Edmond nodded and turned towards the left. He proceeded down the alleyway silently. Without any important conversation starters he felt like speaking with Rosie would feel like an interrogation to her so he figured silence was better. Besides when he had to adjust the direction they were going she would tell him.

"We can talk all about that on the way there, as well as finding a nice place to snag some outfits for the both of us. If Gotham is anything like it used to be, there should be a small outfitters store between here and the Iceberg Lounge." He looked at her green eyes and saw her excitement for the job.
He smiled and put his helmet back on. "Now let's get going already. I'm tired of standing around."

Rosie remained quiet as the Count walked as well. She didn't really have anything she wanted to say, and she didn't really want to start thinking about anything other than finding her house. The man said things would be fine so... that's what she needed to content herself with. After a decent way's walk, the little one perked up a bit in the Count's arms. "There!" she said, pointing towards the rooftops. "That's Phi.... erm... that's one of the creepy little gargoyles I see a lot. Our house should be just on the other side of this corner." she said. Probably sounded stupid to say that she named the creepy little statue hanging over the corner of the bank they were passing by. "Just need to go around, then cut into the alley way. It opens up into a big yard that's full of broken bits of building. Think it's where other buildings were smooshed into each other and the city sort of just dumped them all in one spot. Or... it's from some of the other buildings. They're kind of falling apart since half of the street is gone. One place is only like half of a store."

"Good." The Count didn't respond with many words. He had noticed that she was about to say a name when referring to the gargoyle but he didn't want to pester her about it. She had corrected herself meaning it was likely something she thought was silly.
Knowing their destination was close Edmond picked up his walking speed a little bit. When they arrived at the corner he turned the corner and proceeded forward a little. "Do you know what happened to the people in the buildings when they smashed together?" Edmond asked out of curiosity as he turned into Crime Alley.

Angelica responded to Red Hood by adhering her mask on, nodding, "Sounds good. You lead, and I'll follow. Oh, when we get to where we can change into business style civies, do we have transportation to the Lounge. It would look kinda odd, if we arrive by cab or bus." Cold Doubt If this new location is still in 'Gotham', we'll continue in this forum. When we change locales, like 'Surrounding Area of Gotham' or the Iceberg Lounge', we'll move our characters over with an [Exit (hero name) to (new location)] and in the other forum [Enter (hero name) from (last location)]

Jason spoke to her as he came up with a fun idea.. well, fun in his mind. "you know what, you're right." He smirked under his helmet as he continued. "I think I know a guy who can help us with our transportation, and also maybe donate some formal attire to our cause."
He turned and started walking slowly towards the edge of the building. He was about 4 feet from the edge when he spoke, "It's about high time we visited Wayne Manor."
Saying that,he took two large steps to gain momentum and jumped, rolling onto the rooftop of the adjacent building. Quickly getting up without delay, he continued running.

gaia_nitemareleft Draegon gaia_nitemareright ~ ~ ~ ~ ~Okay boredom was really starting to get to her. Her being bored was bad, very bad. Usually something was broken. Sometimes it's a lamp or a person or a building. Doesn't matter. As long as her destructive nature entertained Iris then she didn't care. Anything was better than being bored, burning things is her favorite way of quenching her need for entertainment. So question was, what to burn? "Let's see... People, stores, cars... Ooooo I could put a car in a store then light it ablaze! Let's make it a garage actually. All that gasoline and oil will make nice fire and explosions," she babbled to herself. As said previously, she was bored. So what if she talked to herself? It wasn't a big deal or anything. Lots of people talk to themselves. Draegon's black wings gently took her down onto the street, for night it was rather busy. Car tires squealed as people tried to avoid hitting her. There were only two cars that crashed. The red head selected a car and headed towards it. She had her costume on so no one would be able to report her for the damage that was about to be caused. She pulled the unfortunate wretch from his vehicle and tossed his to the side almost like a rag doll. There were only a few broken bones and maybe some fractured ribs. He would live. Iris lit the inside of the vehicle on fire and put it through the window of a store. She was too lazy to find a car garage. The fire was too slow so Draegon helped it a little. By setting the store on fire too. Most people by now had fled screaming and may cars were abandoned. Oh well. Looks like she would be enjoying the show alone. Well you could include some of the people inside, but they were part of it. Iris folded her wings and climbed onto a van swinging her legs as she watched the burning store. It wouldn't be long until the gas tank would be affected. Then it would be boom time! Boom time, that was kind of fun to say... Or think... Or do. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~♪ Theme Song♫

