((Happy belated Birthday, Merc!!!!))
Mairyela heard the click of the womans tongue and wanted nothing more than to wipe the smug attitude clear off the woman. What an arrogance! Never had she seen it so bad in one person before, not even kings! She felt rather than saw the woman pass her by, but she could not trace the scents of her Warders.
Pretending to once again be interested in the tapestry - though she had to admit it was incredibly fine work - she waited until the two Warders also passed her by before turning her attention back to the three. She saw Markis coming up along the hallway towards them. She then had to fight to keep her Aes Sedai calm as Markis walked right into Aiken. She watched with increased interest. What was Markis up to?

Zeara could still not believe her luck. Who would have thought it would be so easy? She felt as though something was finally going right for once in her life. She deserved it, after all the mud she had had to dig through to get where she was. Of course using her fathers vast fortune to rub people the right way also helped, though here money was as worthless as ones social class. Village farmer to noblewoman, everyone was the same...in a sense.
Passing by the end of the tapestry, she noticed a Warder coming down the hall. She paid him no mind; simply another warrior at the Towers disposal. She passed the man without another glance and continued on. Suddenly she heard the stumbling of feet behind her and glanced back, The block of a man had walked into Aiken, as though he had not seen the Warder. What kind were the Tower recruiting these days? Fools?
Aiken`s eyes were still as dead as the day she had first seen them, and no emotion ran through them as he stumbled back and away from the other man. His narrowed eyes were the only signs of irritation.
"It seems you were busy daydreaming, friend." Aikens voice was as cold as ice, and held nothing she could call life. "Please be more careful next time."
Zeara held her breath. She had never seen him react in any type of way, not even during the kill. He was a monster among men, and once again she cursed her bad luck that had gotten her paired up with him. It had been her fathers wishes, not hers, but for his honor and to keep her life, she had agreed. She suddenly feared for the man that she did not know.

Dragon Hawk ((Happy b-day Maya, So how young are you smile . )) Hawk meet her gaze and her slightly irratated face. So that's whats bothering her, he thought. She had let her grasp off her serene mask but their bond is still close. Dont you ever get tired of closing our bond to each other? he asked her plainly. It seems as if you dont want me to protect you. He dont know why he too suddenly feel a bit of the irratation on the air. About the corridor, i just remember of the old times, nothing important.
She knew the stupidity of the words as she said them. So what if it was the Tower? It wasn't as if no one or nothing had never attacked her there before. In fact, incidents of those kind were commoner than one would expect.
"Old times? What old times?" she asked, plainly curious.

Markis could have been a statue for all the response he gave. He seemed to particularly not care for what the other man had said. He watched Aiken's eyes, his scent. Zeara's scent was changing swiftly, from irritation to surprise, then to resignation, and finally fear. Fear not for herself, but more for him. He ignored the urge to snort derisively. Aiken on the other hand did not react. His voice had an icy tone, but having been around Hawk and other Gaidin, Markis was unfazed. The tone was secondary nature to Warders. No sign of any change in his eyes, nor his scent. Perhaps a little more probing. His face broke into a thin smile, which looked half forced, half sarcastic. As Markis intended. "Well, it would seem that there is a difference of opinion. Some might say that it wasn t me that was busy, but yourself. In which case, I could also ask you to be more careful as well. Although, perhaps I could ask it anyway, because you are mistaken to say that I was daydreaming, and so therefore you're mistaken in asking me to apologize. In fact, I will ask it of you. Well?" There was a tone of demand in his voice, that was plain for all to hear. He did not intend to leave the man alone until he got his apology-an apology which was clearly unmerited and unnecessary. He cocked his head, waiting. ((Bwahaha...its so much fun being able to puppet Wolf and do his rebellious attitude bit!))

((Better late than never they say, so good luck on your exams Maya. I've been busy playing Battle Of The Immortals lately, you guys and gals maybe want to try it sometime, its quite addictive though, the platform is like WoW.))
