Blinking, Kalore nodded and looked into his eyes, seeing the honesty in them. "It's... It's okay. Really, it's fine... I don't want you upset or anything over something that involves me, it really isn't something that..." He couldn't continue because Kalore was about to mouth out, "It really isn't something that I care too much about." But he did care. A lot. He didn't know why, but he did. Closing his mouth, Kalore bit his lip, watching him nervously.

"If I was upset, I would have done alot of damage by now." He said, unconsciencely rubbing his thumb along Kalore's jawline to his chin. "It isn't what? Important? It has to be if this keeps happening." Looking at Kalore bite his lip he furrowed his brows. "Do I make you nervous or scared?" He asked. That was a question he hadn't asked to someone he cares for in a long time.

Kalore sighed and ran a hand through his hair, leaning into the touch slightly as he spoke. "Monty... I've seen you snap at me before... You don't scare me, you probably should but you don't. I'm nervous to mess up big time... I don't want to." Locking eyes with him, Kalore sighed again. He didn't know where they stood and it bothered him.

"Then perhaps it's best that you don't pursue anything with me. It will only bring you trouble and unwanted pain. I'm not the greatest thing to have around for companionship, Kalore." He said and dropped his hand, stepping back slightly to look at Kalore. He didn't want Kalore to lower his standards for a demon. No one wanted a demon as more than just a weapon or fighting buddy.

A twitch was visible as Kalore's eyes darkened, mimicking a demon easily. "You think that that's gonna stop me? Think, Monty... If I want something, I go after it. You're not something that I would consider a fling or something temporary... You've got more self respect than that, I'm sure." If not then Monty was a damn good actor. "I don't understand how you can think that just because you're temperamental and a demon, that would stop me from going after something I obviously like. If you don't like me, fine. That's a reason to back off. If that's not it, it's not happening."

Kalore didn't have a voice, but his voice could be heard in one's mind. He wasn't mad, he was just getting annoyed. It was one thing to be denied because someone didn't like you. It was a totally different thing to be denied because someone was too much of a wuss to go after what they themselves seem to want.

Narrowing his eyes, he growled lowly. "Then what you want you can't have." He growled and walked pasted Kalore out of his bathroom and into his closet to get some clothes to wear. He didn't need to stand and explain himself to anyone, even if he was liking them. Not when it was more complicated than that. He was complicated.

Kalore sighed and nodded. Fine. He didn't know if it was how he was taking it, but the elf was going to take that as a rejection. If Monty wanted to prove him wrong, then fine. But for the moment Kalore would back off. Another sad sigh and he walked out, ignoring Monty as he went into the room that he was using for the moment. Sitting on the bed, Kalore looked around the room for anything that might have been his.

Monty changed quickly into combat gear, everything total black and ready to hurt something or someone. Running his hand through his wet hair, he stalked back to the room he gave Kalore. "We go now." He said, not looking at him and went back out to where his weapons were at. He started to strap himself with weapons and started to fill weapons in a duffle to put up in his shed. Back to his old life.

Not looking at him either, Kalore stood up and went past him, waiting in the kitchen for the demon. The demon. Kalore had a feeling that that was how things were going to be. Without allowing that sigh come out, he waited, giving Monty the same indifferent look that everyone got from the elf. It was that look that screamed, "I don't need you." It was something that made people hate and love him, but once you knew that it was an act, it normally just hurt people.

Monty was finished and held his duffle over one shoulder and went to Kalore. "Come." He command and turned towards leaving his warehouse. Things were going to be different, he guessed and well, it was best to not be close to anyone.

Without any nod or anything, Kalore just did his normal aloof motions as he walked behind Monty. He knew that things were going to be different; That those moments of peace between him and Monty were gone. A silent sigh came from Kalore as his facade was broken through by the thought. He didn't want that, but what could he do? Kalore could go on as if this little problem never happened, but from Monty's reactions to things, he didn't think that Monty seemed to be able to. So, because of that, Kalore would just have to find someone else to get close to in the group.

Monty practically ignored Kalore. It seemed to easy to do so. It was...odd. Leading the elf through all the short cuts they made it to Joker's house in record timing. Walking around the house, he pointed to the back door for Kalore. "Go there." He said and entered his shed, slamming it shut and locking it so that he could be in his solitude like he was supposed to. No problems, no babysitting and no Kalore. What a great life he leads.

When the door slammed, Kalore finally just broke, again. Sighing, he looked at the door with a sadness that he hadn't felt since him and Monty had started talking that morning. Unable to get rid of the feeling, Kalore just sighed and become emotionless once again, walking in where he was told to and waiting for whoever was going to attack him first.

Joker came into the kitchen in a bathrobe, piggy slippers and a shower cap on holding up a tennis racket as if ready to attack whoever it was that entered his kitchen. Blinking he looked at Kalore. "I thought you were a burglar." He said, looking slightly sheepish in his outfit. "Good morning. Are you hungry? I just got out of the shower and was ready to make some good home made breakfast.....Sorry, too much information." He started twitching uncontrollably. "I hate this first thing in the morning...." He grumbled with a annoyed face. "First meds for the problems and then coffee for the brain." He started talking to himself, a sign that he was in fact insane but the sanity out of everyone in the group.

Looking up at Kalore he smiled warmly at the elf. "Sorry about that too. My head it's right in the mornings. Please sit down and I'll make you a mean French Vanilla coffee." He said, starting to get giddy at the thought. Another sign of his insanity. "First, I need my meds." He said going to retrive each of the many he had to take.

Looking at Joker, Kalore wasn't fazed by the insanity that he was being shown. Instead he just shook his head and pointed to the sink. Water. He didn't want coffee right now. What Kalore wanted was just to drink some water, find Zaine, see if he could fix this or not, and if he couldn't, get back to Eri with some backup and fix his voice. Once that was done, then Kalore could deal with the Monty issue. But now? Monty was the one that kept him stable with his lack of voice. Monty wasn't there anymore. Why did that hurt more than it should have?
