Daniel sat at the foot of his bed... his wings drooping unhappily. fiddling with the amulet in his hand he stared at the violet jewel. encased in a silvery hard substance. He had tried to break it many times, even going so far as to try and hang himself with it.... but nothing had worked. Even though he was determined to fix everything he had destroyed, he wasn't entirely enthusiastic. he was missing something....

Daniel: What is it that I'm miss.... Jameson? what are you doing?

Jameson: giving you one last kiss and a hug before I say goodbye.

Daniel: But I haven't acquired the last bit of my power! how could it even be possib...

Jameson placed her lips upon his, it wasn't an odd feeling. This was his own heart giving him the love he had been denied for so long.

Jameson: when I go back you won't have that hole anymore. That voidness in your heart, will be gone. Because you found something to keep you going. Friends. And they love you. As I do, as you love yourself and should learn to love life. you can finally start over. Finally smile again, and have it mean something.... Goodbye Daniel....

Jameson formed into the shape of a bright, shining orb, thrusting herself into where Daniel's heart would be.

Daniel: Its not goodbye... because I remember now... everyone... I remember what I have to do. that fragment in lady isn't the power I need... just a part of my past I kept clinging to. but thats over now..

Daniel shook all the fragments from his body, his wings went from tattered stitched up things to strong looking bat like wings laced with vibrant strings of silver. his blades vanished as he combined all the elements to form two reality blades, surging with power he dismissed them as he made his way off to the living room. With each step his power condensing back into his body, awaiting for the moment he needed it.

Daniel: So this is the true power huh? I see, Ishime, wait for me. I won't let anything happen to you!

Daniel shouted his promise to the outside, a wave of power surged outward before receding back into himself. he was finally complete...

Zaccheus looked at him"....you made me waste a syringe on you" he said a little sad.

Zaccheus looked away "No no its ok... It was one of my favorite poisons though..." he said.

Throughout the night, Nathan tossed and turned. his dreams were nightmares. he saw his children. Scarlett, and Aidan playing together in their room. the next thing he saw was Kikyo dead on the floor. blood everywhere. he looked up and saw Lance standing there with hatred in his eyes. the children were screaming and his mind went black.

he jumped up to a sitting position. his heart was racing and his palms were cold and clamy along with the rest of his body. a cold sweat. he looked to his side franticly to see Kikyo sleeping peacefully. he got out of bed and hastened to his kids' room. they were sleeping quietly in their cribs. Aidan woke up at the sight of light and started crying. Nathan picked him up and rocked him back and forth. "shh, shh. its ok. daddy's here." Nathan's soft voice seemed to calm Aidan down as he began sucking on his thumb. Nathan leaned down and kissed his forehead and sat in a rocking char and rocked back and forth as he began singing.

Nathan looked up from Aidan to Kikyo. His face held a slight look of confusion as he almost forgotten his dream. "oh. Nothing. everything is fine. i just had a nightmare. dont worry"

Aidan laid quietly in his dads arms sucking on his thumb. Nathan took one arm and placed it on Kikyo's back. "i know. and i couldnt be happier"
