Hey everybody! I live in the Shuswap and I think I know what your chicken problem is. You are either cooking it too hot or there is just a little bit of blood and that's no need to worry. If you are cooking it too hat than it doesn't take long to cook the out side but it isn't long enough to cook all the way through and thus you end up with burned on the outside and raw on the inside. If it's just a little blood well then that would be because a chicken was a living animal at one time and thus would have blood. Duh. Asd for your potatoes..... how did you screw up mashed potatoes?!

mystic_emerald I don't know much about schools for the culinary arts but I think I have heard of one at AI (Arts Institute). I don't know where it's located......it could be the one Calida mentioned. Btw, I love your avvie Rockstar. surprised heart

Calida Shazbot_the_Pirate Deimos Great, an expert to fire my inquiries at. Why is my chicken always frozen in the middle despite being in the oven, at high temperature, for such a long time? Same question for my mashed 'taters. Secondly, why does my Easy Mac. end up looking like a DNA sample from OJ's bedsheets? (Okay, that's a little disgusting.) I thought cheese was supposed to be yellow/organge. Thirdly, what's the deal with rice? I can take mine to art class and use it as a piece of molded pottery. Well, I'm not much for the chicken and taters, but I can help with the others I think. For the Easy Mac: You're probably using White Cheddar Easy Mac. If not, then.....well.....O_o And the rice: simple rule with rice and it's ilk. What every amount of rice you use, double the amount of water (ie: 1 cup rice = 2 cups water). ALright I think I've just found myself a maid! When are you ready to work? *to himself* ((maid? O_o)) Heh, sorry. The Shaz-Man is not for sale. (But you could probably rent him for a few hours. $20.00 or 5 pounds of meat plus shipping and handling.)
