He was intrigued by Brayden's comment of a sword but now was not the time to ask. Instead he devoted his effort to annalyzing the pokemon about to batttle. He had slightly modified his pokedex and used it to record every aspect of the pokemon while he mentally recorded the trainers movements as well.

Chloe was more than a bit startled to see a Lantis look-alike staring her down. Although he was of a darker hue.
"So you have a Latios too," she murmured, before motioning to Entreri.
"Ready?" she inquired. Entreri scoffed. Of course he was prepared. The Weavile stepped forward, prepared for orders.

"Well, we thank you for the first move, but we're still going all out," Chloe declared, pointing to Entreri, "Alright, start off with an Ice Punch!" she called. Entreri was instantly in motion, dashing towards the dragon. His claws began to glow with a pale blue icy aura.
The Weavile leaped once he got close enough, using a quick push off of the branches of a tree to gain the necessary altitude to strike at the dragon above. Entreri slammed into Shadow with an uppercut, icicles shattering from his claws upon impact. The Weavile then spun, landing easily as he dug in, scratching up a thin layer of soil as he slowed his motion, coming to a stop once more before Chloe, smirking, as if in challenge.

Brayden couldn't help a smile. He always enjoyed watching Chloe battle, mostly because he liked to learn what he could from the more experienced girl. But she always seemed to enjoy herself, even in the midst of a tough match.
He had a feeling this new masked guy couldn't stand a chance against the bond Chloe shared with her partners.
"You can do it, Chloe!" he cheered with a whoop, smiling as he continued to watch the match.

Chloe grinned, glad to see her friends behind her. "Thanks!" she beamed, "We'll be sure to teach him a lesson, right Entreri?"
The Weavile smirked, offering a nod.
Entreri ducked, shielding himself with his claws as he dropped into a defensive crouch as the Latios' blast of flame surrounded him. The Weavile growled, taking a step back as the Dragonbreath died down, shaking off the remnants of the attack with a grimace. He still had plenty of fight left in him, however, as Chloe nodded.
"Keep at it," she instructed her partner, who nodded, "Follow through with a Faint Attack," she called.
Entreri vanished from view a split second later, melding with the shadows as he struck at the Latios with equal speed, slashing at the dragon with gusto.

The flames of dragon energy flared brightly around him once more, as Entreri endured the blast, growling low as he prepared for a counterstrike. Once the flames died down, he looked to Chloe, ready for further orders.
"Alright, Entreri, we've almost got him now," Chloe called, "Finish it off with one last Ice Punch!" she called. The Weavile nodded, dashing towards the dragon once more, ice forming around his claws again. He lashed out at the Latios, slamming into him once again, putting his icy claws to good use as he punched into the dragon.

Entreri was engulfed in the blast of water, sputtering as he came up for air, soggy, miffed, and more than a little ticked off.
"Wea-VILE!" he shouted, growling at the Lugia. Chloe called Entreri back, however, knowing he couldn't endure another blow like that one.
Instead, she reached for Daimon's Pokeball, summoning the water dragon to the battle in Entreri's stead.

Chloe nodded, smiling faintly, "Alright, Dai, we've got this one, use a Dragon Pulse!" she called to her friend. The Kingdra nodded, smiling faintly, before charging up his energy, forming a blast that shot towards the Lugia in an arc.
