healed himself nicely.

Batsu stood up and walked around for a bit just to ensure that he was okay. After a while he was ready to go back to work.He did just that. The boy did the same flip and once again landed in a split. This time, though, he didn't land so damn hard. If definitely help because he didn't stretch anything out of whack. He learned his lesson. Make sure not to over-exert yourself because it can end up doing more harm than good.

Batsu spun around while still on the ground and he tucked his body and rolled backwards. He propped his body onto his arms for leverage and hopped to his feet. Using that same momentum, Batsu went straight into a back tuck and landed safely on the ground... unfurling as he stood straight up and sighed. He never did anything like that before and it was mad fun. His acrobatic skills were definitely improving and he knew it.

Batsu pondered for a little about his next move. After a while, the boy just decided to do something basic for the time being. So the boy just did a no-handed cartwheel in the air. It was a really easy thing for him to do and he did so effortlessly. The boy landed upright and looked over to Shinzu. "Okay, I think that I've done enough. What's next for me to do in this training? " The boy slid his hands in his pockets and awaited a response from the other.

Shinzu yawn slightly and reached over, grabbing the scroll. "According to this you have to do something called 'Shadowbox', evidently you add kickd, slaps, elbows, and knees to what you just did." Shinzu said, being mildly sarcastic the whole time, but grinning lightly as he finished. Secretly Shinzu was fiddling witht he second gate, having discovered that he didn't have to virtually meditate to do so.

Batsu grunted. "Huh... never did any real fighting before, so this is going to be a tough feat." The boy just did a simple kick. It looked extremely awkward and even he knew that. So he ended up stopping and looking off in total embarrassment. "Jeez Shinzu, how do you do this crap. I didn't expect taijutsu to be so... tough." Batsu sighed a bit and looked down at his feet.

"Come on Batsu, we did basic kicks and stuff in the Academy, remember? Anyway it's rather simple, you're jsut over thinking it is all." Shinzu said, still leaning back slightly, outwardly relaxed. Meanwhile his mind was moving a mile a minute, trying to locate that second gate.

But jeez, that was so long ago. Not to mention that Batsu stopped focusing on taijutsu and went on to work on medical ninjutsu and, to a lesser extent, archery. He still tried Shinzu's way. The boy cleared his mind and inhaled deeply. After a few moments, Batsu jumped in the air and went straight into a butterfly kick. It was executed perfectly and he even amazed himself. Batsu then turned to Shinzu and snarled a bit. "You think you know everything, huh?"

Masaraku stepped down into the basement, the familiar clicking of her heels resonated throughout the room as they hit wood over and over. She came down to find Shinzu and Batsu sparring. "Pfft figures you losers are still hanging around the academy. Can't find the heart to take off the training wheels yet?" She leaned against a wall and looked at them. "You know, if you two keep running off together to have hot, steamy, sparring sessions together all the time, people are going to talk. You two uh ... do a little bit of sword fighting on the side? I little hide and go freak? It explains why Shinzu ditched me in the middle of our date." She pushed off the wall and walked towards them, "I'm cool with you guys dating and everything, but ..." She picked up the wooden nodachi from the rack and took her own off. "You guys need to stop being so scatterbrained on the battlefield. I mean Batsu does his part with the healing s**t, but Shinzu ... maaaaaaan ... You have got to keep your head in the game." She unzipped the platform heeled boots and slipped out of them before propping the wooden blade against the rack, tying her hair up into a ponytail and slippy a hair tie into it. "But seriously guys, what ever happened to that whole teamwork thing? You keep leaving me out of your little meetings, and it is really starting to annoy me." She unlatched the armor on her suit and lifted it off, putting it beside the weapons rack, then she reached behind her and unzipped the suit, stepping out of it, her body glistened in the light with a layer of sweat visible through her gray tank top, but untouched by the green booty shorts. Her arms bulged with muscle, and the sweaty tank framed her perfect abs. Her breast were wrapped down beneath the tank top. "What I mean to say, is I know that this is a boys only club and everything ..." She picked up the wooden Nodachi and said, "But if you aren't man enough to stop a girl from kicking your a**," She looked at Shinzu and said, "Again. Then I would like to join in this sparring game."

((Its time for some bonding guys. This needs to go down.))

As per Shinzu's request, Batsu did another butterfly kick. Midway trough the kick, he heard an all too familiar voice... one that actually made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. It was Masaraku's voice and it damn near made him forget about the jutsu although he managed to pull it off without being a complete flop.

The boy just glared at Masaraku as she went through her little tirade. He was nice enough to let her say what she had to say but now was his turn. "We just started practicing today, so what are you talking about? And frankly, I could care less about what others say. However, since you want to go on the attack, how am I to include you on..." Batsu lifted his arms and did air quote with his fingers them dropped them to the sides again. "... the team when you are everything but a teammate. In battle you focus on what you are capable of and damn everything else. In case you forgot, there are three of us on the squad. If you continuously think about yourself and the other two are working together then the problem isn't with us... and why would anyone WANT to work with you? You constantly talk down to us and expect everyone to get along?" The boy scoffed then rolled his eyes. "... and we aren't sparring."

Shinzu gave a mental sigh, great Masaraku was here now... "We're not sparring right now, but if you truely want to work with us, help us out a bit,a nd we'll help you." Shinzu said turning to Masaraku. "Batsu, with Taijutsu you have to stay focused, or you'll hurt yourself." Shinzu added, turning back to Batsu. And now Shinzu's focus was broken, and he'd have to try locating the second gate from the beginning.
