Paul and Fyrin were tactical, straightforward, and as Paul said, "there was no burst of fire or battle cry."
Of course, Joe burst into fire. Lots of fire. More than ever before, actually. He felt his Patron closer than it had ever been, and with the Saint's Saber hanging at his side - no, not drawn, sheathed - he felt an even greater level of resonance, an even greater level of power. Instead of trying to contain it, he let it burst forth harder than it ever had before.
It tore from his lips a scream of both pain and excitement as he did all he could to simply direct it. He aimed it in the direction of the mages and vampire and werebeasts, crying out all the while in a dual-voiced howl that struck terror into their opponents.
After this initial assault was resolved, Joe drew the Saber as he pulled from the mana cell. He grinned viciously as his eyes burst into flame. "Chaaaaaarge!" he screamed to anyone that had yet to, then flitted forward and began to deal out death however he could.

((It's really not too hard at all, you say yes and I keep coloring. easy peasy lemon squeezy!))

Agnese leaned back, looking at the way she'd colored on Takeshi's face. He looked like a kitty cat. A necrophiliac kitty cat...but a kitty cat all the same. He needed whiskers though.

And by now, She'd accumulated an entire rainbow of markers via the solitaire playing vampire, who wasn't half bad at texas hold 'em. That was how she'd collected her marker collection in the first place. Poker.

The barricade flanks were each covered by three dedicated soldiers - evidently, sent there moments ago by Legion's warlocks, who'd recognized the weakness. Steven hurriedly ducked behind the nearest pillar as stupidly huge quantities of automatic fire were laid down at him.

One of the warlocks who'd joined the battle saw the phase bullets piercing the thin barricade. "Phasing!" he yelled, thrusting his hand up. The marble floor erupted upwards, adding a second layer to the barricade. The bullets chipped away at it, but progress was slow.

Paul was able to lay his fire down horrifically accurately with the cyNet3 scope. Everything worth shooting had a neon glow, and his background gave him the aim to make use of that fact.

Summoning circles of light began to appear on the floor. Demons of all manner began to assault the skeletal soldiers in a flurry of claws, tentacles, fangs, and blades.

Then, one of the skeletons suddenly turned very greenish.
Then, he exploded.
Then, the bits of him exploded again.
"Oy, eh! It's you guys, is it?" yelled a familiar voice from above. Paul looked up and saw someone clad in leather with metallic hands on the fourth floor balcony, opposite the room from him. He had a book in his hand.

Takeshi gave a bemused look at Agnese. "I really don't un-"

The building shook, messing up a whisker. "That's not a good sound," he commented dryly. Raphael stormed in seconds later.

"Less face-coloring, more following me. We're under attack," he declared curtly, spinning on his heel and walking out.

"Well, shitsticks," Takeshi declared, standing.

Paul followed his vision with his sights, focused on the Sage, and took a potshot, right for the eyes. Just like that. 1/5 of a second.

Fyrin, meanwhile, entered the fight himself calmly, moving out towards the demons while the skeletons twisted, firing guns and slashing with knives to drive off. Out of the interest of revival later, Fyrin collected the soul of his fallen skeleton with a quick tuck and roll through the fire, taking cover behind a pillar to lay down several detonations on the backside of the marble floor towards wall.

Steven, meanwhile, fired terrorist-style: around the corner without looking. Vlad arrived at his position to support, and with a shrug did the same thing.

Now where were George and James in this mess? Oh, right - far side, doing the same thing with the flanks.

The Sage was there when Paul aimed.
Then he wasn't.
Standing next to him was the Acolyte girl who'd bailed him out from his original execution.

Steven heard a scream. One down. Then, a spike of marble launched him into the air; the elementalist was blindfiring, just like he had.

Fyrin's shield sent a deadly hurricane of ricocheting gunfire across the central melee as he dismembered demons.

Joe's roar was what most would describe as "mildly terrifying."
The fire was "entirely terrifying."
Three elementalists worked to counter his initial burst and it still lit up three vampires and a werebeast.

