((sorry I'm late everyone! xp ))
Koho nodded, purring slightly as she realized she did not know this youngster. The pride certainly had grown. She kept silent, allowing the king to handle the young cub, she didn't want to seem to forthcoming. She watched as her brother padded away with the cub and shook her head, a smile lighting her face, since despite the rain, feeling like she belonged again lifted her spirits greatly. Standing from the sitting position she had aquired sometime during the conversing she started towards shelter, since know that Mufasa knew of her homecoming she hoped he wouldn't mind her attempting to evade the rain. Knowing her brother, he wouldn't mind. He was a good king, and Sarabi a good queen. Speaking of the lioness, it would be nice to catch up on what had been going on in the pride since she had left. Speeding her pace she soon found herself within a few feet of the large den the lions called home.

Lightning Shadow X The little kit smiled a little, realising the lioness didn't mean any harm to her and her bushy fur tail wagged silently side to side as she spoke to the golden lioness. "Mu-Mufasa brought us here...until the rain settled...and besides...he taught me that not all lions are bad...unlike those mean Firekin..." The small ball of fur's ears flattened agaisnt her head and she looked down from the lioness, not knowing she was the queen, but still sad of the memories of her family being slaughtered at the paws of those murderous creatures. "If my mate brought you here, there is nothing wrong with you being here. What is your name, little one? I am Sarabi." She dropped the honorific, even though she was entitled to it. It had never really mattered to her one way or the other if someone chose to greet her as queen. She raised her golden head as Maawio came and left, following the cub with her eyes. Those same eyes took on a spark of fire as she saw her mate, Mufasa. Their union had become one of love, and she cared for her mate dearly, willing to follow him no matter where he went or what he did. He was speaking to a lioness she hadn't seen for quite some time. What was her name....? Sarabi couldn't quite bring it to mind, and decided to ask as the lioness rose and started toward them.

When Athari came bounding after Taku a short while later, he stopped dead at the sight of the little fox cowering near the adult liones, and didn't hesitate, springing forward and getting between the two, although the lioness' attention was already elsewhere. Eyeing her steadily, he nudged at Taku, "you alright?" he asked with concern, for once forgetting to keep up his appearance of unattachment to the kit.
((he still doesn't trust lions..call it a natural suspicion xd ))

Vashtya When Athari came bounding after Taku a short while later, he stopped dead at the sight of the little fox cowering near the adult liones, and didn't hesitate, springing forward and getting between the two, although the lioness' attention was already elsewhere. Eyeing her steadily, he nudged at Taku, "you alright?" he asked with concern, for once forgetting to keep up his appearance of unattachment to the kit.((he still doesn't trust lions..call it a natural suspicion xd ))  At the sound of another creature, Sarabi turned back to look at the fox kit and her new companion. "Oh, Hello. Who are you? Are you friends with this lovely little fox?" She cocked her head slightly and her tail twitched.

((Why do my free days become 'volunteer Shannon for manual labor' days. ;-; *snugs Zoe* Sorry again.))
-He followed along after her , just barely a step behind, so his long legs wouldn't take him out in front of her with his step. He shook his wet fur gently, in the dying rain, he still felt heavy from his trip to the Pridelands, and he hoped.. that the dying rain was a good sign of the sun coming again. Putting his focus back to helping the cub, he glanced about carefully, before calling out in his loud male call.- "Wingu.."
-Where could she have gotten off too? He'd swear before he left that she was almost ALWAYS within sights distance from him. Padding along lightly, he shrugged to himself. Maybe she didn't he'd returned, or perhaps she'd found a male of her own to persue these days.-

Eyeing her steadily, he nudged at Taku, "you alright?" he asked with concern, for once forgetting to keep up his appearance of unattachment to the kit.((he still doesn't trust lions..call it a natural suspicion xd )) Taku shook her ehad and then looked at Athari, did he actualy care if she was frightened, she took a gulp and smiled at the leapord cub softly. "Y-yeah I'm ok...she's really nice actualy..." She then jumped on the cub and playfully started to knaw at one of his ears, making sure not to break the skin that lay under his soft fur.

Athari remained cautious, but bowed his head politely at Sarabi. After all, it wouldn't do to be OVERLY rude. "Pleasure to meet you, ma'am." he muttered, not sounding overly pleased at all.

As the cool stone became dry under her padded feet, Koho looked up, her amber eyes taking in Sarabi, queen of the pride lands and an old aquaitance, "Queen Sarabi, it is an honor to be seeing you again. I am Koho, returned from my solitary travels to the pride lands. Your mate and my brother, King Mufasa has granted me permission back into the pride, the dear, I hope you don't mind me attempting to groom months' worth of rain out of my coat do you?" A smile lit the young lionesses features, found memories rushing back at the smell and feel of the cave again.

Sarabi's eyes lit up as the name clicked with the face of the lioness before her. "Koho?" She smiled happily as she rose to rub her cheek against Koho's. "Its good to see you again, dear. Its been quite a while, hasn't it?" Sarabi's purr was strong in her chest and her eyes shone.

Sarabi chuckled as she turned back from Koho to look at the little fox. "Koho, this in Taku and Athari. They said that Mufasa has given them shelter here from the rain. Taku giggled nervously only now remember how she went head on with the back of the cave, and then smiled softly at Sarabi. "Well actualy we found a lot...but the end of the cave found me...hehe.." She then cleared her throat and looked over at Koho before wagging her tail softly at the sight of her.

((SO SORRY FOR NOT BEING HERE. Would anyone mind if I bounced right in?.. I can't remember where I was last, so I'm just going to start over, ^_^;;;
Oooo, Sarabi is here! *shwee*))
Sarafina casually padded up to the den and out of the light rainfall, shaking off the excess water (likely though unintentionally onto her fellow lionesses) as she hastily stepped inside. As soon as the storm began to weaken, she had thought it best to go stretch her legs for a while. Now what did she have to show for her walk? She was soaking wet! Perhaps she should have thought it through a little more..
The lioness glanced around the den as she looked for her cub, but instead spotted her friend Sarabi speaking with.. A leopard and a fox? Odd.
A playful grin inched across her elegant muzzle as she gracefully padded over to the Queen, making sure she was close before shaking her fur once again and settling her limber form into a sit. "Hello Sarabi!" She greeted cheerfully as the water from her coat sprinkled through the air, innocently licking her paw as though it was an instinctual reaction. "How are you this fine day?"
