His abilities grow stronger. His attitude seems behind the curve yet. I wonder if it is even possible for him to survive such a creature; I would rather not destroy my creation so early because I didn't prepare him properly...

Ferno mused to himself, segmenting half his thoughts away from the rest of the prying eyes of any force users nearby. Echos had become commonplace for him anymore, and another one simply drained him only a little.

the thoughts flowed telepathically. He was only telling a half truth; not really lying, but his plans required little disruption. He ordered.

Borlieas was right underneath the palleaon; less than 300 meters off the surface, the ship was making a quick deploy of the plaguetroopers back to the surface for outfit reconditioning and repair. Fresh troops were loaded up and preparing to go.

As the two ships passed overhead with blidning speed, Sven looked up in curiosity, then back to the diplomats, who seemed worried. "Something wrong?"

The lead Utei nodded. "Yes. Strange, I would say. None of our ships should be within the atmosphere, much less two."

His comlink beebed, sending a signal from his ship. He confirmed it. "Not one of ours. Is the system frequented by pirates often?"

"No!" a second Utei answered, as they entered one of the caves, revealed as a plush hotel, most likely used to cater noble Utei as well as distinguished off-worlders. Next to this cave was another, with a sign that read . "We rarely ever get pirates. Our defense forces are enough to frighten most away."

Sven nodded, and replied into his comlink. "Have the lieutenant look into the matter. Inform the Captain of the Reliant."

He then followed the group into the designated meeting room.

He replied telepathicly, "yes master," and then began to dig deeper into his meditation. His body becoming much more relaxed, very close to that of sleep, but do not misread, through the force he was searching. Through memory of his vision he looked at the enviroment where he was in, and then dug much deeper. he began to feel the galaxy, seeing planet after planet, sun after sun, and it seemed like it was taking hours, but in real time only that of seconds.

He looked at all te planets, seeing way beyong what any normal person could, he was seeing through life, through everything, through the force. After traveling tohim what seemed forever, he came upon the planet known as Dathomir, and there and then he stopped. The presence of that planet, the life, it called to him, the planet screamed his name...but not that in death. He realized this was the planet in his vision, this is what the force was calling him to.

He opened his eyes, finding what he wanted to know. He sent a message once again, telapthicly to his master, "Master, do you feel the calling to?," he asked. ((This kind of reminds me of "I Jedi"))

Sven looked over, the Utei not noticing. "You're sure of this?"

They were led into a conference room, rust-brown in color, with ample furnisings, and a single viewscreen.

Tantis followed them into the room, taken in its rust brown color. "Yes I am sure. And you can beleive they they know that Xanth and I, are here as well."

He nodded, and sat down as the meeting began. "Then we had best be on our guard."

The meeting lasted for little more than fifteen minutes. Not much was discussed, beyond the new alliance and some small details, but these were handily smoothed over with no problems.

once it was over, Sven hurriedly led the way to his room in the hotel, accompanied by the two Force-users. He commed into his ship. "I'd like some guards down here, just in case. Maybe a few commandos, but no large numbers. Twenty at most."

He then set it down and turned to Tantis. "Let's hope they're friendly."

Revak clambered down the Ion Dragon's gangway, a Plasma Carbine in his hand and a Kar Vak Lightsword at his hip. Behind him six members of the engineering section rushed onto the sandy ground, an impromtu security team. They carried an eclectic array of blasters and hybridized weapons that were a combination of Raporan and Galactic technology. They fanned out toward the still smoking wreck of a transport.

As they moved toward the transport Calra scrambled down the gangway, a plasma carbine held tightly in her hands. Revak smiled slightly as he saw her catlike movements, there was a certain grace that the warrior caste imparted on its members, and Calra was as graceful and deadly as any one of their members.

Revak leapt onto the top of the smoldering hulk and scrambled across the ship's hull, still warm to the touch from reentry. With a quick blast from his plasma carbine he welded the dorsal laser turret in its track, removing it as a possible threat. Then he scrambled over to the dorsal hatch and pulled it open.

As it opened a human male came clambering out, his face darkened from the blast. He coughed from the smoke and blindly staggered upward before freezing as he realized that there was someone towering overhim. Revak gestured with his carbine, "Out... and keep your hands where I can see them hutt slime."

The human complied silently, apparently too stunned to care or assess his situation. All around the ship the pirates began opening hatches and clambering onboard, searching for prisoners and cargo.