Chaotic Fire demon The third paragraph is where he starts interacting with your character. Everything else is setup for a different problem he is working on.
The Count came out of Crime Alley and went directly to the Dantes Law Firm. He found the building locked as he had left it so he opened the front doors and stepped inside before locking them once again. Edmond took the stairs up to the top floor where his office resided. In a hurry Edmond entered his office and shut the door before going to his computer. He plugged his phone in then uploaded all the recent files to the computer. His search program was almost complete but in the time he had Edmond restocked. After entering a code into his computer, scanning his thumbprint on the scanner hidden in the drawer of his desk, and saying "Pride comes before the fall." to pass a voice recognition test, all the hidden compartments in his office popped open, false walls slid back revealing his arsenal of arrows and his various costumes and props for disguises. Far more was revealed than when Emily had been in the office because he didn't exactly have full trust in her ability to keep secrets. He flipped on the TV in his office to the camera footage he was tapped into all across the city and took a quick glance before returning to the main goal of arming himself. Edmond emptied out the arrows in his quiver and began filling it again. He prioritized the quiver with arrows he felt would be the most useful to him in the immediate future. All things considered it was a rather large variety of arrows that he picked. It was then that his search program was completed. Edmond turned his head to see the location that had popped up on the screen and a grin spread across his face when he saw the irony in Joker's choice of hideout. Edmond hated to admit it but some of the things the Joker had done were funny in a very cruel way.
With his weaponry assembled, and the Count turned his attention to his costume. Edmond took off his mask and tossed it onto his desk. It felt good to feel the slightly cool air on his face. He hadn't taken the mask off for a long time and his face had begun to feel squished. However his feeling of freedom was ended when he took another mask from his collection, this one both bulletproof and fitted with a voice filter that altered the tone of his voice to a muck lower and gravelly one without him putting any actual effort into it, and put it on. Edmond then looked at the security camera footage again to find that a fire had been started somewhere in the city. After finding the exact location of the fire he phoned the Fire Department and reported it, however that was not the full extent of what actions he planned to take. The Count grabbed a few more arrows and put them in a secondary quiver on the back of his belt. He threw his hood on and locked up the Law Firm again before taking off across the rooftops of the city.
When Edmond arrived at the fire he could tell that he should have responded sooner. Most of the store had been engulfed in flames and the fire was still spreading. That was when the Count spotted the gas tank. He immediately shot it with a liquid nitrogen tipped arrows cooling the tank enough to buy time but at this point he could not stop it from blowing up. Then he went to work. The Count rushed into the fire, glad to see there were surprisingly few people actually inside. Most had gotten out or run away by now. He ushered out the few who remained with varying amounts of difficulty. Some wouldn't leave alone, some wouldn't leave with others and some couldn't move because the fire had burnt their feet and they couldn't stand a little pain. However once Edmond got everyone out of the fire they began helping each other get away from it. The gas tank became less of a problem. However fires like this in Gotham were rarely an accident and so the Count began looking around for the one who had started the blaze figuring that if he did not find that person, they would find him.

gaia_nitemareleft Draegon gaia_nitemareright ~ ~ ~ ~ ~The fire was indeed delightful for the female but she still had some boredness lingering in her mind, where were the cops? They were fun, they tried to fight her. She chuckled a little remembering her first time meeting them, the guns had confused her greatly at first. Iris yawned and brought her legs up onto the van folding them criss-cross when something caught her eye. Someone was moving in the fire retrieving those who were in it. "Well now, who is this," she murmured and jumped off the vehicle her golden eyes flickering about. The fire seemed to leap and dance as it abandoned the building and swirled around her before it was absorbed. Now where did that strange person go, the one who was playing hero or whatever. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~♪ Theme Song♫

