"No, he's pretty friendly, and I'm sure he'd love to have a little costume making protégé, especially if it was that big of a help to you. I'm sure he of all people would understand that your alternative to working with him is less than desirable given what you're trying to do." Isis chuckled, though her attention turned to Theo as he returned. He hadn't yet battled another trainer, and that was concerning, which Leon soon pointed out. "Yeah... That's why I asked actually..." Isis mentioned. If Theo had some experience battling trainers then it would soften the blow that Viola could potentially deal if Theo wasn't as prepared as he claimed to be. "If you really think you're prepared then I won't bug you, but I would suggest, as Leon did, to try and battle another trainer first to see what it's like. I could even use one of my less experienced pokemon to try and give you an idea if you wanted." Isis offered, then thought over Theo's question as to what his new Amaura's name should be. "Hmm... Rin is nice, my vote would probably be for something like Aurora. That's what Amaura's head fins remind me of. Little aurora patterns from the sky~" She suggested with a smile.
The conversation soon dissolved into fabricating the story of how Leon and Isis met however, and Isis could no longer speak, face buried in Leon's chest for a good portion of their walk until she was finally able to calm down enough and straighten when Leon pointed out the cape as they approached it. She did have to laugh a bit at Dumuzi's pouting when Leon put an age limit on the storytelling, and laugh even more when Leon suggested that a young lady such as Dumuzi couldn't handle the hot and steamy acts he was capable of. "Mm yeah, better hold off on that multimedia presentation Leon." Isis quipped smugly, taking a look at the cape and pointing out that they should steer clear of the water but that otherwise they would be fine. Dumuzi did make a good point however that if they did find themselves in that sort of situation, Kai could probably save them. "Hee~ that's right! Kai would totally save us. Isn't that right Kai?" isis crooned, grinning at the Feraligatr, who looked rather happy to be brought up in the conversations again. Isis had to laugh a bit as Leon teased his starter a bit, asking if he was going to steal his job as well as all the hearts of the adoring ladies. "Haha~ What, you mean you didn't see this coming Leon?" Isis chuckled, pointing Kai out as he moved to Dumuzi to give her a sort of smooch. Such a cutie~
Isis followed Leon as he brought them closer to the dance party. The music grew louder and more vibrant now that they were closer, and Isis smiled, running over to the dance floor and hopping over the lanterns before turning to grab Leon's hand. "Dance with me!~" Isis giggled, giving a little twirl before letting go and grooving a bit via freestyle next to Leon. She wasn't the best freestyle dancer in the world, but the music was fun and she was in good company, so she really didn't care how her dancing looked; she was having fun. ✿ ❀

Result Giving the wheel a spin, Dumuzi found that she was rewarded with an impressive roll of 1o! She happily took her rewards and continued onto the next game.
Dumuzi offered Leon a soft smile and a bit of a tilted head. ”Carbink suits me? How so?” She was genuinely curious about the connection that Leon made between her and that certain pokemon. Sometimes people just had the pokemon that represented them, perhaps Leon found some sort of connection that she didn’t see? She hadn’t really thought much of which pokemon represented her in that regard… she just thought that the fairy type represented her in full, so she was interested to hear about which. Leon’s next sentence made an evil little grin crawl across her face. ”Sure thing, but let’s try and keep the midnight dirty jokes to a minimum please, I do have pokemon to take care of and beauty sleep to be had.” Leon was quite the character, she almost wouldn’t put it past him to have fun with or at her like that. He seemed like that sort of an older brother, the kind that would make you feel older with all the dirty humour and more adult teasing that he gave you… in a good way of course! ”Oh! Aurora’s a pretty name too.” Dumuzi replied to Isis’ suggestion, she tried to think of a few other names that might be good for an ice and rock pokemon. There’s Glacica too. That an icy sounding name.” Dumuzi tried to think of maybe one or two more but she was kind of drawing a blank when it came to this sort of thing, honestly most of the names that she knew of very well were all fairy names, and she wanted to keep those to herself so that she could name her own pokemon whenever she came across them… or they came across her, let’s face it – she only caught one pokemon, really and the rest had found her or found each other. She didn’t know if that was a testament to her lack of catching skills or that was a testament to her ability to gather her pokemon through sheer animal magnetism.
”W-well, I’m not sure about a costume making protégé, but maybe an aspiring seamstress to keep that corner of his workshop from collecting dust or being unused?” Dumuzi blushed a bit at the protégé bit, she had never thought of herself as any sort of major talent when it came to the needle and thread. Sure, she was able to hold her own when it came down to it, but she was a far cry from actually being an expert or ready to start a business or something like that. ”But sure, if you don’t mind and he doesn’t mind, I would like to meet him. He sounds like a colorful character that might help me with some inspiration for some of my costumes. Oh! How about something of Victorian era aristocrat for the beauty contest? It might take some minor alterations to the design and make it a little more modern but…” Dumuzi trailed off, her sudden brainstorm seemed to drag her into a deep thought as she thought about how she could make it work. Dumuzi perked up when Isis suggested that Theo battle Isis for some practice. ”That might not be a bad idea, Theo. Why don’t you give it a try after the festival or something?”
”You two make it sound like I’m only 7 years old or something. I am thirteen, so I’m fully capable of handling your steam… or are you just blowing some hot air in my direction, Mr. Leon?” Dumuzi replied with a scrunched up face and a playful glare sent in Leon’s direction, the mock anger and resentment quickly crumbled away as Leon’s eyebrows danced up and down and was quickly replaced by sing-songy laughter. ”You’re such a dork, you know that?” Dumuzi couldn’t help but giggle when Kai stood up and flexed his muscles. She gave them a soft squeeze before she ‘oohed’ and ‘aww’d’ a bit. ”Yep, he’s certainly going to be a good, strong one when it comes to swimming, I think we’re in very good hand… erm… claws?” Dumuzi grinned a bit and went along with the teasing. ”It looks like you’ve got some competition in the field, Leon. Maybe you should watch out lest our handsome young Feraligatr whisk away a certain blonde beauty in the group.” Dumuzi found herself the recipient of a pokemon kiss at that point and she wrapped her arms around Kai’s muzzle and gave him a hug, nuzzling her cheek against his snout as she did so. ”Heehee~! You’re so sweet.” Dumuzi released Kai from her embrace and straightened up to look over at the Dance floor. ”Ready to start that new dance craze, Theo?” Dumuzi chose to walk over to the dance floor instead of gambling the needed trajectory to get over the paper lanterns and what not. No, she would prefer the more lady like approach and walk around to the gate way entrance and then join the others that way. She didn’t feel that making a fool of herself so early in the dance would make her feel better about being here.

