[I looked down at Brokensoul, my brilliant green eyes narrowed in something quite close to disgust. I wrinkled my nose slightly and looked away, thinking]
"Nothing really. Everything seems quiet. Something's bound to happen soon"
[That was my outlook on life. Nothing stayed happy and peaceful for long. Are all the Clans at peace? Nothing bad roaming the territories, picking off kits and warriors? Just wait, everything will begin to fall apart. It was a cycle, and recent events did nothing to change my mind. Then Songkit distracted me. I always had a soft spot for kits. I noticed the chill in the air and the snow on the ground, and wrapped my silky tail around the kit, wanting to keep her warm. I nudged Swansong playfully and crouched down so I was eye level with Songkit]
"Now Songkit, why would you want to be friends with a smelly ol' tom like Swansong?" I meowed teasingly, "Wouldn't you much rather have a she-cat friend like me? One you can gossip with and tell all your secrets too?"
[As I meowed these words, I felt a sudden ache in my chest. Songkit reminded me of my kithood. I didn't have any friends as a kit, or as an apprentice who were the same gender as me. All the she-kits avoided or ignored me. I don't know if they were jealous or just cold, but I was alone, except for my always-constant male company, but they couldn't replace all the girls talks and gossip sessions that I had missed out on. Even having Foxfur as a best friend didn't help. And I didn't want the same thin to happen to Songkit, or anyone else]

Then she remembered it.]
" I was going to ask you too Willowheart, but I couldn't see you in the crowd.
I'm so short I couldn't see you. "
[Songkit's eyes stopped sparkling and filled with curiosity. She looked up at the cats.]
" ... So.. What do you say? "

xxxxxxxxxxThe silent and misunderstood warrior of NightClan. [My ears flicked slightly as Songkit asked for me to e her friend. I felt something in my chest make a clicking feeling. Aww! I thought without thinking. This was horrible! The kit was asking friendship of a warrior like me. And not some other kit like one of the others. I smiled weakly.
Without hesitation, I, the mute, kit hating tom, nodded. My ears flicked as Willowheart teased me playfully. I laughed silently, flicking the she-cat with my tail. A breeze cut through the clearing once more, and my tail coiled around my paws once more in a protective fashion. It was getting cold.]

[Vanitykit paused as Forsaken's head moved and gripped his head gently, trying not to fly off his head. She muttured something incomprehensibly and shifted on his head, returning to smacking his ears.
She felt tiredness wash over her and after a couple of licks on his ear, she fell asleep.
Cravekit and Bitterkit squeaked angrily when the tail did not move and smacked it again, their noses twitching expectantly.
Irekit hissed as his opponent was gone. He snorted, slightly confused because of his closed eyes and the thing holding him, and looked around. He heard a voice and pricked his ears. He hissed pointedly at the figure behind him.]
"H-sh-shu'up!" he snarled, barely forming the words. (( Shut up))
[He slapped and wiggled a few times before plopping on the ground and scuttling over to his mother. He hid behind her belly like a fort but peeked out at Forsaken, staring at him with closed eyes and twitching his nose.] ═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire
because some liar
told me he loved me
and I thought he was you.
Let me keep one thing near;
the heart that bonds us, my dear
o o o
For if I sleep at end of day
I find your shadow fades away ...I cannot sleep in fear of how
the darkness holds two shadows now.

[Forsaken felt sorrow as it lifted Blood's kit and placed him away from the rest.] Who am i kidding. This is exactly what Blood wanted. He told me himself. I was a medicine cat, i never planed to care for kits, just bring them into the world. [The demon looked down upon Avaricekit to see his little face smile up at it and crawl over to it's side. Forsaken narrowed it's eyes and smiled unconsciously. Despite it's distant for their father the demon could not help but return the kitten's love, a feeling that had been lost to it for as long as it could remember. Forsaken gently lulled Avaricekit to sleep with it's purring.
The playful mews of the confused kittens reminded Forsaken to twitch it's tail. The cold tail suddenly came to life, dancing and trashing about uncontrollably. Forsaken smiled slyly as Irrekit muttered his first semi understandable mew as he hobbled over to his mother.] Interesting firs words. kekekek [The dark spirit rested it's eyes upon Puresun as she rested silently, wising it could keep her warm from the snow. It's heart slowly began to beat, a beat that was full of life, just like it had been when Forsaken itself was alive.]
Hmmmmm, obnoxious beating is different then usual. [Forsaken nussled it's chest to feel a warm patch. The worst had happened. The spot that Leopardstorm had touched had been purified, giving the hart it's rightful place back. Forsaken snarled and placed it's head on it's front, clawed paws.] I should have known better then to have made a deal with a starclan warrior. Nothing but trouble. I doubt the beating will ever go away. What will become of me now? [The demon felt it's fur, it still had the cold touch as it did before, only the chest produced heat. Forsaken's ears folded back.] "This will be difficult to fix..."

