Marcus sees Christy run into the room, and turn his head away, trying to save her some of her dignity. "Who, and where" Marcus asked, starting for the door, to chase the man down. "Should I try to catch him for you?"

Marcus stops. "Alright. What happened?" Marcus asked, while trying not to look directly at her.

Marcus looked at Rachel and at Lynn. "So, what's been going on the last 4 years while I've been lookin for you? Wait....maybe that's a bad question to ask. What is going to happen to me now? I don't even know what's going on. Could someone just give me a quick rundown of what the hell is happening?"

Lynn ran to get Christy her water. Thankfully, it was still on the table. Handing her her water, she ran into her room and quietly got a shirt out her her dresser. She was careful not to wake Aideen. "Here Christy." The fan in the room seemed overly loud for some reason, and she felt that she could hear her heart pounding in her ear. "I don't know what's going on myself..." She said, speaking to Marcus this time. Still in awe that he was actually there.

"Nice way to talk to a hurt friend." Rhys says joking a little. He know he had to be careful with what he said. "Have you talked to him yet? Because I don't want to be stuck in her because he is mad at me." He looks at the officer; he had turned and was talking to another officer.

"No I can't! That fat guy's brother is in the cell."

"I'm sorry, this call has been disconnected from the receivers end."

"What? R..." He stops, not wanting to say her name. "Really?" He says acting like the call never ended. He quickly hangs up seeing the officer was still looking away, and then picks it back up pushing in the same code the cop had used. It gives him a dial tone and he calls Monty’s cell.

"This phone has been disconnected do to lack of payment. Please con..."

Rhys slams the phone down.

"Pay your ******** bills Monty!" Rhys doesn't even realize how loud he was. The office stands up and walks to Rhys. "They never answered, let me have another call."

"Can't." He frankly remarks then pushes Rhys a little to get him moving. He leads him into an interrogation room then waits until Rhys sits. He then leaves and Rhys waits.

"Better then the holding cell." Rhys mumbles to himself.

Calista finished talking to the store clerk and carefully picked up her bags, making sure that she didn't put too much strain on her wounded left arm. Saying good-bye to the clerk, noticing the large clock over the counter that read 1:00am in bright red letters. Sighing she turned to the door. She would have to walk faster on the way home if she wanted to get a few more hours of sleep. Thanking the clerk as he opened the door for her, she stepped outside and headed home.

As she walked around the corner the dark car pulled out from the curb and drove up behind her. This time she noticed it. Glancing behind her at the sound of an engine, she stared at the car as it drove past her. Shaking her head as it went around the next turn, she paused trying to remember where she saw it before. It finally dawned on her. The same car had been parked outside her apartment building a few times in the last few weeks. Glancing around, Calista knelt down and pulled out her laptop. Sending off a quick fax to Rachel telling her about the car na dwhere she was, she turned off the computer and put it away quickly. Looking around again to make sure no one saw her, she continued. It was important to act normal, to act like nothing was amiss. But she couldn't help but scan every car the drove by and the ones parked by the side of the road. Struggling to remain calm as she rounded the corner, a small sigh of relief escaped her at the sight of the empty street.

Walking quickly, almost in sight of the apartment building, she gasped in pain as a hand reached out of the shadows of an alley and grabbed her injured arm. Before she could react, a hand clamped a cloth over her nose and mouth. The stiffling sweet sent from the cloth caused her mind to waver and she dropped her shopping bags to the ground as she struggled to get away from the strong arms that held her. Her body started to limp from the drug and lack of breath and her eyes began to close. The last thing she saw was the street connected to her street by the opened ended alley and the dark blue car.
