((Alright...but I don't really like the sound of it... sweatdrop ))
Quinn, one to note detail without the use of any Racial Telepathy, noticed the change in the tone of the young boy's eyes. Upon making note of the change, he took felt a dark aura. Quinn shuddered, not liking the feeling. It was a truly, giving Quinn chills beyond belief.
"Well, for now that is all I will say." Quinn finally answer Tyran, "Please do not be offended, but it is a safety measure."

The woman made Magnolia smile, I'm glad I still affect you so. Magnolia's memories are in teh pendant, just as she thought. They were subdued so that she wouldn't have to suffer. The Western Kingdom, Magnolia's birthplace was attacked by the North. They were getting a bit....greedy. Her mother sent her away so she wouldn't be taken and she's been living in the human world ever since. Things have settled but the wars that ensued were quite terrible, that's why oru kind are so little, they killed each other. It was embarassing....behaving just like humans. That was when she was five years of age. I wasn't able to help, I was....away.
Magnolia looked away then the woman made her sigh, I just need you to activate the pendant, just give it a little brush with your power. I don't mean that dark mumbo jumbo you like using. Your raw power, just a bit. The pendant will handle the rest.
She paused, She's got my eyes, doesn't she? I think she's adorable! She probably bothers you just like I do, doesn't she? She made Magnolia wink cheekily at him.

Elves acting like humans...what a long fall our kind has had. We both were away..you know this.
He held back a small growl before looking back at her, Spiritual energy. You want me to waste that on you? Why should I? Oh, he was beginning to enjoy himself..
...Until she started playing around again. Dorien actually did growl, tempted to just end this vessels life for that voice to leave. That she does, which only makes me want her death to be slow, as I want yours to be. He raised his hand and waved it over the pendant, sending an invisible aura into it. It is done....

An image of the woman he so despised appeared, transparent beside Magnolia, she tilted her head and gave him a sunny smile before disappearing. An instant later Magnolia collapsed physically, falling ot her hands and knees, gritting her teeth, bearing the very unusual sensation running through her body. As she sat there her smoky brown curls turned very white and her clothes shifted froma shirt pants and wind breaker to a green dress with a high bodice and long skirt. On her head, appeared a very simple circlet with three green stones set in the front.
Magnolia stayed in that position for a minute, waiting for the tingling to go out of her figers and toes before she sat back on her heels. She had to tilt her head back quite far to look at him. Her face was largely unchanged, her eyes were a more intense green, seeming to glow a bit. She slowly put her hands to her ears which were hidden under her main of now white hair and flinched when she touched the newly pointed cartilage, Dorien?

Oh, how he hated her at the moment. She was the spitting image of the woman in her mind. Dorien immediateky cut off the mental energy between them and the darkness around them disappeared. The wind had died down and left an eerie silence as the Leader turned around.
It is done. he said, his voice lifeless as he began to walk towards the roof entrance. You are free..

Magnolia blinked after him and tried to get up. Her legs were like overcooked noodles and she fell, letting out a soft exclamation, she glared at her legs, Are you going away? She asked finally.

Dorien stopped, the noise around then almost lowering on cue as if said, Never. Never again. he said, his fists tightening as he lowered his head slightly. The eeire silnce only grew as he stood there, looking at the entrance of the Nocturne with cold eyes. Do you remember all of it now? Your life back then....your family?

He turned slightly, his own white hair falling behind he as she spoke. Why shouldn't I? You got what you wanted didn't you? He trailed off though, and walked towards her. You kept part of your soul in this pendant...why did you do this? You can live longer than any living being on this planet and yet you...went into your own Slumber. Like I did. Why? There was a small edge to his voice, nothing that most would note, but it was there. Why did you do it?

Magnolia blinked at him, I didn't do anything. Mother did it. She didn't want me to remember that I lost everythign in one night. She wanted me to be happy again with only the hope of coming back to go back on the throne. I was only five years old at the time. I didn't know such complex magic as this. She hugged herself, I see why she did it, I don't know what's become of my mother or my father, or anyone else I loved! I don't want you to go. You're the one who wanted this more than me....But....you're the only connection I have....to home. She looked like she was going to start crying again.

Lady Merlin... Quinn thought to himself, That name doesn't sound correct. She might not be the one that I was told to seek out.
"I'll have to judge that when I meet her." Quinn replied, somewhat void of emotion, "When might that be?"
Straightforward and to the point, Quinn wasn't used to acting like this. It had been a long time since he had any contact with other people. He spent a lot of his time alone, not caring much for outside contact.
