Monty heard the knock but the water was beating in his ear's. If he had the awesome hearing of the elves then he would have long heard Kalore coming closer but he didn't. He did have good hearing but to any extent and not as uber awesome as the elves.
Anyways, he didn't pay attention to it and punched the wall with his uninjured hand to alievate his self loathing. Some would think that this demon was nuts and run away or call him out on getting some serious help but that wasn't it. He had a temper and if he held it back too long bad things could happen, like redirecting it on someone who never saw it coming or deserved it. He didn't want to do that on Kalore when they left.

Jumping again, Kalore looked concerned in the bathroom but he wasn't stupid enough to enter it. He sighed and knocked louder on the door, hoping that Monty heard him but didn't kill him. What the hell is he doing in there?! He's gonna hurt himself... Kalore knew that worrying about a demon's health was a stupid thing to do, but he found himself getting close to him. That wasn't something that he wanted, but there wasn't anything he could really do about it.

Hearing the knock this time, he looked over his shoulder's at the door. Tilting his head to the side, the lightly shut off and everything was swamped in total darkness. The shower was still on and he didn't move. Opening the door with his mind he let it fully open so that Kalore could look in but not see him in the shower and the violently dented wall in front of him.

Kalore twitched at the sudden darkness, mouthing out nervously, even though he didn't think that Monty could see it, "Hey, sorry for this... It's improper, I know... I heard something and it sounded pretty bad. Are you okay?" Kalore didn't like it when he couldn't see. It was bad enough that he couldn't talk, not being able to see was just horrible. Gulping slightly, he had his arms crossed, Kalore leaned against the door, edging back out just in case Monty decided to attack or something.

Monty blinked at Kalore. "You know, it's dangerous to be here, Kalore." He said, simply. No he wasn't going to attack Kalore. He was a a**hole but not THAT much of one. Especially since Kalore wasn't armed or aware of anything going on in the dark. "I don't know what you said Kalore. You may turn the lights on next to you." He said. The demon could see perfectly in the dark but the elf didn't need to know that.

The elf quickly turned the light on, obviously happy to be able to see. "I know, and I'm sorry for coming in here." He looked at Monty but it wasn't in a perverted way, locking eyes with him only. Kalore respected people much more than that. "What I said was that I heard something and came in to check it... I didn't plan on coming in here, but I heard it again." His look went to a concerned one. "Are you okay?"

Nodding slowly, Monty ran a hand through his wet hair, showing his brusied and bloodly knuckles and turned the water off. Easily reaching for the towel he place near him, he wrapped it around his waist and turned to face Kalore. "I'm fine." He said with a blank look. He was fine to an extent. What extent that was he didn't know. "Is there anything you need?" He asked, being the ever perfect host.

Eyes wide, Kalore took two long strides to be right in front of him. "What the hell happened?!" Looking at the hand, Kalore's eyes went to Monty's, noticing that he was inches away from the demon but not focusing on that. "Is that what I was hearing?" He looked at Monty's bloodied knuckle, green eyes filled with worry. Did I cause that?

Monty tilted his head to the side again and watched Kalore. Did the elf care or was this a act? If it was a act it was a really good one. He had the towel securely wrapped around his waist and showed him his other hand that was even more bruised and bloodly. "That is what you heard. I was punching the wash." It had felt pretty damn good to hit something hard and feel the pain from it without feeling the regret of it.

Head snapping to look at Monty, Kalore looked shocked. "Are you insane?! I know you've got a high pain tolerance, obviously, but don't you have a punching bag? You could have seriously damaged your hand, Monty... Or the wall..." He risked looking over Monty's shoulder and slapped his own forehead. "Never mind... The wall needs a funeral..." No, this wasn't an act. Kalore honestly did care about the demon that had given him more headaches than anything else ever had.

Furrowing his brows, Monty took his hands away and hid them behind his back. "The punching bag would have been broken in mere seconds and the wall is the only thing that doesn't break that easily." He looked over his shoulder at the wall and then at Kalore. "I'll be sure to bring the wall flowers and say a few parting words." If the demon had the ability to smile fully and laugh wholeheartedly, he would have at this moment but he didn't. He looked serious but really he was slowly calming down and his mind clearing.

Kalore laughed, "You should." Finally looking at how close he was, Kalore felt himself actually get a little pink. "Um..sorry again about this..." But he didn't move, still not wanting to leave Monty. He knew that the demon was probably sick of him and that the kiss probably meant nothing. 'Even when he kissed you back and kissed you that last time?' 'Yeah...even then...I'm sure of it...' He didn't like thinking that way, but what was Kalore supposed to do?

Tilting his head slightly, he looked at him like a predator does at his soon to be prey. "It's very dangerous for you to be here like this Kalore." He said softly, not moving away. "Why do you say sorry for everything? Haven't you ever stop and wonder that I'm the one that needs to tell you sorry all the time?" He asked equally soft.

Still standing there, Kalore locked eyes with him and sighed. "I apologize because normally I do something that causes you discomfort. I..." He sighed and looked down, mouthing out, "And, I know this seems to be dangerous... But I don't mind..." Kalore didn't look up, afraid that he probably made Monty mad or something.

"You didn't cause that. I did. I'm the one who hurt myself because of me, not you. You are not causing me anything." Perhaps causing him to feel again but he couldn't think that. "I'm the one who should apologize." He lightly lifted his hand to touch Kalore's chin and lifted it so that the elf could look at the demon. "I'm sorry. I'm not good at this thing." He said honestly.
