 Name: Jaxon Stage: Freshling Entry: Jaxon was never a fan of Language Studies. It wasn't that he disliked Lyra or anything like that. He just ... well, there honestly wasn't a lot that Jaxon did like. A word search, though? Jaxon could handle that. It didn't take long for Jaxon to submit his wordsearch in to the substitute teacher before the hybrid was on his way out of the class (without permission).

 Name: Altair Stage: Freshling Entry: Altair actually enjoyed doing wordsearches. He did prefer crosswords, but when given the chance to demonstrate his observational skills and his prowess with language he would never pass it up! Altair puffed up a little once, being the first of his peers to finish, and with his head held high, Altair strut his way up to the front of the class and dropped his completed homework on to the desk. The substitute quirked a brow at the smug expression on Altair's face, scanning over the wordsearch quietly before silently pointing out he was missing a word. The hybrid's face flushes as he snatched the paper back and retreated to his desk to find the last word. Only this time, the boy waited until the class was completely over before resubmitting his final work.

 Name: Castiel Stage: Freshling Entry: Castiel found wordsearches to be quote peaceful. While the fallen was saddened that their teacher Lyra was away again (at least not this time due to sickness!), the boy had wished she had been there. In truth, part of the reason why Castiel enjoyed the class so much was because Lyra was such a fantastic teacher. This substitute teacher, however ... wasn't quite up to snuff. Cas would have to tell his teacher when she got back home much he missed her!

 Name: Hasina Stage: Freshling Entry: Hasina was a quiet child. In fact, a lot of her siblings were quite reserved. Her family didn't seem to produce much in the way of daredevils, and her father's side of the family ... had some odd balls, but Hasina didn't seem to carry much of her father's genes besides his looks. Or, maybe she did ... she certainly wasn't as bold as her mother ... Hasina glanced towards her half brother, Castiel. He seemed content to work on his wordsearch, using a highlighter to pick out the words he was finding. Hasina, on the other hand, was struggling. The hybrid leaned towards her fallen sibling, 'pssting' to try and get his attention. She needed help ... maybe if she was stealthy enough she'd be able to get the answers. Castiel wasn't one to leave Hasina in the lurch, and the boy slid the paper closer so she could see, but did not open his mouth to acknowledge her, and didn't even look at her. Hasina cast her eyes downward, casting glances over to her half brother's page every now and again and copied his work ... thankfully without detection!

  Username: itsie bitsie spider Nightmare: Hailey and Malachi Entry: Scooting her desk beside Malachi, Hailey slid her paper close beside his. "This rocks!" she whispered loudly to him. Nothing was more exciting than an easy assignment in L.A.... not to mention being a game!
Malachi smirked at Hailey as she inched closer to him. Normally she'd be doing this to mooch off of him, but he got the feeling that she'd be doing this mostly for herself

 Username: itsie bitsie spider Nightmare: Popple Entry: Wriggling in her seat, Popple began working on her assignment right as she got it. One couldn't complain about an easy A sort of assignment. Highlighter in hand, she colored over the letters of the first word she found. Awww yeah. This was tops as far as classes went today.

 Username: itsie bitsie spider Nightmare: Sharkura Entry: Awww... Her teacher wasn't here. That was sad, but not only that, she had to be around someone new. That was kinda scary. At least the substitute didn't seem mean! When the word search ended up on her desk, Sharkura poked the tips of her fingers together, then grabbed her favorite marker from her pencil bag. "Okay... you can do this..." she said, encouraging herself before starting to look for the words.

Entry: Nadi was wrapped up in layers upon layers of sweaters, and was feeling mopey and a bit ill. ... Stupid winter. Slumping into her desk, she noticed her teacher was absent. Oooh, perhaps that meant and easy day! Nadinia grinned when she was handed a word search. This she could handle.

Entry: Niamh bounced into the language art room, looking forward to her class. Despite being bundled up in almost countless layers, she was still as perky as ever. Settling into her desk and tucking her legs under her, she was disappointed that her usual teacher wasn't there. ... But that did mean word search time! The tiny Fey loved word searches, and quickly applied herself to the task.

 Username: Geyser Eelborn Nightmare: Aurabelle Entry: Aurabelle was glad for a little bit of time to relax. Life had been a little too stressful for everyone lately. They sat down with their friends and got straight to work on the word search, methodically finding each word and marking it off in the box. When they were done, they turned it in to the teacher and returned to their desk to wait for class to end.

 Username: Geyser Eelborn Nightmare: Fenaret Entry: Word searches weren't the best thing to do in language arts, but Fena supposed that the teachers had been having as tough a time lately as everyone else had. So instead of complaining about it, Fena tried to look on the positive side--it was a quiet, relaxing activity that allowed him to play with highlighters. So why make a fuss? He pulled out his pens and got to work.

 Username: Geyser Eelborn Nightmare: Francesca Entry: A word search? Seriously? Why couldn't they have been writing a story or something? Oh well, you can't choose your classes, can you. Frankie grumbled, but pulled out some markers and got to work. Rather than turn it in right away, he doodled on it until just before the end of class. He turned it in just before the bell rang, then scurried out of class, glad to be free of that strange interlude.

It was just another day, so far as he was concerned--though his sister had warned him that it wouldn't all be crosswords and word searches when he got to be a junior, like her. Ugh. He shuddered at that very thought. He'd hate to have to be writing book reports like she was!

 Username: Geyser Eelborn Nightmare: Talya Entry: Talya sat down at her desk with the word search and a variety of pink markers with which to fill it out. She wondered how Miss Lyra was doing and how the conference was going. What did teachers do at conferences, anyway? Was it fun, or was it just dull and boring? She hoped that whatever it was, Miss Lyra was having a good time. Certainly she knew she would be tonight--less homework, woot!

 Username: Geyser Eelborn Nightmare: Xenophon Entry: Xenophon waved to the substitute teacher, then sat down at his desk and did the assignment. It was going to be a quiet day, which he liked--it gave him time to daydream. And with a new boyfriend, how could he not be daydreaming right now?! He relaxed in his chair as he finished up the assignment, savoring the lazy feeling of the day.
