"Ariel?" Shira didn't recognize the name. Come to think of it, she barely knew anyone her really, other than Rouge. She'd only been able to call others because of their names being thrown around by others.
"...No idea who that is," She said the last part with a bit of defeat. She couldn't put the name to a face.

"Be quiet, batgirl." His voice wasn't exactly...angry when he spoke to her either. Zah liked the girl and while Yashi wasn't a huge fan, upsetting her may upset his friend and she wasn't ALL bad. "And I'm not mean to all girls. I like Makana."
He wouldn't voice what type of girls he didn't like, though. That would just lead to more issues. The nosy woman was damn lucky he didn't voice what he thought and instead picked a few choice words to say. He was in the mood to kill someone else as well.
Shiras words made his eyes narrow and ears lay back. Another twitch on Zahs shirt. He didn't like this one, for the same reasons he didn't like most girls. Uppity b***h.
"Kay, c'mere. Let me see your foot." He finally sighed, letting his free hand move from the vine-girls hair to the air, motioning t Kay. "Broken? Cut? What happened?"

"Don't think it's broken," Coailiann answered, leaving her sister and hobbling over to the fox boy she had known pretty much all her life, "But I did do something to it when trying to kick the cupboard open when I was trapped. And something cracked...Kept walking and running on it and I swear I think there's some glass in it too."
A good ******** day to be barefoot, that was for sure. The breaking of glass hadn't been expected and she hadn't even thought about it with all of the commotion. Now that she thought of it, her skirt was ripped and her knees were bleeding too.
Crap.

The elf had finally found a bow lying around. Whether it was pulled out of the once warded closet was unknown. Strapping the bow across one arm and over the opposite shoulder. The elf left the training room and headed back toward the play pin to check on his Treeling. "Oak, you like your a little upset?!" The elf reached in and picked up his rough barked skinned boy.
Oak just gave a grunt and grounded part of his face into his guardians shoulder, but half of his face was looking around Kyocho's arm. Staring at the fern girl with his drab gray eye.
Kyocho gave a sigh. He was going to miss Neveah, already had she been through so much… but now she was gone. Kyocho just hopped for the best for Zah. "It sounds like the garden's is going to get torn from here to there. I guess we'll just have to help out and replant stuff. What do you say Oak?"
A smile grew on Oak's face.
The elf took a seat on one of the sofa's and let out a sigh. The sound of the children in the distance seemed to make things more livelier. "I think everyone just needs a snack. I wonder if there is a kitchen around here."

Kishi ignored Yashi knowing full well he was being nicer than he could have been, none the less her hand gripped tighter around her wand. There was so much stressing her at the moment though most of it was pushed to the back of her mind as her self preservation instincts were taking over. She had no doubts that when this was over she'd break down and lose her mind for a while.
Looking over at her sister she winked " I'm ok, jumpy but ok." Kishi had every intention of dragging her sister into her sessions with their father later. It unnerved her to see her hurt without no way to help her. A little training might have helped her escape her cupboard with less damage.

Zasalamel shook his had slowly when he was asked if he was hurt. He didn't hurt physically - well, his knuckles were still sore from breaking through that wooden door earlier - it was more of an emotional hurt. He didn't have to answer...Yashima did it for him, of course. He quietly watched Yashima and Shira bicker back and forth, and then, finally, he rested his gaze on the little girl that had hugged his leg. He didn't like girls very much, though his dislike was more fear than the dislike Yashi held. But...he did understand why she hugged him. Right now, girl or not, at least people cared. Reaching out, he pat little Artemis on the head, as if to thank her. Of course, Kishi got a small smile from the little hug she'd given him.
Of course, the Drow had seen Oak make his grabby hands for attention...and he'd been about to do something about it when the boy's guardian showed up. For a moment, he just stared at the elven man...and then his attention went back to the vine girl in his arms, and Yashima. Kyo knew Ilhar, didn't he? The Drow was just starting to realize just how many people they did know, and how hard a few of them would take the news.
"Ah...Yahshe..." He piped up, lifting his chin and mouth from the little girl's head. He didn't know why he'd called his friend's name at first, but it was probably a feeble attempt to get the fox to stop fighting that strange woman. "Lasse feemayle..." He started awkwardly, using the undercommon word for "Leaf" in the place of her name...he didn't know it, after all. "Wuht hahpen...tu hurr?" Her guardian was gone as was his...but he still knew how to get home, and he had people waiting for him. Did she hae one, too? Or was she the only one?

