Evelyn made a face as she turned off the shower and brought a towel off the rack to dry Ruji with. "He told us to watch out when we go back home." She made sure not to mess up his fur. "Apparently it's not very safe there at the moment. People are making up conspiracies... again." She sighed. Se was tired of the mistrust between family members, but she supposed until some of them stopped secretly planning malicious things, other people would not help being suspicious. "He seems stressed."

Ruji nodded, "indeed he is stressed. His parents passing, he felt pain for the first time apprantly, and now the most preashious item in his life, which will backfire on him I'm certain later down the road, is now being hunted by two people that are vary powerful in the first place. I realize the kid is mostly a loner... but he may need allies. that's where we come in if need be. And if your home is in trouble, it will mean trouble to us when we arrive aswell. We sorta have enough trouble right now. Perhaps we should astablish a plan for ourselves for a while?" He hated not knowing a mission to compleat. He was a man of doing things, cat or not. When finished getting dryed he nodded, "I appreshate the help, I miss having thumbs." He gave her a cat smile. It wasn't so bad, this moment here. Just him and her again, both messed up surely, but it seemed he liked it when it was just them now. Still getting used to feeling the emotion to like something of course.

Evelyn nodded. "You're right. We need to be wise about this. We don't want to go gallivanting in there with no knowledge of the situation." She made a face. "As for Kyle... well plenty of times our family have tried to reach out to him, he jut sections himself off. Doesn't want us to get involved because he doesn't want us to get hurt. The only one who ever got close enough to him was Kiiro, and she died. It's left him wrecked." She put the towel on the rack again and picked Ruji up, taking him back into the main room. "But you're right, this isn't a good time for Kyle. He can't be thinking straight. No matter how much he'll try to convince us otherwise."

Ruji nodded, "I think he might reach to us. We are different then those of the family I've seen thus far. And we know some of the situations at hand, at least the ones he's dealing with." He looked up to him, "I don't mind helping the lad. Even if it's only one time, I never expect anything in return for what I do no matter the mission. And apparently I will be part of this family in time, but I'm not yet." He nodded, "But if he doesn't, it's not good to pressure him further either. Will not force help upon him, or try to reach out to him too much like your family. After all, we are the odd three I've seen so far." he hadn't seen Veria and hanna closly yet to conferm that though. He nuzzled into her arms comfortably.

Evelyn sighed as she sat down on the bed, putting him on her lap. "Yes I suppose. But Kiiro was on a whole other level entirely." She spoke of her fondly. "She was able to calm anyone with just a touch. She stopped a war once with that trick." Evelyn smiled. "She was completely selfless, and the direct opposite to the place she came from. She didn't deserve a death like that. Kiiro and Kyle were very attached to each other. I fear if we try and reach Kyle now he'll only reject his family more." An idea popped into Evelyn's head. "But Kyle has a friend he lives with. Nate. Maybe we could speak to him. Maybe even Conor if we're lucky."

Ruji nodded, "agreed. Perhaps I will learn more about the small ones." He remember the one time he was with evelyn for the first time to save conner. "I havn't met this nate I think however..." He shrugged his little cat shoulders, "Didn't Yuji say he had a way to have Kirro return without the connections she had to lusifure?"

Evelyn sighed. "Nate's much more approachable. He'll be able to work something out with us." She pulled a face. "However a good question is how we're going to get a hold of Nate. He resides in Kyle's void almost permanently. He's the one who keeps it running when Kyle's away from it. Kyle's void barriers have amazing defences yes, but the consequence of that is that someone must be monitoring that. I suppose Kyle has a lot to protect in there." She frowned a little. "I hope he'll let Conor out to talk with us. Although I can imagine Kyle to be really protective over that boy." She then looked back to Ruji. "Bringing Kiiro back would be awfully complicated. I'm not so sure how it would work either. I mean what happens when fighting the seven princes is ultimately how the rest of your life is going to pan out. If you overcame your sin, you will be granted with good luck. If you did not, you were granted with bad luck."

