Edmond continued to carry Rosie in silence until he found the clinic that he had met Emily at. Edmond made his way to the back alley where he knew there was a door and he set Rosie down on the lid of a dumpster. "Stay here and keep pressure on the wound. I will be right back." The Count ordered before turning and approaching the door. He slowly opened it making sure that no alarms were triggered and then stepped inside the building. Inside he was met with the same hallways he had found before only there was seemingly less security. Edmond wasn't sure if that would change so he decided to hurry regardless. He crept down the hall checking to see what doors were locked and what doors were not, when he found one unlocked he peeked inside, the first few didn't have what he needed or had guards who were seemingly taking a "break" from their jobs. Not long after that Edmond found an empty room. He dipped inside and shut the door behind him before making a quick rush over to the cabinets. The vigilante pried them open and removed what he needed. Some thread, a needle, and rubbing alcohol to sterilize the gunshot. He placed the items into a plastic bag that he also took from the cabinet and then shut it. With a little more caution Edmond slipped back through the room and to the door which he peeked outside of again to see if there were any more guards. Fortunately it seemed that the hallway was still empty, so Edmond slid out of the room and began walking back towards the rear exit.

Rosie held her hands over her leg as the Count had instructed. Doing her best to hold her leg as tightly as she could. She sat there and waited patiently for the man in black to come back out of the building, keeping a close eye out on the alley. Well, as closely as she could. She felt tired. Wasn't sure if it was from the excitement or getting shot, but she was having a hard time focusing on anything for very long. Soon, the door opened again. Rosie looked up, expecting to find the man with the white mask to be standing in the doorway. Instead, she found a large burly man with tattoos over one arm, and a full cast over his other arm walk out. "As I said, keep that arm elevated, take it easy on the pain killers, and for heavens sake stay away from that bar." another man said from behind him. As the man stepped out, a thinner man wearing a long white doctors jacket stepped out of the doorway. He wore a green surgical mask and cap, and had a pair of red star-shaped glasses over his eyes. He was wiping a bit of blood off of his jacket as he walked out. Neither of the two men had seen the Count sneak inside. They had exited one of the locked rooms barely a moment after the Count had found and entered an empty room. "Fine... ah' didn't much care for dat place anyway." the bigger man grumbled. Without even noticing the girl, the man turned and headed out of the alley. The Crime Doctor shook his head lightly and turned to go back into the building. He stopped when he noticed something red close by, and stared at the little girl sitting alone in the alley with a bloody leg. He stared at her for a moment, surprised to find such a thing outside his office. More surprised... that he recognized the child as one he had stitched up not too very long ago. And considering who was acting as a sort of... guardian towards the girl he stitched up before... it was a bit troubling that the girl was here. Not... surprising that she was bleeding. But surprising that she was here alone. At least he assumed she was alone. Closing the door behind him, the Crime Doctor walked up to the small girl. "Well now... what are you doing out here?" he asked gently. Rosie looked up at him, frowning a bit. He looked like a doctor... so... "I... I was shot." she replied. "Oh? here, let me have a look." he said as he approached the girl.

Dantes proceeded down the hall a quickly and quietly as he could and when he reached the door at the end he opened it slowly peeking outside again. Sure he would be leaving the building but Edmond was always careful, and fortunately this time it paid off. He saw the man in the lab coat and immediately recognized him as the Crime Doctor. They had met once before but Edmond had been in a very different disguise. Pretending to be a nurse was always more of a task then pretending to be a criminal and so Edmond remembered the few times he had done it. The Count then stepped outside of the building and closed the door, making sure that the Crime Doctor wouldn't hear it latch shut. Then he set the bag of supplies down and notched an arrow which he aimed at the Crime Doctor. As he did this Dantes slowly stepped to the right away from the door He said nothing but he did lower his weapons. Edmond wouldn't just shoot him because the man was talking to Rosie but if he put her at any risk Edmond would. The Crime Doctor had helped Emily and had seemed like a good man for bad people, so Edmond was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Rosie kept still as the Crime Doctor walked towards her. She kept her hands tight on her leg until he came and pulled her hands away. He carefully lifted the bottom of her dress back so that he could properly inspect her wound. "My... you certainly did get shot. And how did this happen?" he asked. "Mmm.... a man came and... and shot me." Rosie replied simply. The man glanced up at her once, then back down at her leg. "Did this happen at your home while the other two were watching you again?" he said as he looked back up at her. The little one gave him a look. She didn't know what he was talking about, and he could tell she didn't know. "You're a different Rosie, aren't you?" he asked. "You've... met more of me?" she asked. The man nodded. "I stitched up the leg of another one of you not too long ago. Fell on a vase. If she hadn't talked all about her duplication powers, I'd probably be more surprised. Though I am curious on how you got here all by yourself.""The man in the mask brought me." she replied. The man stopped and looked up at her. "Man in the mask?" he asked.

