((Exactly! biggrin Hey...wait a second... stare ))

[lol Yeah...very triumphant! lol]

It was Dorien's turn to blink now. He was getting confused with Magnolia and the image in his mind now. He sighed and shook his head. Our race is small, but there is a chance that they survived... He really doubted it though. And you don't want me your...connection as you say. I wasn't there in your time. Maybe Tyran, the other elf in this city, can help with that. A slender arm reached out for her, a strange movement for the man to do. Come...

--

Tyran looked back at him and said, "I am taking you to her office as we speak..." he then, slowed his pace, nodding lsightly to the guards. He really had no clue as to how he knew where he was going, but a feeling was pulling him there, and he knew it was right. Merlin was his new creator afterall...

((Gotcha! rofl ))

Magnolia looked up at him but was surprised to see his hand. She hesitated only a second then grabbed a hold of him and pulled herself up. She had to hold on tight to keep herself from falling, I'd rather have you. She replied shortly, concentrating on trying to walk again, why was it so hard to walk?

The door opened before they even arrived and stayed open. Merlin was looking over something but looked up when Tyran came in...with a friend.

((Hey, that's not fair! It's two on one! sweatdrop ))

"I see." As Tyran slowed his pace, Quinn did the same. He noted the halls, the pictures, every bit of his surroundings he made sure to take a note of. There was even an odd looking hole in the wall, there for reasons unknown. Know your location for battle before you battle and you can save many problems. Quinn knew that phrase very well.

(( twisted ))

((Oh and there are no guards....it's just a regular hallway with doors....hey cool and pictures. Oh yeah and there's a hole somewhere on the wll, Dorien punched the wall earlier that evening.))

((Fixed my above post. Sorry for making stupid little mistakes. It's going to take me a while to understand my surroundings, as I haven't been in this nearly as long as Brascus has.))

[lol Welcome to Signet City! blaugh ]

I'd rather have you...

Now that was something he had never heard from any sane person before. His eyes widened slightly before they looked at away from her, their gaze going anywhere except for the strange being next to him. Rather have me indeed... he thought , almost bristling at the words. She was crazy. That had to be it... The elf slowly began to walk towards the door, her grip on his arm a small surprise to him as he did so.

--

Tyran slipped inside with a smirk and bowed to her, "My Lady, this man has come to see you..." he said before straightening once again.

((Interesting Welcome, that's for sure. 3nodding ))

Quinn followed Tyran into the office, taking careful, completely silent steps. He walked as if he was a feather on water, making no noise, making no sudden moves, ready to defend himself if necessary. If any noise was heard, it was the clicking of Quinn's staff as he placed it on the ground with each passing step.

"I hope I do not come at an bad time." Quinn gave his opening statement carefully, "I sense a dark aura coming to this place very soon."

He bowed slightly, making sure to keep the ring on his right hand hidden, "My name is Quinn Siddel, and I come here searching for a particular person, and seeking some form of work."

Merlin watched the visitor, she was amused but didn't show it. She peeked her fingers and listened, "What you are feeling is most likely Dorien. He has that affect on others, even when he isn't present. Whom are you looking for? And what kind of work would you accept?"

She was a bit hungry, maybe a bit of food would help her strength. She "voiced" this observation to Dorien who had gone curiously silent. She shrugged it off and concentrated on walking. It seemed she hadn't changed too much, she still remembered herself....and then some.

"I cannot be sure if my good friend was dumb enough to keep his old name." Quinn remarked rather coldly at the mention of the being. Straightening himself out, he pulled his robs around him and leaned on his staff slightly. Fatigue was getting to him after so much travelling, and it was becoming harder to keep that fact hidden. It was not an ideal time for Quinn's tiredness to come through, either, "He was dubbed a traitor by the lycans for promoting peace between them and the Vampires. I've been following trails of him, but most of them have run dry. With it being a place like this, I thought I might be able to get some information. As for work, I'm a Sage of the Elemental Arts. What kind of work would you have for one of my talents?"

Stay awake damnit. Quinn told himself, feeling himself trying to slip away from consciousness. He had to stay awake, and leaned on the staff to keep himself standing.

