What was said was shocking to Kalore, but he hoped that the shock wasn't too obvious on his face. Nodding slowly, he gave the one moment sign as he tried to find a way to respond to that. Kalore thought for a couple moments and then sighed, nodding and looked at him. "And...? What was the result? Is it real?" Kalore was still leaned over his knees, barely a foot away from the other man. He was wondering though... Did he want it to be real?

Monty blinked and sighed, not used to explain anything to anyone or even sharing his most private of thoughts to anyone. He looked at Kalore with a serious expression. "It is very real and I don't understand it." He said bluntly. Of course he didn't. Just a few years ago Lech ruined it for him and he vowed never to go with men ever again. Monty was a demon and damn good at what he does as one but he would never stoop low like Lech. Not even the lowest of the low of demons would do that.

Nodding, there was a small smile on Kalore's lips as he mouthed out, "Sometimes you just don't understand things... And it's better to just leave it that way." He sighed and bit his lip, probably signing his death warrant but he didn't care. Kalore gave him a nervous smile, "Don't kill me, ok? Just... Just don't kill me..." Leaning close, Kalore placed a gentle kiss, conveying that he felt something for the demon as well, but what it was he didn't really want to think of yet. Parting, he went down just a bit lower, making it easier for him to dodge a sudden fireball or something.

Monty stiffened at the kiss and when Kalore parted, there was this little part of him, the part that was developing feelings, was sort of disappointed. In away that part of him wanted more but he mentally kicked it aside. He moved his head away from Kalore. The demon didn't want to hurt Kalore. For a moment he felt that the elf deserved so much more than a homicidal demon and he actaully agrees with that.

Another sigh came from him as Kalore guessed that he was safe for now. He looked at Monty with his head cocked to the side, risking a touch to his cheek to have the demon look at him as he mouthed out. "I wasn't lying when I said I liked you. As a friend or something more, I don't know for sure yet, but I have a pretty good idea on it. Believe me or don't, that's up to you..." His hand dropped and Kalore let Monty process all of that. He didn't want to overload the demon, but there was a part of him that just wanted to kiss him until he understood... like that would go over well....

Monty blinked and slightly stiffened at the touch on his cheek but he got the message and looked at Kalore. What he said surprised him but he didn't show it. The demon couldn't show anything because he didn't know how and he was slightly or most likely afraid of what was developing between them. So, to distract them from this he looked at the night stand. "Eat your food Kalore." He said, gently.

Sighing again, Kalore nodded, eyes dropping as he went back to where the food was, leaning against the headboard as he picked at it. His appetite was still gone, but it wasn't just that. He pretty much knew that Monty didn't care really, at least that's what was in his mind as Kalore took a small bite of a fruit. Looking at the floor, he continued to think of what happened and if he did something wrong or what all had gone wrong over the past couple days. Which was a lot to think about...

Looking down at the bed he started to think. He wasn't ready to be with men again well, to go back being the two way street. Though, something was developing for Kalore and only him, which was odd to him. So, somehow he had to make it up to him. Caring for him stirred his protective side. It was a rare thing to be stirred so that must mean something. Looking up at him, he reached over and touched his cheek ever-so lightly to get his attention.

A strawberry was in his mouth as Kalore looked at Monty, blinking. The look was adorably innocent as there was a small confused smile on his lips. The fruit in his mouth didn't allow him to mouth out the words but he finished eating it and continued to look at Monty, head cocked to side.

He took his hand away, thinking that Kalore didn't want to be tainted by a demon and cleared his throat softly. "I'm sorry." Monty said and found that the words he wanted to say left him and he was speechless. Sighing he looked away. "I want to make it up to you." He whispered, more to himself.

Swallowing down the rest of the fruit, Kalore blinked and moved so that he was sitting on his knees in front of Monty again, his hand on the demon's shoulder. "You don't have to, Monty..." There wasn't anything that he needed to make up to Kalore. Monty had been really good to him, but Kalore didn't register the thought that maybe he had been regretting treating the elf the way he had been.

Shaking his head slightly he bowed his head to Kalore. "I have to make it up to you. To set it right." He said, more softer than before. Never in all his life he felt the need to do something like that. Well there was a one time he did but that time was long gone and now he was in the present and had to look forward. Blinking again, the demon looked down at the bed again.

Kalore nodded slowly, a small smile on his lips again as he lightly cupped Monty's cheek. "Look at me..." When he was, the elf sighed and didn't remove his hand as he mouthed out, "Any ideas on how to do that? I'm not mad, as I told you before, so I don't know why you think you have to..." Kalore was tempted to kiss him again, but for the first time since he had seen Monty, the demon looked confused. No need to confuse him more than he already was.

Monty looked up at Kalore and this time didn't stiffen at the contact. He wasn't that afraid he guessed but still cautious. Most likely cautious about that muscle called a heart. Perhaps he didn't want it broken but how could it if it was black and already broken to begin with. No, he didn't want to break Kalore's because Kalore was so different from him that he didn't want Kalore to be unhappy, not ever.
"I hurt you by not being able to handle this." He said softly, keeping his voice low because he didn't feel the energy to raise his voice. "I hurt you for making a mistake." It could be considered a mistake since it made the elf confused and got him all messed up.

Sighing again, Kalore still didn't remove his hand from Monty's cheek. He instead looked at him with that same small smile, "You apologized and decently explained... Monty, are you acting like this because you don't like me and this is annoying you, or are you acting like this because you do and don't know how to handle it?" Kalore had asked something like this in the tower, and Monty had turned cold and run off. Hopefully this time it would be different. Hopefully.
