Baranar, after Erica ran past him, gave....((s**t, forgot the dude with the thing from the future's name)) a glare, turning and walking out. He considered going and finding out what was wrong with Erica, but he quickly decided not to. She was, as he could see via his second sight ((it's passive. He can't do nothin about it if he's even mildly interested in something)). He sighed, walking back to the room he was sitting in, lying back in a chair.

The door bell of the manor echoed through the halls. Erica raised her head from her bed, realizing that she had fallen asleep. She ran down the stairs and opened the door. It was, as she had hoped, her latest delivery. She quickly brought in the crate and set it down. Opening it she revealed a smallish bird with bright red and orange feathers. It was still a baby, specially created in the genetic labs of flippyville. Erica cooed to the tiny pheonix. "hello, little Ashura."

(I know...I just took a shower, and my ceiling fan is blowing on my hair, which is making my head cold. And I don't feel like turning it off.)

Erica put the phoenix on her shoulder, then Kali came pouncing into the main room. At the sight of the tiger the bird flew off her shoulder and up the stairs. "Ashura!!! Come back here!" Erica called out and ran up after the bird.

Umbra was walking down the stairs at this time, and when he saw the bird, he made an attempt to catch it. Upon hearing 'Ashura' though, he stumbled, and went tumbling down the stairs.

Erica, being on the stairway, started tumbling down with him. "Ashura!" She called out again, before bonking her head rather hard on the floor. "ow."

Scott ducked as a firey bird flew past, almost hitting him in the face. So Erica got another new pet... This place is turning into a damn zoo. He continued on down the hall to the stairs, where he just stopped and laughed at the two of them on the ground.

Umbra jumped up, and looked around. He staggered a bit, and then looked down at Erica. He helped her up, and then ran off towards the gardens.

Erica brushed herself off, holding the back of her head. "Thank you for the laughter Scott. Hey, where's Umbra going?"

Baranar was napping in his chair when he heard a chirping, almost in song. He opened an eye, and saw one of the most horrific things he had ever seen in his life. He wanted to cry.
Feather was singing. And not just singing, he was singing with another bird, a fiery-red bird that must have flown in. They were perched on the back of a chair next to each other, swaying back and forth, chirping to eachother.
