Samara heard the large oak doors close behind her. Gulping hard, she began to sweat. "How do I lie my way out of this one?" she thought. Being a con artist was one thing, but being able to stay one and still be on semi good terms with the X-Men was going to be difficult, especially if Xavier exposed her for the lying rat she knew she was.
She saw his face and her mind raced. "Hey there, Professor. Heh, long time no see?" And with that she was gone. Like a bat out of hell she raced through the long hallways, not having any clue in the world where she was headed. Knocking things over, pushing people to the side, she flew out the main gates.
"Why did I get myself into this?"
"Because you're an idiot!"
"I'm not an idiot, I'm just depraved and have an active imagination!"
"Shut the heck up and run!"
She had gotten into one of her infamous shouting matches with herself. Having little friends, she had taken up two personalities in the mind, who often would argue outside of her mind.
Samara ignored her body, pleading for her to stop. Nearly flying over the gate, she stood outside the X-Men compound, feeling rather happy she had gotten out. Brushing herself off, she began to walk leisurely back to the Brotherhood home.
Upon arrival, she saw many of her comrads staring in disbelief, just as she was. It was a wreck, being destroyed. "Fixin' it up, eh?" She walked over to the group, smiling eerily.

Lance stopped glaring as Pietro's fast disappearing figure just long enough for Valerie to throw in another one of her famous comments. It was sad to say that he realized Valerie actually had enough brain cells to make a decent point. Of course, the fact that the lair was rebuilt was a fine with him, but...considering Pietro is the one behind it all that it...you had to wonder how well this was going to work out.
The teen was about to respond to Valerie for a change when another Brotherhood member made herself noticed. Sitting in a bean-bag chair next to the tree, was the same girl who had conjured the brief, but effective fires in the halls of Bayville just hours ago.
"Yeah," he said, acknowledging plainly that he was one of, if not, the one responsible for the fight. "Name's Lance," he said, manners kicking in from way deep down as he briefly shook her hand in greeting. He let go quickly as a third female joined the group. She was rather creepy looking even by Brotherhood standard and had an odd 'Addams family' vibe about her. The fact that her leg was bleeding slightly didn't help.
"And who the heck are you?" Lance asked as he stared back at the girl, fists at his side as he waited for a reply.

She stared into his eyes, her face in a look of near laughter. Her eyes were large and blue with an almost electric feel. "I'm Samara, maybe Mystique didn't tell you I was coming. I'm who they call Puppeteer." She looked down at her leg, easily visible from her torn skirt. "You wouldn't happen to have a band-aid now, would you?"
Her red lips were posed in a vile smile, her dark and pointy eyebrows narrowing a bit. Soon her eyes began to turn misty black, and a dead arm began to reach out of the earth. Returning to normal, she had a pleasant smile on her face, and the arm reached back into the earth. Laughing shilly, she began to watch the construction crew with fake interest.

Lance's dark eyes stared back at "Morticia's" brilliant blue eyes as she introduced herself as Samara, yet another one of Mystique's new recruits. He had to admit, her attitude was impressive, rivaling Valerie's even, and her powers were formidable if not morbid. Oddly enough, the question of band-aids was now bought up.
"No," he shrugged, turning away to lean against the tree trunk, "try looking through that pile over there."
He jerked his head toward the pile of belongings that had been taken from the house prior to demolishing. Considering how disorganized the place had been kept, there was bound to be a first aid kit within the heaping mass. The challenge would be trying to locate it, of course.
"I'd start lookin' if I were you," he said smirking.

Valerie shivered slightly at the arrivel of the new girl, who's looks and bleeding creeped the blonde out, sitting behind Lance to hide which was somewhat difficult for the tall girl, despite not having many fears, Valerie had always been a bit afraid of anything occultish in looks or behaviour, Peering up behind the male, Valerie blinked with large blue orbs
"Umm hi?"
She tried her best to smile to the creepy girl, inside her body Mizu laughed at his mistresses stupid fear. He was the one to start it way back when he had first been 'born', making ghostly water figures to scare the young Elemental. He unlike her had only one fear, of Lightning which was normal enough for a being made of water.
"Im Valerie...I dont mean to sound rude but...where did Mystique dig you up from?
The blonde asked making a refrence to her powers and being 'dug up'

Damion followed blankly behind Lance and (not that it mattered to him) Valerie. He tried to listen in on the conversations as they happened in order to get some insight as to just what in the hell was happening but to his great disatisfaction knoone seemed to know. It was a little depressing that their leader was engaging more people than she could keep up with and so quickly but concidering he was one of those people he could hardly complain.
"I hate to interupt Lance but would you mind feeling Valerie and me in on whatever the hell is going on? That is, unless your busy with your freind here."
He hated to let is show that he was growing impatient but seeing as how Valerie always seemed to be in such a state he highly doubted that Lance was going to notice. Besides, he hated being in the dark more than being inpolite so he would have to manage.
"And what's with all these friggen TV cameras?"