[I slowly opened my eyes. My sleep had been long and dreamless, or so it seemed to me. I glanced over to see Irekit sitting at my belly, tucking his face in my pelt. I blinked and saw something twitch around far away and saw Bitterkit and Cravekit chasing it wildly. It took me a few moments to realize it was a shadowy thing that was portruding from the ground. Forsaken's tail...? I wondere.
I snickered inwardly and thought, I didn't know he could do that.
Something warm pressed on my back. I turned my head and stared at a wall of Forsaken's fur. Peering up at him and back donw to the spot, I scrunched my face up.
What...?
I blew it off as a kitten having just moved from there, and looked around. I saw Avaricekit on Forsaken's back, but where was-
Something suddenly plopped on my face and I flinched, letting out a sharp gasp. The thing tumbled down to my paws, dazed. I stared at Vanitykit then snorted a bit. She had fell off Forsaken's head! The little kitten shrugged off the dizzyness and immediately trekked back up to his head, re-claiming her spot.
All this kittenish activity made a light pur drum through me. The fact that they were my kittens added a special warmth to the happy feeling.
And, secretly, to myself, I pretended Forsaken was the father.
Oddly enough, he was playing the part well.
Cravekit squealed as the tail finally moved, and Bitterkit immediately attatched herself to it, waving in the air with the tail. Cravekit chased the tail while Bitterkit was dragged by it, and after a few hilarious moments the two siblings finally pinned it down, nipping at it excitedly with their little tails waving.] ═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire

[Forsaken lifted it's head and smiled slyly in greeting when Puresun had awoke from her deep sleep. The demon felt slightly embarrassed to be seen with kittens crawling allover it as it's fur rose slightly, trying not to purr too loudly. Almost instinctively Forsaken burred it's warm chest into the cold snow as if to put out the heat.] "Sleep well? Hopefully better then me. ekekekekek"
[An odd feeling of peace washed over the demon. At that moment, Forsaken wished that the whole world was as beautiful as her. Forsaken flinched when Vanitykit suddenly slipped off of it's head and them fumbled back up over it's face. The demon made a muffled noise as the kitten's fuzzy form covered it's face.]
"Careful, that was my eye." Do these kits EVER sleep? [The demon thought to itself with a somewhat tired look in it's red eyes. From the depth's of the demon's mind Forsaken could hear the thoughts of it's apprentice Slasher calling it. The demon looked off into the distance, it's tail twitching at a steady pace.]
Slasher, i will be there, wait for me...

[Cravekit and Bitterkit somehow simultaneously figured out that the tail was an extension of the big figure thing behind their mother. They turned and charged at it together. The wiggled and launched themselves at Forsaken recklessly, stomping over to his back. They followed the scent of their sister on his head, tumbling over Avaricekit, and began playfully attacking his face, wiggling excitedly. Irekit snorted at them from his mother's belly.
I couldn't help but giggle at the sight of my little kittens bombarding his face. Purring, I flopped my head back on the ground.]
"Looks like you got some new rivals," I commented cheerfully.
[The kittens smacked his face excitedly, claws sheathed, their noses twitching in excitement.] ═══════════════════════ ...my belly is on fire

[Avaricekit felt the weight of his brothers and sisters stomping over him as he was jolted from a deep sleep. He let out a squeak of alarm, rolling off of Forsaken once more. He struggled to his paws, curiosity sparking in his face. Avaricekit's ears twitched, trying to make sense of the world around him. All he could hear were noises; some cries, and some high-pitched squeaks one could only guess to be laughter coming from above him. His ears flicked. They sounded somewhat amused by something.
A rhythmic sound caught the small almost solid white kit, something that sounded like some sort of beat. Thu-thump. Thu-thump. Thu-thump. Thu-thump. it toned soothingly. Avaricekit smiled, sitting down next to Forsaken. His nose twitched a few times, and he rasped his tongue across his own paw. With a gentle sigh, he strayed away from Forsaken's side, his black tail wiggling in a dog-like fashion. He let out a gleeful squeak, bouncing up and down a few times.
A cold sensation underfoot made him freeze, his fur bristling. Cold creeped up his legs, sending a shiver down his spine. He squeaked in alarm. Cold, cold, cold! his nerves cried until he was away from the fluffy stuff he had stepped in. His paws warmed up a little as he padded further into the bare patch of land he had been on previously.
He soon became aware of a presence beside him, making his whiskers twitch excitedly. It rhythmically swished through the air and carried the scent of Father. Avaricekit rasped his tongue across his mouth, and rolled over, batting at the tail (Forsaken's tail) above him. He squeaked gleefully, his claw retracted.]

