Kinami raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really? Would you like to place a bet on that?" She move to fold her hands, then began to twiddle her thumbs.

Atsu glided into the office and, apparently having walked into something he shouldn't have, turned and stepped back out once it was at least acknowledged that he was there. He stood and waited outside the door, his gentle white eyes betraying the scarred headband he wore.

Etna looked the Kage over...what was her game now? Hmmm why did the kitty have to be a gambler? "What are the stakes my dear? I don't play for chump change. Especially if I have to wait 2 years for my returns. Interest is a b***h you know." She said as she laid down and sighed gently looking to Roy who was now foaming iat the mouth. Poor kid and his overactive imagination.

Kinami looked up briefly at someone who walked it, and then raised an eyebrow when he left just as soon. Obviously, someone wanted to talk to her. Keeping her eyes on the door, she addressed Etna. "How about I answer any and every question you have completely honest and you may go where you will if either of us has to beat the other off with a stick," she offered. "That is if you win. What is your counter offer in this bet?"
((Kinami seems to raise her eyebrows a lot. XP))

((when Atsu told the Jounin guard he was from Yukigakure, and showed him his marred headband, he got right the ******** out' the way. sorry i didnt roleplay it out, hadnt realized i'd need to))
Atsu sat, waiting outside the office. He wondered if he would be allowed to smoke here, but then realized he had no smokes to do anything with anyways. He would readjust himself, and put his katanas against the wall beside him.

Mmmm, you really want to wait that long for information? By then, I could have already found my information out and left. I tend to bore easily...besides..." She looks over to Roy, "He doesn't look like he'll survive long enough to see the bet to its end. I wonder what you'd do at that point if he was made...inable to reproduce?"
She smiled at the boy who almost seemed to have his soul rising form his body by now.

Kinami sighed. "Yeah, you're probably right. I'd just have to go find someone else, then. I mean, I tend to bore fairly quickly myself. If he can't keep up with me, I'll need to move onto bigger fish." As an afterthought, she added, "I'm probably too much of a woman for him to handle, poor guy." She gave him a mockingly sorrowful look.

Etna caught on to Kinami's little game and decided to play along, "Hmmm dear don't flatter him so much. I know 6 year olds who are probably too much 'woman' for him. The boy simply has no clue how to treat a true woman. Specially not one like a Kage. I commend him for coming out and saying he loves you though. Although...I wonder if it was a thing of the moment or if he even understands the words."
That struck a cord in Roy's heart. A kunai went flying and just barly cut off 3 or 4 hairs from Etna's tail. "Don't ever say that again...I may not know as much as you two or be able to comprehend as much as you too...but I know how I feel..." Roy soon stands up, his face neutrual now as he walked over to Kinami. He looked her over. Being so young and having been in his own little world, he didn't notice that she was only joking...he took her seriously. "So...you think your too much for me to handle? Then why are you with me? Is this really just a joke or something to you? If it is...please just tell me now..."
Etna grew quiet...she didn't expect this from the boy.

Kinami watched Etna scurry away, then stared at Roy as he approached her. She leaned forward as he said his piece, leaning on her elbows and folding her hands calmly. When he finished, she thought for a moment, composed her answer, then replied.
"Don't ever say that," she replied, her voice heatedly neutral. ((Good luck figuring that one out)) "I know how I feel. Why are you with me? Is this a joke to you or something? If it is, let me know, so that I don't get hurt needlessly again."

Roy looked up to her. Her defensive side was kicking in. He had struck a cord somewhere but he didn't know where. All he knew as that, for once, he wasn't the one in the wrong. Although to Kinami, there was no telling what he had done this time. More or less, it was still his fault.
He looked to her, "Don't try to turn this on me like I'm some sort of horrible person or something. If I was horrid, why would I have tried so hard to be with you? yet, after all that, you can still say things like "I'd just have to find someone else then." and "If he can't keep up with me, I'll need to move on to bigger fish." He had a good memory when he was pissed...to bad it didn't carry over to his normal day to day.
"I told you paint blank how I felt that day before we went to battle...and you told me but if you can say those kinds of things so...so easily..." tears began to well up in his eyes...he was hurt...badly.

There was a reason why Kinami never fought with Tai and Mat- she was a word thief. If she heard someone tell her things that applied directly to them, she'd take their phrases and turn them around onto their creators. It was a talent she picked up one day and hadn't gotten rid of.
"Don't try to turn things onto me. I'm not a horrible person, and neither are you. Why would I try as hard as I'm able to otherwise? You ought to know how my emotions work by now. A little teasing never hurt anyone."
She unfolded her arms, placing her palms on the desk."When I say something, I mean it. I told you point blank when we fought and I meant every word. It's not easy for me to say anything like that. If you're going to try and work things out with me, you need to know right now that I'm not as good as you are at expressing my emotions. "
"You know how long I've lived behind smiles and laughter." She stood, her gaze piercing his own teary stare. "You know what happened to me. It's messed me up, and no matter how hard I try to fix it, it's now a part of me that I will never completely get rid of." Her voice, which had been rising, escalating nearly to shouting.
She leaned forward with each emphasis of her question, "If you can't live with the way I am, then why. Are. You. Here?"
