Doriya cheesey  a cute little shiro loli. heart i was surprized it came out so well, cosidering i normally shade with white about as well as i can sprout wings and fly to mars. Beautiful edit Cheesey. I really like the detail of the dress. But I love her hair and eyes. Their so detailed and pretty :3 thanks!! heart heart also, happy thanks giving everyone!

Chainmail? Well, I'm not sure if it'll help for you, but what I do for that is shade normally, like for shiny fabric, then on a layer above put a black-and-white checkerboard pattern with the opacity decreased. Like this:  You can see it on the sides and the gloves.

Any suggestions for chainmail? I really like the reposing. Yaaaah. Anyways, for chainmail I usually do a layer of basic shading, then add dark rings, then add in light rings, and then do white highlights over that. This is a pretty bad example but it's something...
