Dain glanced towards the other side of the room. "Well, if you'll excuse me." Standing up, he patted Tellus' shoulder. "Get some rest. Your friends will be back."
Vahn turned his head to the side, catching Raven a bit off in the distance. He stood there, not sure of what to say. So he decided to wait until she noticed him, that way they could both head back to Tellus.
Seems like I'm not the only having a hard time...

Tellus nodded meekly, not sure what to say really. She was more then a bit confused by the days events but decided that the fatherly old man was probably right and laid back down.
"Who are you, devil. Who are you?"
Her eyes closed as she simply laid there waiting for them before popping open, the bright green flashing dangerously. Lifting her body with one arm, she moved out of bed and ran out the tent, blind to everything around her as she tried to get her orientation once more to find out where Vahn had taken her from when she had collapsed. She had to find her maki. She just had to.

*Sighing sadly Rave looked up and cut off the wind with a mental command, finding it harder to stop the gusts than it had been to let her anger out through her power.
Reaching into her claudical space she pulled out a long black scarf and tied it tightly over her hair, fiery locks pulled away from her face and hidden under the black material, just a fall of red down her back and out of the way, as she dusted herself off and wiped away a few lingering tears... time to get back to the work of the living.*
People to save, or kill... sooner or later we all have to pay the butchers bill...*The old rhyme whispered under her breath as she turned and spotted Kas slowly walking back towards him, pushing her shades back into place, chaotic orange eyes hidden once more* So, where do you need my skills most, or should I ask where am I most likely not going to get burned at the stake as a witch for using my powers to help these people? sweatdrop

His arm reached forward, fingers stretching towrd her face. She might have wondered for a moment what he was going to do; she would soon feel her glasses being tugged off.
"Don't hide them... your eyes, that is. You have nice eyes..." Folding the shades closed, he placed them into the palm of her hand, pressing his own against hers. "I have some things to wrap up here... and then we can go look for Sunstrike. I wouldn't feel right if I let you two just wander on off."

eek *Hono blinked a few times, wondering for a moment if he had found a new way to pick fun at her before she simply took the compliment at face value and smiled softly at him hanging the shades on the collar of her shirt* sweatdrop heh, just tell me when you are ready to go... I have noticed that I tend to just blunder around when left to my own devices...
*Rave shrugged a bit her smile only half hearted as she tried to keep from asking what the hell they were going to do! Sure finding Sun sounded like fun, but the entire purpose of looking for Sunstrike had been to find Kas after all... and now it appeared that he didn't know how to help Tell any more than she did!*

Running a hand against the side of his face, he turned away. Walking back in the direction beyoned the ruined walls and towards the tent, a finger ran the length of the scar on his face.
It was true he may not have been as much help as they had wanted him to be, but it was purely unfortunate. He didn't profess to have all the answers after all, and he still had a lot of trouble of his own to deal with. He remained silent about that fact though, seeing as he didn't want to involve anymore people... let alone see anymore friend's get hurt.

*Rave trailed along in his wake, happy to let him lead the way.. She didn't like feeling so lost, and he had always been better at taking charge of a situation than she was... after all Hono was a healer, not a warrior* I'm sorry to have brought more trouble to your doorstep sweatdrop

"You didn't bring anything that wasn't already here." He said somewhat hollowly. His voice was nearly cracking because of the fact that he was now recalling the two that had appeared within the city...
"He's just more of the usual trash..."
His knuckles tightened as he made a fist with his right hand, although it was brief. "It hasn't exactly been safe around here lately."

sweatdrop just like me to be a party crasher, but I can help clean up the mess too...*Rave looked down at her feet feeling rather stupid, after all he was still Kas... and she could still remember the first time she met him, and how he had managed to scare the hell out of her and awe her at the same time. It was hard to think that there was anything that she could help him with. In her mind he was still the dark knight and she was just a little bird...*

He half turned his head in her direction, his pace slowing down a bit.
"So... where's the rest of your family?" He somewhat knew about her, Tomorrow and a few others; considering that when Efreet was in him, so was the quasi-monumental knowledge of the universe... or whatever.

Tellus scrambled around the ruined city until bumping into one of the people who had fought. Almost stumbling over the poor man, she finally got some kind of direction from him as to what happened where and headed that way, spotting her maki shortly thereafter. Picking it up, she swung it around a few times before resting it behind her right arm in a faintly defensive position.
Removing a ponytail holder from one pocket, she pulled her now black hair up into said ponytail, letting the wild tendrils move wildly about her face. She was weak, but she still felt alive. At least more so then she had previously. Lifting her head up, she pressed her fingertips to her lips and blew a kiss at the sky.
"I was foolish love, forgive me."
Before turning around and attempting to head back to the tent where she had been so she could wait for Vahn and Hono, hoping that was all it was and wouldn't make them wait on her.

I...*she blushed a bit suddenly wishing that her hair was not all tied back so that she could hide behind her hair*... I left my children with Tellus's, back in Durem. sweatdrop
besides them, I have no family...*she shrugged a bit trying not to think about Night, or even Nedy... neither of which she knew the whereabouts of.*

"Mmmn. If you say so." He wouldn't press any farther, considering the fact that he really wouldn't have felt comfortable discussing it either.
"I suppose we have a lot of catching up to do, all things considered."
He soon spotted familiar blue locks, and scowled slightly. She stuck out like a sore thumb, honestly.

Tellus' black hair moved in the slightly breeze as she looked all around her. Despite the heat and everything, it was still beautful to her. She kinda wished she had visited sooner. LIfting her arms above her head, she stretched her arms out high and moved her body so that every muscled was pulled out and then relaxed. Then she let out a very childish squeeking yawn. Glancing about to make sure no one was witness to it, she blushed and continued moving back towards the tent.