To hold back the tears until it's closing time[Rabbitkit stood up. He would have to go see Hauntedheart. He started limping toward the medicine cat den. His eyes stayed on his twisted right paw, staring at it accusingly as pain radiated through it. It was killing him! He snorted. He could probably ask for some poppy seeds for his paw or something.
The tom peeked into the somewhat quiet den, trying to spot auntedheart. He could see her in the back of the den. He cleared his throat the best he could.] "Er...Hauntedheart? I think I'm sick," [he meowed in the clearest voice he could manage (which was no stronger than a harsh whisper. He tried to clear his throat some more, but gave up after minute of hoarse coughing.]
[ooc:] It's whitecough, by the way..... -w- I survived, I'm still alive
But I'm getting close to the borderline Making sure Memories sawed this.... :3

"kekekekekeke" I sure hope not [Forsaken thought in response. ] But then that all depends on their future, i wont let anything happen to them. Forsaken snored when all the kittens collectively attacked it's face. Forsaken could feel only one kit was still preoccupied by it's dancing tail.The demon tried to sputter some words out with all the kittens on it's face.] "Puresun, I am needed. I will be back as soon as possible, I promise. I always keep my promises." [Forsaken smiled a charmingly sly smile to the queen as it bowed politely, fading into the shadows.] "I will be back before you know it." [Forsaken felt safer travailing and having Puresun close to her clan, now that Blood was locked away. Once the demon had meted away the kittens who had been crawling allover it remained softly on the ground the demon had been resting on.]

[I looked down at Songkit and couldn't help but smile. I straightened my back, fluffing up my fur as I did so, hoping to provide some warmth for myself. I cast a quick glance at Brokensoul, not forgetting my orders, then returned to Songkit]
"Of course, Songkit. I'd love to be your friend" I meowed softly.
[There was a kindness in my mew, but it was tinged with sadness. I silently made a vow that Songkit would never be alone, ever]

[My dark amber eyes watched Mudnose as she ran off with Envypaw, gone to patrol the territory. I couldn't help but smile as I watched her. She brought me happiness. Sighing, I forced myself to look away, serveying the camp, like I was supposed to be, from my spot at the base of the Shadowstone. I looked up at the dark rock, wondering what it was like to be up there at top, looking down upon all my Clanmates, summoning them for a Clan meeting. It had to be a great feeling. I smiled at the thought.
I glanced over at Willowheart, noticing Brokensoul right next to her. I narrowed my eyes, but didn't move. I'd be able to get over there if anything happened. Besides, she was with Swansong. He'd protect her]

[Avaricekit squeaked gleefully as he felt his play toy in front of him go away. He bounced foward, hoping to catch the fluffy toy once more. Disappointment flickered in his face though. He wsa gone! And he had just started to have fun! A frown crossed his face for a moment. Now what was he going to do? He certainly wasn't going to play with whoever that other cat was that attacked him! He was mean!
Gurgle gurgle, gurgle! a noise rumbled in the kit's stomach. He was hungry. He frowned. He didn't like that. He quickly tasted the air, trying to find Puresun. Food. Food sounds nice, he thought with a small smile. With an eager bounce, he tumbled over to the scent of his mother. Soon enough, he bumped into his mother's furry side. He quickly began to nurse, aching to satiate his thirst.

[I sat in the nursery, my back turned to the entrance, black fur sticking up in every direction. My golden eyes, the only thing I had inherited from my mother, stared at my paws, watching silently as they slowly sprouts claws, and then disappear. It was a time passing sight, one that I saw regularly, every day. It was all the same. Wake up in the nursery, stay in the nursery, go outside for an hour or two, go back inside the nursery, sleep in the nursery. And repeat. Not that I was against it or anything. I didn't bother talking to any of the kits, trying to become friends with them. Friends told each other secrets, and no one could be trusted with my secret. My father's secret. I sighed and turned my head, watching the warriors converse with one another, Clanlife slowly progressing.
I felt no inclination to join it.
I turned my head the other way and spotted Foxfur, sitting by the Shadowstone. I narrowed my eyes in disgust and turned away, suddenly feeling sick beyond belief]