The Count spent only a small measure of time in the open where Draegon would have been able to see him before he noticed that the fire seemed to be flowing in a particular direction away from the building. In response he ducked into an alleyway where he ran two steps up the wall before pushing off it to grab a windowsill on the adjacent building. He then pulled his body up to grab the top of that windowsill before he leapt back across the alley and onto the original building's rooftop. Once he was on the roof he darted across the surface until he could see exactly where the fire was going. What he saw, and was not very surprised by, was a girl in a black and red outfit. The Count notched an arrow with a liquid nitrogen tip and took aim at Draegon. Habits told him he should issue some kind of warning but the fact she seemed to control fire told him it was better just to attack so he released the bowstring sending the arrow flying across the space between them towards Draegon's legs. A target that would not be lethal if it was hit.

gaia_nitemareleft Draegon gaia_nitemareright ~ ~ ~ ~ ~The female huffed annoyed spinning on her heel as she tried to search for the masked person. The flames were gone making the area much darker, which made it harder for her to detect anyone. Draegon really should have kept the flames to light up the area more. That way she would have been able to notice any one moving about. She did have keen senses though, better than that of humans, and that would be helpful. Iris heard something and spun quickly in the opposite direction of which she had been previously. Her hand cut through the air just and flames did as well seeming to appear from no where. They created like a barrier causing the arrow to go off course and her legs were safe. Draegon looked up at the direction of where it came from the flames disappearing once more. "Really, was that necessary," she asked in a tone like one might address with a child. She bent down picking up the arrow by the fetching and examining it. Iris couldn't help but admire the work in it, this was a way better weapon then guns. Though easier to deflect or dodge. The female looked up at the attacker and arched an eyebrow as if asking him what he planned to do next. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~♪ Theme Song♫

The Count had notched another arrow by the time Draegon deflected the first. However this time he just aimed it. In his mind she could clearly stop the arrows, so he needed an arrow that would still be effective even after she stopped it. That was why the arrow he had notched had an explosive on the end. Even if she did stop it and use the fire produced from the blast as a weapon there would still be impact to hurt her. "Was the fire necessary?" The Count shouted to her. The voice filter in his mask produced a low and gravely tone instead of his normal voice. He pulled the bowstring back to give the arrow more speed when and if he released it. Clearly she could block the arrow, but how fast could she do it?

gaia_nitemareleft Draegon gaia_nitemareright ~ ~ ~ ~ ~Iris paused and dropped the arrow. Her golden eyes stared up at him mostly focused on the other arrow. He wasn't seriously going to attempt shooting her again was he? That would just be embarrassing. She stuck out her tongue like a child as he spoke practically rephrasing her question. "Don't patronize me! I couldn't reach the arrow and I was too lazy to dodge," the female said and folded her arms across her chest. Draegon was torn on what to do, she could attack him or leave. She wouldn't get anything out of fighting him, besides entertainment. She in no way needed another enemy, she had enough of those. Still, Draegon was bored and her entertainment was on a rooftop in plain view. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~♪ Theme Song♫

"You started a fire that nearly killed a dozen people. I will patronize you if I want to." The Count tried to mirror her childishness but he couldn't do it justice. He had only waited so long because he was unsure of what to do. If he did attack her and he lost the fight he wouldn't be able to get to the Joker and do what he promised Rosie he would but if he left this woman on the streets she may end up hurting more people. So he didn't compromise. He did what he always had said he would. Edmond chose to protect the city he was in. The Count sent the explosive arrow soaring at Draegon before notching another arrow and firing it directly at the ground. When the second arrow hit the ground a massive smokescreen deployed around Edmond. He slid off the rooftop and down into an alleyway. The Count could still see Draegon but he was hoping she had lost sight of him when the smoke screen was deployed.