As Revak dropped down into the ship he saw one of the crew slumped over a console, obviously dead from the impact. Beside him another crewman was crouched over the comm system... "Anyone this is Profit Gambit please respond... we've been attacked by pirates. Crashed at location Nine-twelve by thirty-four. Many..."

With a flash of plasma fire Revak shot into the console ending of the crewman's monologue. The rodian man turned grabbing for a blaster as a second blast from the oppisite direction burned into his chest. The rodian exploded from the plasma round and his waist and legs toppled to the ground by themselves. Calra stood with a smoking plasma carbine grasped in her hands on the oppisite side of the room, a predatory smile on her face.

From another compartment there came a yell, "Revak! We got the captain!"

Both Rapora turned and sped toward the compartment, their weapons up and ready. They entered a room already secured. The enemy captain, a human female, was on the floor, a pair of binders round her hands. Two of the pirates lifted the woman and drug her from the room. One of the pirates, an engineer, was leaning over the readouts. Revak glanced at him, "What sort of shape is she in?"

"She ain't flyable Revak, and she aint worth much as scrap...." The pirate smiled, "She does have a full cargo, medical supplies and foodstuffs. We could get some credits out of that... We should be able to fit it all in the Dragon."

"Good, see too it." Revak answered with a snarl. Then he turned to see two of his pirates pulling a pair of female twi'leks from the hold. They both looked battered and bruised, and they wore shackles marking them as slaves.

Calra hissed, "What scum on this bucket brought slaves?"

One of the Pirates, whom was also a twi'lek asked the slaves in Huttese, the two slaves glanced at each other before answering. Then the pirate turned to Calra, "The chief engineer."

Revak glanced at the two slaves before turning to the pirate, "Are there anymore?"

The twi'lek shook his head, "There were two in the aft compartment but the engineer cut life support to the section in order to escape. They're both dead."

A shiver ran down Revak's long spine, killing in battle was one thing but denying oxygen from slaves in order to escape was something else. His eyes flicked to the two frightened slaves, apparently neither understood basic... The terror of the their ordeal hadn't faded from them, nor did they know what to expect from the pirates, and the fear of the unknown clearly shown in them.

Revak glanced back at Calra, "Where is the chief engineer?"

Receiving the transmission from the Commander, and then picking up the transmission from the downed freighter, the Stalwarth Reliant, along with a few other frigates pulled over their position.

The captain gave the order, and dpeloyed his fighters, along with several teams of stormtroopers, more than enough to investigate a simple down freighter.

"Shouldn't be too much..." the captain replied lazily, as he reclined back.

"Sir, we have confirmation of another ship."

He looked up. "A second downed vessel?"

"Downed, but not damaged. Made an apparant landing. Unknown design and make. No IFF transponder."

The captain frowned and looked at his holoproj, showing a picture of the ship. "We could just level it from here, but I'd rather see into the matter. Belay bombardment orders. Just have the troops report what hey find."

"Aye aye."

Celestia Whitesword
Freya merely smirked at Sapphire's commentary. "Like, totally, Saph. And I probably wouldn't even scratch the paint on the Ballet, either." At any rate, Freya listened for more from the crazy old Jedi at the other end. Like, what was the name again? Graus? Grouch? she mentally added.

Graus smiled to the rest of the crew."I was wondering if we could meet up somewhere to discuss the next base and where it shall be. Along with whoever else we can contact of the higher-brass."He commed back.

"I haven't been able to make contact with anyone else but you, which tells me that they are out of my ships range to transmit."The jedi followed up.

Iria also paid mind to the jawa's words. "Master Vrook, I sensed many dark presenses during the evacuation."

Gunther looked between his cousin and his master. "I shall keep mindful of your words, master,"

Iria then looked back to Jaron. "Master Vrook, I would like to accompany Sir Gunther on his journey."

Master Vrook gave a slight sigh."Possible, that may not be young Knight. but speak of it with Master Sazen I will. Contact him I will once we land."Jaron said nto the young jedi, then once more his hood and golden orbs turned to the veiwport.

