"Well.. you could if she's willing," Lore didn't know how Elnara would feel about that, "But you have to ask her."

She might not be able or want to, teaching the children would be a big task and with the other children he didn't know if she would want that kind of responibility.

All of the noise woke Ulani from her slumber, though to be fair she was always a light sleeper when she had children. It wasn't a planned thing, it just happened. As it was, she could hear Storm and Starr's voices, and she opened her eyes and looked around.

Ulrich was still fast asleep next to her, both arms wrapped around her waist, and in the cradle beneath the window, Aliya was also fast asleep. Ulani smiled warmly and slipped out from beneath the blanket. It sounded like it was going to be an adventursome day ...

She dressed quickly and pulled her hair back, then stepped out of her room and closed the door tightly behind her.

Storm was indeed on his way to find Elnara, but he stopped when he nearly ran into Ulani's leg. He grinned (way) up at her and took a step back. "Morning Ulani!" he said brightly, milky eyes bright. "Is Mama awake yet?"

Starr giggled and climbed up onto Lore's shoulder, where she sat comfortably and folded her wings behind her back. "See, Papa?" she smiled. "He didn't wake Mama up!"

Lore sighed in relief as he let Starr rest on his shoulder before moving to pick Storm up, "Breakfast sounds like a fine idea," he replied gratefully.

At least it would keep everyone busy until Elnara woke up, if nothing else he thought waking up to the smell of breakfast was a far better wakeup call.

"Just regular food," Ulani laughed softly, ushering them towards the kitchen. "I don't know what you're used to having for breakfast, but I hope you'll like what I make."

Simple fare, nothing fancy. After all, she hadn't lived in a palace since she was ... well, a teenager. Millenia ago.

As soon as Ulani entered the kitchen, she glanced towards the fireplace oven. As if on its own, a fire roared to life- though in reality, she had lit it using her magic. She headed down to the cellar and brought up a tray of quail eggs, strips of venison, and some lembas batter. Within minutes, the entire kitchen was filled with the aroma of the cooking food.

The aroma of food cooking roused Elnara from her sleep, and she stared at the ceiling for a moment, wondering where she was. The smells ... were familiar, but at the same time not ... and the room ... wasn't ... and why was she sleeping with three of her daughters? ...

She sat up and looked around, and the memory of the previous day flooded her mind. Ah, yes ... back in Arda. That explained it. She slipped out of bed and dressed quietly, leaving her hair down but tucking it behind her ears. Then she headed towards the kitchen, where she knew Ulani would be cooking breakfast.

She was delighted to see that Lore was already there as well, and Storm, Starr, and Celebor

"Good morning," she greeted them all cheerfully, her eyes bright with sleep. Not fully realizing what she was doing, she greeted Lore with a kiss on the cheek before moving on and giving Celebor a morning hug.
