Because it seems like I'm the only one who is seeing all this 'funny' stuff for the danger it actually is. Forget child porn and stabbings, drugs and video games, alcohol and cigarettes, those things are insignificant compared to the social mechanism that is being engineered. In this emerging order, in order to establish one's individuality one must apparently have some degree of 'fame', one way to establish said fame is to give up one's identity to a mass to perform acts which seem as harmless as a butterfly beating its' wings in the desert, which miles away creates a tornado. The difference is in the fact, that while the butterfly is simply doing what it does to live, these acts perpetrated by Anon directly seek to create a malicious effect. So once one has achieved fame with friends they attempt to became an anonymous figurehead, or internet star, either leading more chaos or becoming fodder for the chaos, the cycle of fame and shame repeats itself, tinting everyone the same shade till we lose the natural progression of identity formation as identified in Erik Erikson's Life Cycle Theory.

Add in the fact that people seem to be (in the majority of cases) getting stupider, working less and expecting more, extremely dependent on parents but disrespectful, accustomed to luxury, overall detached from reality and indignant towards everyone else, mollycoddled to the point of emotional weakness and you have a ticking social time bomb.

I was just talking about the ones that instigate fun s**t in the middle of a game or chat room by riling someone up or starting an outright bizarre discussion. Hinote, Did you forget that quite a few things that someone may post can have severe real life affects? Just look at how some people laughingly call people gay, or f**, or some other rediculous name. Look it up on youtube. Quite a few people, normally overweight men, have been driven to make lashings at these people, and some are even driven to tears.

I'm just saying that even if I were to call someone Gay { Which unless I know they are I never do, because one of my half brothers committed suicide because he was called gay every day, he was beaten, and so on, Because I don't want the same thing to happen to anyone else that happened to him. } Every day for the entire time I knew them, I would slowly but assuredly destroy their self confidence, and their reason for even getting up in the morning. Yes, they could very well just leave, or say they are ignoring me, but they would either end up finding someone else that does the exact same thing, or they would read all of my comments but not respond to them.

Also, those little comments that rile someone up... THOSE start the flame wars. Seriously, this who beiber thing was most likely started by ONE SINGLE PERSON saying " Man, that beiber kid is a f**. " and then a beiber fan responded. And now you see what we have to deal with now.

Yes, among friends that is fun and all, but when you accidentally go too far, like this instance, then it could ruin a relationship. if you hadn't Noticed, Auugie NEVER tore anyone down, he never even said something about someone that he wasn't sure that they would approve of. And quite honestly no one here has ever called anyone anything outside of a fight. { Unless you count boy, or girl. Or their varients. } I think part of it could have been that you were the first to call someone something, but seriously. Trolls can not be fun. They can only destroy peoples lives and try to satisfy the hole in their own personality by tearing down other peoples self confidence.