The Count set the arrow in his hand back in the quiver and spoke up in a deep scratchy voice that did not match the voice he had used the previous time they met. "The one behind you." Dantes didn't speak in a long sentence or explain much because it was hard to keep the voice believable if it was used for more than quick phrases "Where are the other Rosies?" Edmond inquired. Despite the urgency that this Rosie being shot in the leg prompted Edmond wanted to get the Rosies together into one place. That way he wouldn't have as much to worry about when he ran into them. Each Rosie had a different story and it was tasking to guess what that story was every time he ran into one. Plus, the others may know about the lab, or even if the Rosie he met first was still alive. With his questions asked he picked up the bag of medical supplies and brought it over to the duo before him. The Crime Doctor did not appear very threatening so Edmond was letting his guard down a little more.

Firestar humphed again as she rolled her eyes upward, "'Sidekick'? Really? If we're doing this, we do this on an equal basis, Red Hood. I happen to be an Avenger -- like your JLA. And while we're on the subject: I will not go out of my way to eliminate criminals; HOWEVER, if there is someone threatening to kill one of the citizenry or cops -- I will do whatever is necessary to save people. If the villains surrender, fine they surrender. If they kill or attempt to kill someone -- I won't hesitate to fry them. And from what my Grandpa described of German soldiers in World War Two shooting our troops and then surrendering -- that doesn't count with me, and it didn't with Grandpa either. Can we agree on that?" Firestar waited for an answer looking directly at Red Hood. Cold Doubt Sorry for the delay, been traveling and studying.

The Crime Doctor turned as the new voice came from behind him. He didn't recognize the costume at all, and the man didn't seem to be very threatening other than his dark costume. The doctor kept his guard up, but kept his tone and posture calm. "I'm afraid I only know of only one other Rosie. She was in the care of another guardian. I'm afraid her home was destroyed not long after my visit to her." he replied.

"Who was the guardian watching her?" Edmond asked in the same unnatural voice as he set the bag on top of the dumpster that Rosie was seated on. He motioned towards the bag with the medical supplies so the Crime Doctor could help fix Rosie's leg. As much as Dantes enjoyed talking (sarcasm) they did still have a child bleeding in front of them. Edmond then took a step or two back making sure that his back was not turned to the Crime Doctor. Anyone could knock anyone out if the targets back was turned.

Red Hood listened carefully this time, rather than ignoring the rambling of the talkative, flying redhead. When she finished with her question, he turned and replied. "You see, that's where you and I are different. I will go out of my way to eliminate criminals, if I want." He clenched his fist a bit.
"But if you throw that title of yours in my face one more time, about you and your pretentious Avengers, we're gonna have a problem. You can sit on your high-horse about how you deal with criminals, but in the end, you have to admit you're a vigilante. We're both vigilantes. The only reasons we can't be arrested are because no one else can handle the situations we do, and no one can stop us either."
He eased his tension when he continued, turning back and looking at Gotham's skyline. "...Look, if you and I are going to do this, I need to know if I can trust you. Who are you really behind that mask?"
Skuld HJG It's no big deal. I understand.

Firestar sighed heavily, while holding Red Hood's gaze with a level one of her own, "Look... I really don't know how these JLA guys act -- I'm getting the idea from you that they're a bunch of stuck-up prima donnas. That's not me, nor are some of the people I'm used to working with. We have to have each other's back.
"And as far as masks? I could say the same of you...," Angelica thought for a moment, "How about this: we both take our masks off, and properly introduce ourselves. Trust has to start somewhere, and we both have to earn trust with each other."

"Hm. You want to have my back.." He thought it odd that this girl wanted to fight alongside him. There was always a boundary separating the heroes from the villains, but apparently to her, that boundary is obsolete.
"Alright Firestar. I'll bite." He said, placing his hands on the left and right sides of his helmet. He turned back and faced her one last time. "You've convinced me enough that you can keep a secret. Fortunately for you, my secret identity is a little less important to me than yours is to you."
He lifted off his helmet and removed the small, black facemask over his eyes, revealing his face. "My name is Jason Todd. I was the second Robin working alongside Batman, when the first Robin went off to Blüdhaven as Nightwing. In my world, the Joker stuck me in a warehouse and blew me to kingdom-come. If it weren't for Ra's Al Ghul and his Lazarus Pit, I would still be six feet under."
He figured that was enough of a backstory for now.
"Your turn."