Samara smiled in a strange way at Valerie. "Mystique found me in Scottland, where I hail from." Her accent was light and airy, making her sinister look even more chilling.
"I happen to like my powers, though not many are much of a fan of them. Not even fully developed, but they do help with household chores and they make for great human shields." Her large heavily make uped eyes looked down at the dirt lovingly, as though it were holding a grand treasure.
She proceeded to crack almost every joint in her body, her long black fingernails dancing in the sun. Looking at the cameras, she muttered something inaudible. Her painted mouth held in a titter as a large hand grabbed a camera man's ankle, causing him to fall.

"From what I can tell..." said Lance, scanning the scene slowly, trying to piece together an answer to Damion's, as well as everyone else's question of what was going on around here. Obviously, the camera men and boom-sticks (???) floating around meant that this whole event was going to be televised, city if not nation wide. Why anyone would want to redo the home of a bunch of rebel mutant teens and then televise it was any-one's guess.
Just that moment, the same man that had been seen chatting with Pietro moments before walked solemnly in front of the group of misfit teens. He paused briefly to glance at them before turning away, tearing shamelessly as he muttered on about 'the poor children'. At first, lance couldn't make head or tails of that brief sob scene, but as the man turned around and he saw the words "Ty Pennington - Extreme Makeover Home Edition" embroidered on his jacket, the whole picture came together.
"...the Brotherhood house is gettin' a makeover." He said, nudging Damion and pointing at the jacket.

Samara smiled, eyeing the camera like it was a wonderous thing. Her hand began to tremble as her mouth began to move.
"Go in front of it!"
"No! I can't, they'll yell at me!"
"But it would be a good chance to get on TV, you've always wanted to."
"Yes, I know, but I can't just go in front of the camera! It's rude and unnatural."
"Just like your personality, you freak. Nobody wants to be your friend anyways, so just go in front of the camera and scare the whole nation. It's bound to happen soon enough."
"If you don't shut up-"
"I can't shut up! I'm you!"
She looked back amidst the stares of her peers and grinned. "Sorry, they can be rather vocal!"
"And this poor, mentally ill girl here is just one of the many reasons this home deserves a fresh start!" Ty said, putting his arm around her as the camera zoomed in her face.
"Yes, yes, I'm mentally ill and terribly spooky! Oooh!" she said, making strange faces. "Get your nasty hands off of me."

Valerie gulped as her face turned from its usual tanned colour to a pale shade, looking up from Behind Lance she spotted the rather hyped tearful man in front of the camera, standing up the blonde looked at the camera and stuck her tounge out slightly, pulling her bottem eyelid down.
"Umm hi, thanks for the remake..."
She muttered nervously flashing a victory sign at the camera, starting to get over her initial fear or Samara's power, returning to her cocky state as if she'd never been a frightened mass before, the colour returned back to her cheeks. Putting an arm around Damions neck the blonde belly laughed and smiled innocently to the camera.
"We kids thank you very much!"

Zion smiled at the scottish girl. She wasn't the least bit creeped out or anything by the new female. "Don't pay attention to the camera crew, love." She said to the new girl in her heavy irish accent. The camera got in her face.
"And what do you think of your home's remake."
Zion scowled. "I think you should get that damn camera out of my face before I break it." The camera man backed off and they went off to film something else. In low tones to the others she said, "You should see Pietro and his ailment. He told them he was blind." The red-head laughed and rolled her eyes.

Kidd kinda stared back at Darius blankly for a moment. She thought it was odd for him to spill that much o his past with her. Normally it took a little coxing to open someone up, but he just flat out tod her his life story. She shrugged after a moment and assumed that he was just an open guy. the alterative, which was that their were becoming close enough that he would spill that with out a second though would make her blush so hard her face would exploded. "Ya, But I still don't by Bayville's all that nice of a place. I drifted from anti-mutant town to anti-mutant town , there all the and this ones looks suspiciously a lot like them." she yawned and stretched out. damn I'm board. you guys want to play a little game till we get there?"

She smiled at Zion.
"She doesn't seem to hate you," she muttered.
"She's Irish, she can't hate you!"
"Of course she can, if she really felt inclined to."
"Well, I think I might be able to befriend someone..."
"Yeah, when the world stops turning."
She turned to Zion, smiling. As she talked her tongue piercing became evident, her ears glittering as the breeze blew her hair. "It's nice to have someone not cower in fear or disgust when they see you. I'm Samara."

Dark Mistress Raven After he was finished with his cigarette Aaron popped a peice of gum in his mouth and went into the house. Looking around he saw nobody until he heard voices coming from the kitchen. He headed that way with his hands in his pockets. When he entered the kitchen he saw Narcissa and another girl that he didn't know. "Hey, alright if I join you girls?" He asked not knowing if this gathering of the two females was exclusive or not. "Hmm?" Rachael looked up at her. "Sure...just don't get really close to me. I'm still kinda sick." She turned and managed to get a paper towel over her face before sneezing twice. "Ouch....ooohhhh....I hate being sick. My eyes get all watery and my vision is bad enough without that happening." She groaned to herself fixing her glasses.
