Shea Post 7
After the strange hybrid left him he went about his business. Shea had to find his cousins. After all, if there was danger then he needed to be there to protect them, right? So he set out through the crowd and called out for Ujana and Padma. Of course he would eventually get lost in the masses.
((Shea is leaving the meta.))

Jakkoa || 4None of this was progressing how Jakkoa intended. He enjoyed festivities. Bright colors. Commotion. Great masses of people and exchange to be had. This was different. While he had anticipated trade and excitement and some foreign faces, there were far more here than he was fully prepared to deal with and now—now, these people. As tensions hyped up from confused to borderline battle-ready and Hargitt caught at his hand, guiding him along as they moved in, Jakkoa’s personal tension mounted from ‘there are too many foreigners and hybrids here for my taste’ to ‘these outsiders are not any shade of familiar and they might be deadly.’ His pulse climbed, his eyes narrowed, and as they wove their way through the crowd, he inadvertently pressed closer to his company. Hargitt was familiar. Hargitt was reliable. Hargitt was welcome. Everything else was becoming increasingly less so by the moment. Then, Hargitt released his hand, and some banal platitude of ‘ Be safe…’ was perhaps among the things he wanted to hear absolutely least in the world at the moment. “Be—what? No. Hargitt, we ought to leave together, now, immediately, don’t—do not just go off into-” Jakkoa’s teeth grit, newly-emptied fingers bunching into fists, and even his louder sounds of frustration were lost to the rumble of the crowd. This was not how he had intended things to progress. And now, he was alone.

Lilif Post 7 Lilif blushes a bit and sighs, letting go of Uli's arm and stepping back. She looks down as she now felt very embaressed at the fact that she clung to someone as if she was still a kid. She held her stick as she looks around at where the smoke was and her eyes widen at the sight of the.. Bird boats. "Woah... Those look cool" She said, a grin slowly spreading across her face. She squinted her eyes a bit and saw two girls who look very different from the from the few people she's seen so far. "Is that girl yellow?!" She asked with a gasp. Her eys lighting up a lot at the though of meeting a new person that's yellow. Her eyes were then drawn to the other girl. She smiles at the sight of the very pretty girl with the minty colored hair. "She's pretty as well" She says happily, wanting to meet them both. As she's looking at the two questions started to form in her mind about what she wanted to know. "Can we go get a better look, Li?" She asked him, Looking up at him with her puppy dog eyes. She's slightly bouncing with anticapation as she waited for his answer.

Ouen - 8
"I dunno." Ouen shrugged. "Can't rightly know how bad the damage is, can we? Mebbe all it takes is a little patch someplace or... well, I guess that don't seem too likely, what with all the smoke about an' all. Maybe they'll stay right 'ere? Seems awful complicated to move that wreck anyplace else, an' it ain't like Sauti's crowded."
It was a bit selfish, maybe, but Ouen would be perfectly happy to have the newcomers stay right here. He and Kalli would go back to Jauhar, where a flying ship couldn't even land properly for all the trees, and hopefully all this would work itself out in time.
"I just can't help feelin' a bit off about 'em. Technology. Hmph!"

Juno - 5
Juno listened carefully. Most of the questions being shouted at the newcomers were relatively polite -- a few were wary at most, but nothing downright hostile. However, deep in the crowd, much of the murmuring seemed a little hesitant. Tendaji folk were cautious about showing hostilities after all the conflicts they had suffered, but it was clear that some weren't quite ready to welcome a whole new group of strangers into their midst.
Juno understood their concerns -- and that was some of the thinking that had lead him to his question. It was near impossible to make a judgement about these people based on their words alone. But if someone could go back to their home with them... well, more details would be revealed. They'd be able to see if these strangers were indeed as friendly as they seemed, or if something darker lurked beneath.

Naqenni || 6You’re right.Naqenni glanced down. At long last—after the sea and the shore, beaches, deserts, crags, strangers and strange food, all leading to here—her mystic’s previous confidence and enthusiasm for the strange new world seemed to have suffered a crack. Fire descending from the sky and carrying with it troops of earthlings the color of wildflowers: this was what it took to give Nivalis pause. Though she had been leery of the trip from the beginning, and still had her reservations, she released a curt puff of a sigh at her mystic’s look. Niva was too young, and too precious to their tribe, for her new misgivings and disenchantment with the situation to be any variety of satisfying. At least now Naqenni could not say now that it had not been a waste to come, however: they did have worlds of new information to share with their tribe leaders and sisters. “Come,” she said, giving a gentle tug at Niva’s hand and glancing about the crowd to spot any abnormally tall heads among the crowd. Zayana had chosen to wear a cloak and cover herself at certain portions for subtlety, but still she towered over the earthlings even as a teenager, and would give Naqenni little extra trouble picking her out. “They are many,” she admitted, and upon no immediate sign of either of the other two sisters on a glance in the crowd, they had begun moving away from the potential dangers of the unfolding scene and back towards where Niva had originally suggested they reconvene. “But they fight each other as they once fought our cousins. They kill amongst themselves like animals and don’t agree. And they do not know of us any more than they know of these strangers. They are strange, and dangerous like this only, when all of their many are together. But each one is small and weak still. All of them are weak alone.”

