Kallisto nodded and paused as she moved to sit down, attention drawn by the pillar of the light. Her eyes widened, glittering as the spell set off and she stepped forward, the castor gun Dameron was wielding making her grin all the more. Excitedly she patted Grave's shoulder, "Look, he's got a castor gun!"
Belatedly, she realized she was still standing and flopped into her seat. "Wow! What spell was that Grave? I'm not good with these things."

Astaroth nodded, his attention switching from Danna to the duel inadvertently as he watched Dameron stand firm against Elias' spell. He paused though, sucking in a breath, "Music? What does that do?" He leaned forward trying to piece together the subtle cues given off by the two. Although the display was beautiful to behold he was more interested in the how and why.

As soon as the duel began, Yambati found that he couldn't look away from the two lovers. While he still didn't understand the purpose of the whole exercise, why people would come to watch it... made sense.
And in a way, he wouldn't have minded being a part of something similar. He wouldn't have minded dueling... if it could look this precise, this graceful.

Antigone mewled softly in her seat as she watched. "We should all feel horrible, for witnessing such a private thing... And yet, I can't look away. Such beauty... Such passion, such grace, such power... It's enough to make even someone so red-skinned as myself green with envy." Cash laughed softly, turning his gaze back to the arena, for fear of what he might do if he kept looking at Lior, while such strong feelings of passion coursed around them. "Such a silly Sanguine... You're already that lovely."

Passion. If only Antigone knew, Aysel thought to herself, how often she herself had referred to her lover as her flame...the embodiment of passion, beauty, and warmth. Unable to speak such things well to her, however, Aysel merely leaned over, pressed her lips gently to the shell of the girl's ear, and whispered lovingly, "My passion.." She hoped that Anti would understand.
It was almost a dance, the graceful movements of the duel, between two so fantastically and thrillingly beautiful fighters. Aysel's heart ached for the beauty...both physical, that of the lovely professors..and that of their attacks and defenses, and the magic they controlled. And...the music? Had..Dameron just sang an attack?

Grave murmured softly, not taking his eyes from the fight. "I don't know, honestly..." He hadn't gotten to take Magic tHeory yet. But he felt a twinge of recognition at the Castor Gun and the Tome, and the little subtleties the two professors added to their actions, the music, the gestures, the colours they chose, the work with the sword... The way it all fit together took his breath away and molested his Melancholic mind with thoughts of possibilities. Danna stared bug-eyed at the pentacle of light, and watched, dismayed as it seemed to be twarted by little more than a note of song from dameron. It seemed there was more to this duelling than she had assumed. Amazing, all the things to see. She felt as though she were missing a great deal. She reached out and clasped Astaroth's hand in hers, eyes glued to the Arena match. "Me too! Me too!" Cyphr squealed, bouncing in his seat. He began to throw fists in the air. "Yah! Get him, Elias!!!" He howled at the top of his very powerful lungs.

As the shell tore through the air, Elias moved to get out of the way, but unable to move backward in all his coils, he tried a dodge to one side, and it wasn't far enough. The Shell exploded into his flanks in a brilliant flash of blue light, and the length of Elias' body shuddered as he felt his energy dip and sway due to the blow. Trying to pull his essence back under his control, Elias activated the technoring on his shoulder and after a split-second shimmer, disappeared.
In response, Dameron activated his shoulder technoring, and a massive technowing unfurled its wires and metal blades and pumping down in cohorts with his leathery singular wing, Dameron pummeled skyward. He smiled softly to himself and carefully watched the arena below for some sign of his lover. He'd managed to land the first blow of the fight. What would Elias do now? ((Alright!! First task of the event!! The first three people to successfully name at least ONE of the attacks or augments used in the duel so far will be entered in the draw for the MAIN PRIZE!!))

(( Tome (Spell: Tome enables the Grimoire Castor to record spells in code so that only he or she understands their meanings, causes the book to open to no one but the author, allows the castor to open the book and immediately find the correct spell, (saving time in casting), and causes it to have innumerable pages so that no matter how many pages are torn out to be used for card casting, the book will never empty. Any pages used from a casting book charged with the Spell of Tome count as magical parchment.) , bardic magic, Moon ( Spell: Moon enables the castor to 'light dash' from one location to another. It enables the castor to appear to teleport from one location to another. It is usually used to evade attacks, but if used to preface an attack, the attack must be faced and cannot be evaded.) ? xD; ))

((xD The only one I'm sure of is the Moon. >> No hints neccesary but I do want to know if the information for the various things are indeed described. 'Cause there are large sections with just a title but not a description.
And I suck at these things anyway. ^_~

((Moon has not yet been used. The spell Elias used has no write up.
A hint: Dameron uses Grimoire Magic, Elias uses Ritual magic.
Also, keep in mind AUGMENTS! that is to say, technoequips, and the other classes the profs teach, like literature...rhetoric, music, cooking, the likes...
I'll just take the first three correct answers, you just need to get 1 right to be entered! come on, skie, keep trying with more guesses!))

Well, the technoequip that Dameron used was the techno wing. I don't know about the others. ^^;
