Shadow laughed as his eyes maintained their color. If I wanted to hide Xol I'd be in the ground. As it is I like where I am. Surely the oh so powerful Xol can see me in this spot. By the way how's the side? Answered Shadow in a condescending tone.
He had had enough of Xol's bluster. He was still far from his original form but he was sure that Xol would not be able to be rid of him as easily as the being thought.

You wanna know why I did that.... it's because he got in my way. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I'd do the same thing to 9, Kaiori, Kogashi, D, Phia.....even Aeris if they tried to stop me...

Shadow's throat shifted slightly as a thick tendril of wood rose from the floor to intercept the knife. He then spoke his voice a perfect copy of Xol's It's most foolish to turn your back twice on an enemy. And simply stupid to do so after they've stabbed it once.
As the knife would hit the tendril a red glow would appear from Shadow's body in the place the knife would come through the tendril if it could. His throat shifted again and he said in his own voice. I asked for this some time ago and I just get it back. I'm not going to be loaning you anything important to me Xol. You're just not trust worthy.

*she kept rubbing her temples furiously, finally she gave up* god I need a drink...*she grabbed her glasses and stood up, walking out into the main room, leaving her rapier in the dummy of the training room, making her way to the kitchen, she stumbled over to the refridgerator and felt around for a blood packet, dragging her nail along the top making a small opening and drinking it*

Xol stands and looks around the room. "Well this has been a blast, but I have more important matters to attend to." He said, exploding into a plume of black mist. As it dissapeared, so did it.

Stint as a good guy? Shadow says around his laughter. I've never claimed to be good Xol. I'm here on my agenda. I happened to join a merc group and then get attacked by you. I'm planning to regain what's mine and altering my body is simply along the way. I only imitate the voices of those I respect though so be honored. He says.
He itched to fight Xol again and again but he knew that he didn't have the time tonight. He had his children to visit and see to. His precious night hounds and krelac. They had grown so much since thier birth. We will have a true match when I am whole until then it will just be these minor scuffles Xol. he finished.