Fina Xanth

PostPosted: Sun Mar 04, 2007 12:44 pm

Fina had bowed her head to Tantis in return to his own greeting and then just followed behind Sven, to Tantis' left. She'd reached out with the force at about the same time as he had, but he'd beaten her in telling Sven about the force users. For now she'd just go over some scenario's in her head and figure out what actions should be taken in them... After going over only a few, she looked to Tantis. "Am I the only one having a bad feeling about those ships?" She said in a hushed voice, so as not to disturb Sven and the others at the meeting.

Lok...
Ree and Ash walked down the long path of the landing bay. Ash got close to Ree.
"Babe... I thought we wern't going to do work with this Pirate..."
"Well, the Mandalorians are in choas, and we need higher paying work till we get that frakin' Hutt..."
"What about that guy you fought that one time?"
"I tried contacting him, but it seems he has just dissapeared of the face of the universe..."
"But still... This is Rav... He's going to still blame you for killing his little sister."
Ree stopped.
"We all hate that Akey is dead, but he disowned her. He won't care..."
He started walking again, but stopped quickly, seeing the heat signature of multiple armed beings closing in. He turned his head slightly to Ash.
"Don't look surprised..."
"I'm wearing a helmet! I don't look anything!"

About ten armed beings came up, blasters raised. A emotionless looking Mon Cal walked forward. He grinned, seeing the Mandalorian. He quickly pulled out a pistol, but neither Ree of Ash moved.
"Well, Rav would like to know why the great Anzle has come here?"
"I'm looking for work-"
"Bantha-PooDoo! You know your not wanted..."
"I wish to make ammends..."
"Then-"
"Then you have a lot of work to do..."
From the crowd of gunmen, the Feeorin pirate stepped forward.
"So, you want to be one of the first Bounty Hunters to work for me?"
"And I wish to make it up for Akey's death..."
The Feeorin let out a bellowing laugh.
"HaHaHa! She didn't matter to me! I just made it look like it to see if you had to balls to work for me! HaHaHa! Come with me..."
He waved his hands, the two Bounty Hunters fallowing, as did the gunmen- there guns still aimed...

((Damn you EK... All I wanted was to give you a chance to meet these guys before you do battle... Instead you're setting up for an engagement))

Outside the battered ship Revak paced, his reptillian eyes glimmering in the sun. The two pirates pushed the two prisoners to the ground, one was the captain, whom despite her situation remained calm. The other was the chief engineer of the ship. He whimpered, terrified and clearly looking for a way out.

Revak paced before the two of them, "There are two dead sentients in the cargo hold... All I want to know is one thing. Which of you cut life support to the cargo bay?"

The captain swore quietly, glancing toward the chief engineer...

Revak snarled, "Which of you killed those two sentients in your desperate attempt to flee?"

The Engineer began to quake visibly... His hands shook as he stared at the sand. Beside him the Captain reamined stoic and expressionless. Revak smiled coldly at the two of them and stepped behind the two of them, "Of course I don't need to ask... I already know the answer." Calmly he lifted his plasma carbine to the neck of the engineer, "Don't I."

The blast echoed across the sand as the bolt burned the engineer's head clean from his shoulders, showering the captain with gore. The body slumped forward onto the sand, and Revak spat upon the corpse, "To aid you on your journey, filth."

Then the one called Revak turned to the captain and smiled, a cold expression in the eyes of most humans. A pair of pirates stepped forward and pulled the captain onto her feet.

Then Revak's hissing voice spoke again, "There is a settlement three klicks to the east. Start walking lass, I don't kill people for the pleasure of it."

The woman blinked, startled... then began to trudge off toward the sinkhole port of the Utapau.

As the woman began to fade into an indistinct shape Revak's comm chirped. With a hiss of static Troyr's voice spoke to him from his lapel, "Revak... There's a Stalwarth in orbit, it seems they're sending down some troops to the crash site."

"Schlist, Turn up the shields to maximum and expanded the protection bubble... That should buy us a little time." With that Revak shut off the comm and yelled, "Alright lets start packing up... Get that cargo loaded up as quick as you can, and get the liberated slaves inside, we've got visitors coming..."

Calra frowned as the shield bubble of the Ion Dragon expanded to protect the crash site as well. She hefted her Plasma Carbine and hissed, "Visitors... lets hope they don't want a fight."

"Then let us prepare the next move presently, Master Vrook and Sir Gunther," Iria offered, as Gunther prepared to land the Omega-class shuttle.

"Freya, we're coming in to land presently." Gunther said over the comm. "Have you made any contact with the others?"