[I gtg, but I'll be on earlier tomorrow...]

Tyran nodded, folding his arms and closing his eyes slightly. He was regaining his actions from long ago, the quiet elf within him returning. He knew Dorien very well by now, and that effect was only the beginning. Wait Quinn meets the Leader...

--

Dorien looked at her for a moment before walking into the club once again. She may eat if she wanted. He had no say in that. He would merely send her to the kichen and then deal with the annoying emotions Merlin had graciously given back to him.

She could smell his exhaustion and she stood sighing, "We will discuss this later. Right now, you need rest. Tyran, since I havn't assigned you a room, I shall do so now along with our guest, Quinn." She swept out of her office and down the hall turning the corner, stopping at a door and opening. It was a room like everyone elses...except Monaleth's and Merlin's, of course, "Rest up for the night." She advised Quinn then left him to it, "Tyran." She said, moving back towards her office, she gave him the room near her office, "And this is for you."

Magnolia smiled up at Dorien when he dropped her at the kitchen. She spotted herself in teh mirror and stiffened. She wasn't so hot about the white hair and circlet....and dress? She really wished she could go back to the way she was. She jumped and let out a small surprised noise when her white hair darkened to it's smoky brown color and her dress and circlet disappeared, replaced by the clothes she'd been wearing. She sighed, "Better..."

Despite his obvious need for sleep, Quinn was able to keep in toe with Lady Merlin quite easily. He didn't say a word, not thinking that he needed to. When they reached the room, he bowed slightly to show his thanks and then stepped insde. There wasn't anything special about the room really, just four walls and a bed.

"How quaint." Quinn said to himself, mocking the room in a way. It would be the first night he had spent in a bedroom for quite some time.

He walked over to the bed and climbed onto it. Situating himself carefully, he leaned up against the wall, staff in hand, so that he could see the door, and anything that may choose to come through it. Within just a few seconds Quinn was in a state of meditation, as close to sleep as one could get without actually sleeping.

Tyran followed without a reply, smiling slightly as he studied the room. He nodded and lowered his head once again, "I thank you again m'Lady, but there is one thing I need to ask of you. What shall hapen to me now? Concerning the Lotus I mean..." he said, raising his arm. The Lotus symbols still glowed brightly upon it.

--

Dorien sighed, annoyance clear on his face as he took his arm back. She looked human...again. Of all the beings she could have become, why this human? It was weak, not better. He turned around and began to walk off in his usual pace, pretty sure her weak legs wouldn't get her far at the moment as he rounded a corner. He needed to think, and the image of...her..was driving to end. So many milleniums and I find one of the last surviving members of her line... he growled before closing his eye and leaned against the wall. He felt the music surround him once again as he felt those annoying emotions once again. I must find a new vessel soon, or the Separation will prove harder than it should be...

--

Lina continued walking through the city, the aura's she had felt earlier still fresh in her mind as she entered the entertainment district. Two of them she knew very well, but the third....it couldn't possibly be who she thought it was. He was still locked in Moneko's spell...wasn't he? She frowned slightly, her eyes narrowing slightly.

The Nocturne's doors opened, and allowed the brother and sister Sullas to walk through. A few people glanced their way, but made nothing of it as they passed the bouncers and went up the stairs, a silver haired man in the lead and a pale blonde in tow.

Their gazes were calm, although a hint of excited flashed through the older male's. This was what usually could be seen in from Tien, from the outside of course. The inside was something not even his sister had figured out yet...something, far worse than what he portrayed.

The pale blonde on the other hand, kept her neutral gaze throughout their walk, even when they left the stairs and headed into the hallway. Tara had this calm all throughout her life, even though the hell that she's been through would make it seem otherwise. Maybe it was her Empathic abilities that kept her so calm. Or was it something else?

Soft footsteps could be heard as Monaleth walked towards the kitchen, her eyes locking onto Dorien for a momet as they passed before closing. His image was still in her brain as the light shined through her eyelids. What was he doing here? He didn't eat... she thought before her eyes opened and their darkblue gaze found Magnolia. Ah...that's why...
