At the sound of the deep voice near by, Panya stopped, sinking low to the ground. Since she was a cub, though she tried, she lacked the silent walk of an experienced hunter. "No.. " She squeeked before covering her mouth with her paws, pressing lower to the ground.

 He winced at Bala's last comment but chose to ignore it as much as he could. No point getting angry now when there was someone else around.
The rogue lion felt a tender smile curve his maw at the reply he recieved, tongue flicking out to ease the pulsing throb in his grazed nose. Then with a light-hearted chuckled he stretched out further and blinked his hazel eyes. The small squeak of a voice sounded young and cute. A cub maybe?
"Oh okay, so I guess this is my consciense or something? Coming to tell me I've been a bad lion." He swished his tail around to curl against his hind leg and glanced through the grass. Could he make out movement amongst it? Wow this little one surely was good at hiding.
"Hey..." He lowered his voice again so it was nothing more than a whisper. "You playing hide and seek?"
Apparently he shared the love of cubs that Maawio had.

 She paused at the light-hearted chuckle. It sounded like an adult's voice, though she could sense no malace from the figure beyond her sight. soon two pink-grey ears peak up from the tufts of grass and two Maroon eyes are vixible through the swaying strands. She was well at hiding due to her being alone for a time after her pride was taken over by a rouge lion and she alone was the only cub to excape with her life. being younger then also ment she wasnt able to share in the games most cubs learn about quickly. She paused for a moment before speaking again in the quiet squeeky voice. "..whats hide and seek?"

 Laio hummed softly to herself as she loped across the northern borders. She had been haunting the Southlands for weeks, finding prey easier, or maybe it was just her greater experience coming into play. The young juvenile never seemed down, and her reddish form could often be seen darting across the savannah after some swift hare, or lying in the shade talking to a few birds she had made her acquaintance of. If anything it was lack of company she lacked; since she had left her family, she had seen only one other cheetah.
Licking a shred of rabbit from her sharp teeth, the female peered around for some shade.

He smiled as he saw first two round ears rising up above the grass, and then caught sight of the cub's maroon eyes, finally picking out her shape that had been hidden only moments before. Then when she spoke her voice was quiet and he brought both ears forward to concentrate on what the little one was saying.
"You don't know hide and seek? Oh It's a great game...well let's see if I can explain. You have one cub who searches and all the other cubs hide, the winner is the last one to be found. It's usually played in a group. You by yourself?" He raised his head and glanced around, seeing no other who could be a sibling or parent.
"You have a name kiddo? I'm Amari." He flicked his tail once more and shook the dust from his mane.

Her small body slowly relaxed as the larger lion began to explain the concept of a game to her, ears twitching forward. Raising enough to sit down she looked up at him, eyes sparking with curiosity now that the fear of being eatten had vanished. "Yeah.." She spoke softly, voice still a bit squeeky, though its not as much so now that she knows he means her no harm. "My name is Panya"

"Panya." He smiled, hazel eyes sparkling with a softness that was his true self. There weren't many lions who had seen this kindness in him. It was either mischief or annoyance.
Still lying down he extended his forepaws further ahead of him and lowered his head upon them, mane hanging around his face. The wound on his nose was still throbbing but he managed to put that aside for now. "That's a pretty name."
Then with a yawn he took one more glance around. "You got seperated from your parents?" He didn't like to think of a cub all alone like that. Even he had not left his family until he was a juvenile and that had been a terrifying experience. This little cub probably didn't want to be left alone like this.

A small smile crossed her tiny maw at his words. "thanks.." She said as she watched him closely. she was only about 2-3 feet from him now, and no longer hidden in the grass. As he spoke again, the smile dissapeared and her gaze became downcast. "my pride was taken over..I was the only cub to excape.. " She said quietly, right forepaw kicking a small stone infront of her.

He crawled forwards a little on his belly, grass crackling beneath him as he reached out to sniff at her tentatively. Then as she spoke he felt his heart become heavy and cold. The poor little thing had been through so much already and she was so young. The world was truly a cruel place when it sought to harm little ones.
He moved closer still, slowly so as not to frighten her and brushed the top of his head against hers. "I'm sorry to hear that little Panya, the world can be a terrible place." He too had suffered at it's claws...and yet he had also found joy. "But don't forget that there are good things too."
A quiet purr started at his throat.
"I'm heading to the pridelands to meet up with a dear friend of mine...well my mate actually." He managed to surpress the slight embarrasment of the statement. "You are very welcome to join me until you become old enough to head out into the world again."

Her muscles stiffened slightly as he inched closer, but she relaxed again fairly quickly. Closing her eyes she nuzzles back softly, relaxing farther at the pur. As he spoke she looked up at him, nodding a bit. She knew the world couldnt be all bad, though she hasnt seen much of the lighter side of it. "I can?" she asked quietly, ears perking forward. Could her life alone have come to an end for now atleast? No more cold nights alone, fearing of being eatten when she let her guard down for sleep.

Asi lazed on his side, eyes shut, sides heaving up and down as the sun blared down upon the lands. He was laying close by a mostly eaten carcuss, Syeira was curled against his stomach, purring away and fast asleep. His tail flicked a bit and he shifted, afraid to move too much because otherwhise he might wake his little darling up.
He peeked open an eye, wondering where his mate was, or perhaps the boys. It might be fun to play a little. He sighed softly, he hadn't seen his two friends in a long time, and it was starting to become disheartening.

A pout, thats what the small charcoal mug on the lion cub expressed. He was being held in his mother's mouth, not being able to weasel his way out of the ivory jaws. "Lemme go." The voice whined, twisted and turning as he spotted Asi in the distance. "DAD!" He roared out, though wasn't very powerful. "Tell mum to leave me alone." He hissed, once again, trying to vanquish himself from Ari's jaw.
Ari rolled her eyes, dropping the cub with a loud 'ompf.' She stood behind him, ready to grab for him again if he started running. Nudging the look-a-like cub, she walked towards her mate, reaching down to nuzzle him, and smile at their sleeping daughter.
Denahi, in the meantime, spotted Syeria, and was about to get for her ear when a swat from Ari stopped him. He snorted, sitting down with a huff.

Asi chuckled despite that his mate and his son might not like this action. "Aye, leave 'er be, she be sleepin' yew. Yew do no wanna be woken when yew be sleepen.. eh?" He grinned and slowly moved away form the sleeping girl, nuzzling Ari and licking her face once, in a playful manner. "So, wha' yew been up ta, lad?" He swipped at his oldest son, what a handful he was.

"I'd probably hurt the one trying to wake me up," Denahi muttered, looking away from his father for a minute. "Wha' have I been up to?" A smirk seemed to rise upon his face. "Well, a little bit of this, a little bit of that." With the this and thats, he used paw motions towards the left and right. "Met some kid who was scared of me."
"Hurt, some kid who was scared of you, more like it." Ari scoffed.
Denahi pretended not to here his mother, his voice speaking louder so his father couldn't have glimpsed it. "But yeah, thats it!" He said, pouncing on Asi.

He chuckled at his sons actions, until the scared cub part came. Well, rather, the hurting of the cub. "'urt?" He growled slightly, and when Denahi pounced him he wiggled a bit, trying to get him off. "Whaddya mean 'urt some lil' fraidy-cub?" He scoffed.