"Then maybe you should sit down, Kay... We can get Iamel or someone to look at it." He gave her a stern look, moving just slightly away from Zah - just an inch or two - in order to wrap his arm around Kays waist.
The girl was leveled down onto the ground to lean back on a random object somewhat comfortably* and it was then that Zah spoke. Golden eyes snapped back towards his friend, ears pricked foreward.
Then the question.
Yashi was silent for a long moment, chewing at his lower lip. "She'll need to find a new Illhar, I think," He murmured, one hand reaching out to touch Zahs face gently. "If she doesn't, she can come home with me? Tousan has room... And you too. And your crazy brothers. No one will be alone."
Patrick would not be pleased to know his house had been extended as a guest mansion to five children, not in the least.

The elf shifted in his seat. "Kay. You guys have a kitchen here right?" The elf piped up from over on the sofa. Still clenching tightly onto his charge.
Oak began to doze off, but his sleepiness wouldn't last for too long. Just a quick nap... then maybe... a few snacks... then... The treeling conked out. Drab gray eyes covered by bark and skin.
Kyocho rubbed his hand across Oak's back.

Coailiann smiled slightly as Yashi helped her sit and was thankful that her foot was no longer under pressure, "Thanks..." And then Kyocho asked her a question and she lifted her head to look at him.
"Kitchen...? Yeah. We have a kitchen...But the electricity's out, the lobby's a mess, and that's the only way to get to the kitchen."
That brought on a whole new fear. They were, officially, without food. What if they had to stay there?

Art didn't appreciate being pushed away, but she appreciated the spider elder for his head pat, She knew he somehow understood. The lady who had picked her up and Kishi had approached soon after, and Art took to hugging Kishi, as she knew that the strange pinkish fox elder didn't want her near.

"Well that scratches that plan. Unless you just have bread and some peanut butter... but I'm sure we could work our way through this mess if we really had to." The elf nodded.
"We can't let you three and the others go hungry now could we?"
The elf smirked. Patting Oak on his head gently. A few leafs fell from his hair and onto the sofa. Picking up the leaf and staring at the fibers.

Slowly, Vana shifted her gaze from one person to another as they spoke. The words were all far beyond her young understanding, but the sounds were of comfort, even when the tone they were spoken in was less than friendly. It was unsurprising, then, that the little Lesidhe was unable to comprehend the offer the fox-child had just made, nor be properly appreciative of the sacrifice he was willing to make for the sake of the two orphaned ghost-children.
She was, however, very aware of the company and reassurance that he and Zah were both going out of their way to provide for her. She just didn't know how to say "thank you" yet.
Her chest rose and settled in a deep, elongated sigh, her mind settling in a peaceful place at last. Fluttering her eyes shut, the babe looked as though she were beginning to doze off, her grip slackening at last.

Shira looked around. While watching everyone converse and such, she realized she was terribly out of place here. She knew nothing of these people here, where they'd come from, this place....essentially she was useless.
With that she smacked her forehead and huffed. No need to go emo, Shira. Get a ******** grip on yourself.
Artemis had taken to Kishi, and so she let her stay with the girl. Kyo had stated his plans to obtain food and Shira simply sat and listened to him and Coailiann speak. Then she saw him play with a leaf that seemd to come the baby's....head?
"Not wanting to change the subject or anything," She licked her lips, "I mean, Ican help you out with the lobby if you need me to Mr...."

"Oh thank you." The Elf's eyes moved over toward the woman speaking. "You can call me Kyocho by the way." Kyo nodded.
"Zah, Kay, or...Urm.." The elf tripped over his words.
"I haven't recalled meeting you before. Sorry, but could I get one of you three to watch on Oak while we get things cleaned up and hopefully find our way to the Kitchen?"

Yashima's answer seemed to satisfy Zasalamel, thankfully. The Drow had tensed when Yashi left his side, even though the distance was very, very small. He just nodded in response to the words; he wasn't going to lose his siblings after all this. As anoying and crazy as his brothers were, they were still his family, and he adored them like a Drow should never adore a family member.
Then, the talk of food. Zasalamel wasn't hungry, his appetite seemed to have ran off with his willingness to talk. But he did notice Vana's grip on him had relaxed, and he knew she was falling asleep...and that he understood and that he agreed with. He was tired, too. Slowly and being careful of the girl's vines, he sat down cross-legged, letting the girl rest against him as well as on his lap. It would be more comfortable, he imagined.
"Keyshe, Yahshe...Lasse?" Kyo didn't know his friend's names, but he did...so he couldn't help himself when he finished off the introductions. Of course, he didn't know Vana's name, so 'Lasse' worked just fine for him right now. "Cahn wahtch." The Drow agreed from his seat on the floor. After all, as long as Oak was near his white hair that baby would be happy, right?
Besides, baby or not, Zasalamel felt it necessary to gather as many people around himself and vana as he could.