Hargitt || 4
Hargitt slowly lowered his bow, loosening his hold on his arrow in the process. When it was clear that the strangers meant them no harm, at least none that their leaders could see, he slipped the arrow back into his quiver. It wouldn't do to point a weapon at a possible ally; and Hargitt had no deep desire to scare two seemingly young women.
Belrea...?
They had only just discovered Yael, and now there were more territories out there? Hargitt shook his head with a tired exhale. All of this excitement had him wound up for so long that when he finally relaxed a smidge he felt ready for a nap.
However, since they weren't being attacked anymore and the crowds were coming in...
He supposed he should address the man he left behind.
Even if he really didn't want to. Surely Jakkoa would see reason and understand why Hargitt left him, even though his parting words hadn't exactly expressed that specific notion.
Instead of asking questions, Hargitt faded back into the crowd and shouldered his bow as he walked. As others pressed closer he pushed through, looking for a familiar form until he finally spotted Jakkoa.
And he looked as 'pleased' as a wet perzi.
"Teenagers. It's flying teenagers."

Ujana ll 4
Ujana cracked out a laugh and reached out to playfully thwack Zyphire on the shoulder. "Cheeky, aren't ya? I like it." Straight to the point and open; that's how Ujana preferred her flirtations.
However, as she moved to follow him, the sky had other plans. For a moment she simply watched the smoke, mouth slightly agape before turning to Zyphire with the biggest grin on her face. One that borderlined madness. "Oh, I have got to see this! Come on!"
Without even waiting for his response the young woman took off through the crowd, carelessly pushing her way through, heedless of others, before making it to the front lines. From there she watched as current events unfolded, leading them to this moment.
One where strangely hot girls from the sky were talking about flying ships and places beyond the sea...
"Sheesh, there's too much talking..." Ujana groused.

Taijana ll 4
Kieran need not have told Taijana to stay close; she wouldn't have left his side for the world. Her heart was beating so quickly inside of her chest that she feared it would burst, and the ringing in her ears....Was it truly ringing or was that just the sound of stampeding feet, moving closer to an area she knew was likely plagued with danger?
Strangers from Belrea...? Taijana's breathing sped up inside of her chest. Ships didn't fly; ships floated. The only means of making a ship fly were with magic; dark, powerful magic. But these mainlanders were just talking to them like they weren't unholy spirits-
Taijana hadn't even realized how far she had slumped against Kieran until he spoke to her. Through her panicked fog she looked up at him, fear outlined in her features. "The spirits we guard against are never the ones that destroy us, Kieran; they're the ones we invite in." Her whispered hiss helped give her some back bone, though she was still dreadfully close to fainting.

Callum ll 7
Callum's lips quirked up into a partial smirk. "If only." He would like to have said this was part of wind tradition; something typical for their people, to drop smoking ships from the sky and paint their members bright colors for the sake of entertainment but it was not so.
"I think...that we've gathered a few more guests." Slowly, cautiously, Callum sheathed his sword. They had obviously tried making contact before, at least, from what they would have the crowd believe, which made them friendly.
He looked up to V'demhe, "What do you think of all this?"

Arron - Post 3 "You don't think they have an ulterior motive do you? Are they really peaceful? I mean if thats true its wonderful, but why be so excited to get here, meanwhile everyone here has forgoten or never knew they existed. I mean I hate to be the party pooper but I'm leery." Arron's eyebrow twitched and he climbed up where she had been for a better look see. She had always been good at finding proper vantage points. "I still don't like it."

Jakkoa || 5“You…” Immediately upon spotting Hargitt, Jakkoa knew he had words for the man, and his tongue was quick to leap on beginning them, but his mind took a moment longer to catch up and process. Admittedly, he hadn’t expected the other man back so soon, and had certainly feared for— Well, the worst evidently hadn’t happened. Hargitt looked well and healthy (if cross and unenthused), and didn’t appear to have a nick of hurt on him. That took some of the initial spitfire out of his opening, and he released his initial breath, frowning and giving the man another once-over before starting again, thoughts gathered. “You left me,” he accused, jabbing none-too-gently at the center of the other man’s chest. “You, of all people, cautious as you are, this place denser than I’ve ever even seen it and thick with who all even knows what, flying fire machines descend from the sky and the first thing you think to do is draw your weapon and leave me in a crowd of—what if you had died? What if they had been armed and dangerous and a shooting broke out? Or what if—” Jakkoa trailed abruptly off again of his own regard, frown returning as he processed what Hargitt had said. “What about teenagers?”

Heras Box Callum's tag is a little further up the page. I forgot to quote~ Sol ll 7
"I don't think you'll have to worry about danger." Even though they weren't there, the tone had shifted in the people around him. Less were being calmed and more were being invited closer to meet strangers. Or at least, observe them from afar.
Sol had to admit, as much as he disliked new people, he did want to see what was going on, but his papa would kill him if he left Masika and her sister alone...
"Do you...want to try finding our parents? I think it's safe."

Eirlys - Post 8 Given Huyana's past, the male got a long look from his wife before she nodded silently. The female kept her mind open as she looked over the two females. Once it seemed like they could finally ask a question she hummed. Debating if she should... She looked up to her husband. "Mhm...pretty..." she glanced back to where she saw Polaris' horns. She blinked as Devi jumped up on top to wave to her. "Well, the kids have more than one set of eyes on them..."

Issaly - Post 8 Issaly felt excitement through his bones as he bounced up. "Excuse me! Do you have any beasts that require healing with you?" He looked to Aysun. "I'm worried. If there's smoke there could be wounded...earthlings are easy to tend to, beasts are a little more difficult." He wrung his hands as Therus fluttered above him if the two females needed a signal to spot the one who spoke. Issaly wasn't that tall. Beside him, Ullyee slipped a little further ahead. Not that much as she didn't want to pull her lead tight.