"I'm afraid that crosses the doctor patient confidentiality line." the man said as he moved to open the bag of supplies. "Especially when I'm supposed to be running a no questions asked sort of practice. And I've already asked and answered a share of questions for free." he added as he reached into the bag. These were probably his supplies, weren't they? He didn't exactly have everything guarded under lock and key, and no one would bother bringing their own supplies to him unless they thought they could just get patched up for free then. Still, he pulled out what he needed to begin with and turned his attention onto the child in front of him. He pulled out a small rag from the bag, made sure that it was clean, then tossed it over his shoulder. He pulled out antiseptic wipes and took the girls hands to clean the blood off of them. "Without going inside, there's not much I can do to keep this from being painful. That said I don't need a child screaming outside my building." he said, then pulled the rag off his shoulder when he was done. "So... I'm going to ask you to bite down on this as I get you fixed up. Alright? It will hurt... but biting down as hard as you need on this and screaming into it should help ease the pain some. You can touch it now too. The rag and your hands should be clean. If you need you can squeeze the bottom of the rag or your dress as hard as you want as well. Understood?" he asked. The little one looked up at him, a heavy frown on her face. But she nodded in understanding, and sheepishly took the rag from him. Nervously putting it up to her mouth and nibbled down on the end of it. "You'll want more to bite down on than just the corner of it..." the man said. His tone a bit apologetic. Which... anyone who knew him when he worked for a few other organizations would probably consider a bit out of character for him. Suppose he was more lenient on children than he was towards bodies of payment.

Edmond returned to the door of the clinic when the Crime Doctor grabbed his supplies. He was tempted to turn the Crime Doctor into a human pin cushion but Dantes restrained himself. "You claim no questions asked, but the first thing you said when you saw the girl's leg was 'how did this happen?'." Dantes commented from behind the duo. He would let the Crime Doctor help Rosie but that didn't mean he was off the hook. Edmond watched the doctor carefully as he thought of a way around doctor patient confidentiality. Being a lawyer by day that was something fairly easy for Edmond. As he had expected Edmond immediately found a flaw with the Crime Doctor's excuse. Doctor-patient confidentiality only applied if the information was going to be used in court. This dark alleyway was no where near a courtroom and so it did not apply. Edmond was going to press the topic, but only when the Crime Doctor had fixed Rosie's leg, because then any threats would seem much more real than if he still needed the man to do something.

Firestar gazed in Jason's blue eyes to get a true sense of the man. Angelica could see the pain and long suffering this man had experienced in the time that he had fought the madness that is Gotham. With a simple nod, Firestar lifted her hands and carefully removed her mask that was adhered to her face. Gazing back with her own green eyes, Firestar extended a hand to properly introduce herself, "My name is Angelica Jones, formerly of Newark, New Jersey, and it's nice to meet you Jason. My dad, Bart Jones, disappeared with my entire neighborhood since the World Merge.
"When my powers emerged, I was whisked up to Boston for training at an academy.... which turned out of be a nest of vipers trying to train me as some sort of assassin. Ended up burning the place... Got help from the Professor Charles Xavier and his X-Men, who helped me to control my powers. Tried my hand at being a hero and eventually joined the Avengers, but I got tired of the politics. Lost friends when Nitro blew up them, a bunch of kids on a school bus, and about 600 people in Stamford, Connecticut. I was retired until the World Merge, and become active again. Just before the World Merge, I saw my own country pass the 'Hero Registration Act' which would force heroes to tell who they were... Almost saw the Mutant Registration Act pass with would have been the first step to a mutant Holocaust... So I do understand about law not being 'just.' I've probably seen about the same amount of corruption that you have -- at least it's in the same ballpark."

The doctor scoffed lightly as Edmond made his remark. "Isn't that the sort of question most doctors ask?" he said, making sure the girl was ready. "For my line of work, it's better to know the nature of the bullet, stab, burn, or fracture wound. If it was accidental or cross fire, thats fine. If not I need to know if I'll be expecting the one who caused the injury to be chasing after the patient still or are looking for them." he said, then looked back at Edmond. "Plus... I don't usually get children with gunshot wounds sitting outside my doorstep. That tends to be a job for a normal hospital that can do a much better job than I can. People come to me because they need a very quick fix or the whole doctor patient hush-hush rule." he said, then turned back to Rosie. He got into the bag again and began pulling out what he needed. Then he reached into his pocket and pulled out a clean pair of surgical gloves and put them on. "The guardian you're inquiring about had taken a great deal of work to ensure his privacy when I had visited him. The child's.... well we'll call them babysitters... had called me because she had been careless and hurt herself. Nothing serious, but enough to make her sitters panic that they'd be reprimanded that she was injured on their watch. She appeared as though she was being very well taken care of, if that is what you are concerned about."He then looked up at Rosie and commented before he began to sterilize the wound, " Alright, you might want to bite down on that now."Rosie's face tensed up as he cleaned the wound, then her entire body seemed to tense up as she watched him move two shiny tools towards her leg. Her eyes clamped shut, and her body curled up as he held her leg still and pulled the wound open enough to get to what he needed. She cringed and twisted at her dress, the rag in her mouth muffling her scream. "I know, I know. You bite down on that as much as you need to."