Ohh, demons. Not a good plan as Marco entered the fray.
They only sign of his arrival before they began to disintegrate left and right was a slight whoop as he took to the air, dodging spells and bullets as he fired anti-demon pulses that either unsummoned them or, if they were weak enough, shattered their essence.
Joe charged the barriers, swinging the Saber. He called on Earth to slam through the barriers in the form of twin marble rams, which charged the barricades at incredible speeds, forming even as they left the ground. They were huge.

Fyrin seemed pleased with his maelstrom of counter-fire - he stood in the very center of the room, blossoming out the forward parts of his shield into an artfully positioned parabola. With a touch of bending, he could specifically send people's bullets in directions he wanted them to go. He looked to Steven and Vlad and gave them some sort of order. They caught on quickly, and since Steven was already airborne, it wasn't all that hard for them to do something with their feet and activate their "Seven League Boots," which had the result of allowing them to jump really, really high. They took advantage of this and landed on one of the higher up balconies, opening up on the targets below.

Paul had a similar idea, firing his Earth-Grappling-Hook across the entryway and letting it drag him like a Hookshot up and across, taking care not to waste ammunition on shooting at the Sage or the Acolyte.

Marco felt a rush of power. It was the euphoria of pure energy absorption, an exhilarating feeling - almost sexual, even - as if the whole world existed to kneel before him.

More warlocks entered the fray. Marco recognized the trademark of a shadow warlock - his feet sinking into its own shadow.

Vlad was promptly thrown off his balcony landing by a kinetic blast from a horned, monkey-like demon. It turned to Steve, who shot it in the face. Its body disintegrated as it unsummoned.

Paul slid across the central melee. Fyrin took great care not to let him get hit until he began his upwards movement.

The upper half of his hook turned to green crystal at a touch from the sage's hand.

Ah. That could become trouble very shortly. Paul released it and fired it again, keeping his gun focused where the hook landed so that it couldn't be touched without receiving fire or damage of some sort.

Vlad twisted downward and only managed to preserve himself from broken legs by using his boots to jump right back up to the far side like there were springs attached. Entertaining picture, actually.

Fyrin threw himself behind a pillar once Paul was safe so as to preserve his (only somewhat dented) shield.

Marco began to fire Force Bullets indiscriminately the mages, trying to identify the shadow mage and bring him down. It was difficult for him to resist giving into the rush completely, but for now, he managed.
Joe, having burst through the barriers, decided to leave the lower levels to the others and flitted to the top. He appeared quite suddenly behind the Sage. "Remember me?" he asked through a savage grin as the Saint's Saber swung at his head.

The remnants of the hook detonated as they reached the ground, spraying re-exploding crystal shrapnel across the presently largely-deadlocked field of battle. One of the warlock elementalists went down with a shard in his shoulder.

The Sage saw what Paul was doing and fired a bolt at the hook from the side before Joe's arrival.

Fyrin made it behind the pillar. The few remaining demons were now free to focus on the skeletons while the warlocks assaulted Marco with Shadow Magic and the elementalists above began casting firebombs to the ground.

Joe found that the Sage was suddenly very much out of his range - almost thirty feet away, at the door to the room the warlocks were entering from at the edge of the balcony, in fact - while a device he and Jacob had recently seen on a plane had just smashed his left arm. The acolyte was much better with the device - and even faster - than the Masker on the plane.

Sebastian and Josh were whispering to each other behind one of the pillars. Neither had yet entered the fight.

((Jacob, first, you're with the other team, second, you'd probably go in silent - possibly with the whole group in a Chameleonic.))

"Oh, you goddamn son of a b***h!" Joe cried as he snapped his arm into place with a grunt. It healed almost instantly.
"I'm gonna kill you, you know?" he said. He held the Saber in a simple ready position, heightening all of his senses with magic as he readied for combat.

((Marco?))