Dumuzi approached the ring toss again, she wrapped her sleeves around her arms as she usually did when it came to this game and picked up the rings. She pulled back and took aim before she let loose the first ring only to have it miss by just a little bit. Disappointed but not discouraged, Dumuzi picked up her second ring and gave it a gentle flick with her wrist. The ring bounced off one of the bottles but rolled onto another one which gave her a score. She would take that! Lastly, she gathered her third ring and focused on her target. With one more flick of the wrist she sent the ring hovering right over a bottle where it rested itself down gently, not even touching the side of the bottle. Dumuzi grinned, that was a good shot if she did say so herself. Dumuzi took up her 5 tickets and happily went off to her next game.

Dumuzi decided that little pinball might just be what the doctor ordered right now, she seemed to be having a pretty good day so far, at least, she hoped that she didn’t just jinx herself with that thought, but nor would she let get her down if she did. Dumuzi was having fun blasting that little orb all over the surface of the table. She got lost in all the bells and rings that welcomed her with every bounce and slam that she was able to get. By the time that she had done with her game, she was 7 tickets richer and she was elated to have such a great amount of tickets and even a damn good score to leave with. She headed out and looked for the next game she could entertain herself with.

Dumuzi was back at the fishing tanks with her paper net at the ready, she was looking for her next potential catch. After a while she found what she was looking for and went to dip her net into the water, she decided that this time she would try something a bit more… stealthy in approach to catching this pokemon. She reached down and around to try and capture her target, she slowly started to maneuver it into position to bring it up out of the water. So far there was no panic from the pokemon which was a good sign. She continued to guide it up towards the surface of the water, but at the last minute the pokemon panicked and broke through the net. Dumuzi gave an exasperated sigh but smiled anyway. She would have better luck next time, right? The fishing tanks were usually pretty kind to her, so a bit of a bad run wasn’t so bad. She took her single ticket and pocketed it before heading out for another game.

Dumuzi wrapped her sleeves around her arms again and took up her pokey weapons of balloon destruction. She had ten darts lined up and she plucked her first one up and started to get to work. She took her time with this round, not wanting to rush this and maybe get a good score this time. She was doing pretty good with this strategy too. One by one she continued to pop the balloons, missing only 3 times and earning her a total score of seven balloons popped which would result in her getting 6 tickets! Dumuzi pocketed the tickets and mentally calculated how many she had and grinned, only a few more to go and she would be doing good! There was one more that she wanted and another couple that she would have liked to get, but wasn’t going to be a big deal if she couldn’t get them.

Theo frowned. What part of "I don't want advice" did they not understand? At this point, it wasn't even appreciated. It was just irritating. Theo clamped up and kept his mouth shut on the subject. Besides, why would he battle Isis? It wasn't like wild and trainer battles were too different. Other than more sound strategies to deal with, in the end, the ultimate goal was to defeat your opponent. Chica returned to Alex and hopped up on his belly. She poked him in the cheek, but he just mumbled and rolled his head to the side. Looked like he was still sleeping, stupid gumball... Chica took a moment to zap Roxy for not looking guilty enough while she slept and then she hopped back to play the games some more. She still sucked at the ring toss, but she was getting better at cheating.
"...piiiiii." Chica stared angrily at the arcade machine and her lousy score. She shouldn't have gotten so cocky... She shocked the machine angrily, but it wouldn't give out any more than three tickets. She zapped it with more until the entire thing broke a fuse and started smoking. "PIII CHUCHUCHUCHUCHUCHU!"
Chica decided to take her anger out with the darts game. She only ended up more infuriated when, much to her disappointment, only a single dart made it.
Now that she knew the rules (or rather that she'd get called out for cheating) Chica played the fishing game fair and square. She decided after she failed that she really didn't like playing fair.
Chica made her way to the wheel of fortune with a plan. She had weakened the support for a large temporary building earlier with a well-placed iron tail. Now, just after she began her spin, the building collapsed. While the attendant was busy, Chica leaped up and grabbed hold of the bottom of the wheel, dangling while she quickly moved from peg to peg, using her meager weight to lock it in at a full ten tickets. She nearly yanked the ticket boy's pants down trying to get his attention for her tickets.
