((just a word of advice, this is a 3rd person RP, so type as though you're writing a story in the 3rd Person preterite. Therefore, say "entered" not "enters". Thanks))
Kefka flicked the channel to Gendis and Zendia,
"Who the hell is this guy, and why is he on my wing where Gendis should be?"
Awaiting an answer on that channel, he changed to the new fighter's channel.
"Uh, who are you boss and why are you on my wing? I ordered shield trios and I already have mine, so unless you cant find two wingmates, though I do see Logar and Jarik without one, I would adivse not approaching me. My orders were clear. Now pull back to them."
Kefka switched down the comms for replies and glanced down the view screens to laugh. It was literally a mass of green headhunters literally crawling across to a group of red headhunters crawling towards them.

Artemis, seeing the 4th piolt atempt to form up with lead, turned on his com. "Hey new guy, get your sorry little rear over to my wing before lead there decides to blast you out of space him self. And remember what I said earlier. No manuevering thrusters or you'll come apart."

Orrin started running the program for a 1 v 1 duel. Making a few passes, he saw that the Ruby twelve was number twelve for a reason. Toying with him a few minutes, Orrin let the computer run the simulations on which course was the best to take. While simple maneuvers, he discovered the computer worked quite accurately. He compiled some more data, doing more complex maneuvers to reload the simulations. Soon, he had too many options, and decided to end the fight. A quick shot took out number twelve.
Orrin reloaded the computer sequence, and watched as eleven took on 9, as he sat out on the action.
"Damn the orders, I don't do wingman well..."

Kefka waited and finally, there was engagement.
The Ruby leader immediadiately went preying after the new guy who formed on Kefka's wing, so Kefka took after Ruby 5.

Veran spies the ruby pilot coming up on his six and pulls to the right and evades the incoming blaster fire and breaking formation activates come to his flight leader "Emrald seven, I have a bogey on my 6 request permission to engage, over?"

((Just a quick note, incase some one thought I was joking, a quick snap-roll would probably pull your fighter to peices, keep that in mind))
As the fight began Art and his wing quickly ended up on a head to head against 3 members of Ruby. switching over to torps and diverting all power from his engins to his shields, art fired two off in a quick burst. They detonated meters in front of the the oter ships. using the explosion to mask his movements he gave the engines a quick burst that propeled him above the path that the three fighters would emerge from the cloud along. When they shot out he had a perfict bead on them. HE let lose with his lasers, which chewed on of the opposing ships to peices. Now that evens the odds One of the Ruby squad members tried to make a quick turn and climb. His ship came apart on him.

Zendia little green headhunter approached the fray, just within mere meters of Kefka and Gendis. Rusty tweedled slightly, knowing which Ruby was the one whom Zendia had a personal vendetta against. "I see him, Rusty," Zendia snickered. Clicking com to the rest of the squad, she announced, "Boys, have at the rest of the Rubys. Four is mine!"
Doing some quick thinking, Zendia told Rusty, "Allright. I don't want this crate to fall apart while in vacuum, so, ease the engines to seventy percent, with the remianing power to shields," Her targeting computer then zeroed in on the "sweet spot" on Ruby Four. Zendia then squeezed the trigger for all she was worth, watching the concussion missle soar towards Ruby Four.

Unable to maneuver properly, Kefka tried a very subtle tactic. He killed his power. Drifting in space, the Ruby pilot slowed down, pondering oin whether to take the kill. At that moment, Kefka turned on, and dove down then ripped through him with his lasers.

Veran pulls out of his 3g right hand turn throttling up and transfering power to his sheilds. He then targets a nearby rubby and releases a salvo of lasers on the side of ruby 2 the energy blasts splash on to the ruby''s sheild, he banks to the right avoiding an impact with the enimy fighter taxing his fighter and damaging his steering controls.

Gendis was getting a hang of the new craft, and tried a tactic he was surprised no one else had done: he expanded the field of his inertial compensators. He drew some slight power from lasers to do it, but he didn't plan on using them much anyway. Now that he was free to move as much as he wanted, he tore after one of the Rubies, he didn't care which, and broke formation in the process. He made a beeline to pass over him, totally draining his lasers to power his shields and engines. Then, with an abrupt maneuver, he pulled up and soared in a perpendicular, then parallel formation with the Ruby. The Ruby, trying to copy that maneuver without assistance from I.C.s, promptly split his craft apart. Gendis, having become satisfied with this test, commed everyone else. "I got Ruby 1. Well, he got himself. Here's a tip, expand your inertial compensator fields."

Kefka smiled at the fact that Orphan just zapped Ruby 1. He tried the trick and found he could maneuver a little more easily.
Then he realized that Stardust was going after Four...
"Psycho to Stardust, I hope you know you're going after Ruby Lead, over"

"Thanks for the tip." Art said over the com. system after ajusting his compinsators. of all the people I would have thought Doc. the one to come up with that trick, oh well, guess I'm going to have to get in touch with him later.
Pulling his ship around he noticed that his wing man was gone. Damn, where did he go. Guess I'm on my own. Pulling back a little ways he watched the fight that was developing before his eyes. That was when he noticed a Ruby squad member was pulling around and lining up on Zendia's tail. "Star, watch out, you've got a Ruby on your 6 who looks like he's out for blood no matter what the cost." A he spoke the Ruby pilot let off a flury of lasers and a missle at the female pilots ship. "Star, Incoming, go eva.!"