*Rujis shrugged, "The child is still small, I'm unaware if he can even speak yet." He chuckled, "not that I know anything about them In the first place... it would be a good experience to learn perhaps for... in the futcher maybe." He nodded. "Hmmm... breaking into the void's defences would not help our situation. Perhaps... there's another way to speak with nate... through kyle."

Evelyn looked to him with a raised brow. "How do you mean? There's no way we're going to talk to Nate without Kyle knowing first. Hopefully Nate will figure out we want to speak to him." She then chuckled a little. "Conor can speak a little, he just chooses not to. I can tell he'll grow up to be the quiet type. So much is still unsure about that boy. Being Hikari and Yuji's son he'll obviously grow up to do great things just like Dante. But it's hard to tell how his rocky upbringing will affect that."

he shied," my idea woukd not work. nevermind. however there is something I expected of conner. I bekive yuji will make him a Prince at some point. Surly he will keep conner close to him." He nodded , " oppertunitys will come and go for Nate I'm sure. Just need to move on until we get the chance." He simply sqauted and rose his butt up to prepared a jump to the floor. He wiggled his butt and leaped! But unfotonly this time he leaked to hard and sailed across the room until he bounced off a wall with a " oooof" he shied on his back , ears drooped , " adventally I will have this."

Evelyn laughed as she went to help him to his feet. "You shouldn't be so eager to push yourself Ruji. One step at a time, okay? Jumping is much different on four paws than two feet." She sighed as she shrugged on her leather jacket and boots. "I just hope that Conor doesn't turn into the kind of person that lets other people rule his life for him. I want him to make his own decisions about things when he's old enough. But having such a powerful family he's going to be overwhelmed I'm sure."
"Don't tell Kiera I asked this of you guys but I want you two to do a job for me, is that okay?" Evelin looked to her brother expectantly before looking back up to Dante with a grin. "Of course uncle Dante! We'll do anything!" Dante chuckled slightly as he stood up straight and put his hands on his sides. "Good. Okay so the people here have been surviving well enough but we're getting a lot of cases of protein deficiency with the public. I need you two to go to the Forlorn Woods to go hunting and catch loads of meat to feed them. I would myself but things here keeps me occupied. Is that okay?" Evelyn blinked. "Where's the Forlorn Woods?" Dante raised an eyebrow. "It's a massive woods to the west edge of this kingdom. The woods itself is about the size of a small country, so you'll do well not to get lost in it. Take someone trustworthy with you, I don't want to be the cause of Kiera's kids getting lost in the woods." He laughed awkwardly.

Theador got all excited, " don't worry uncle donate the people won't go Hungary with us around!" He looked to evyiln however with a shrug, " but who do we take with us? Amealleia is buisy with grandma."
Ruji rose a brow and followed, " I wish to know how to use my new body incass our lives depend on it later. and you want conner? I dont think its your place to say. However this does make me wonder how you would act with a child. Would you make all those mistakes?" He gave smerk as he walked.

Evelyn scowled to Ruji, leaving the room. "I didn't say I wanted Conor. I am terrible with children. I lose my patience easily. Kyle's the best guardian that Conor can have at the moment. I've just seen too many Yokai children grow up in this family to become twisted and their desires so out of reach. You grow up with people telling you you're unstoppable all your life you may just start to believe it. Kiera and Veira had that problem. I worry now Kyle is following that pattern. I do not wish the same fate for Conor."
Evelin pulled a face in thought, puffing her cheeks out. "I don't know. I forgot that Amelia was busy." Dante crouched to them with a grin. "Take my sister." Evelin scowled. "What? Auntie Hana?" Dante nodded with a wink. "She just got back from a mission yesterday, she'll have nothing to do. I trust her to look after you two." Evelin frowned. "I don't." Dante flicked her nose. "Hey, Hana may be scary but she's powerful and she's still your aunt. She's helped you guys in the past loads of times." "I think that's the first compliment I've heard you give me Dante." Hana stood behind Dante with a small smirk and her hands on her hips.

Theador waved, " hey aunty hana. Looks like were going hunting!" He nodded, " well she's here so let's go get us some meat! It will asko make great training!" As always theador was his hyper cluless self.
Meanwhile Ruji shrugged, " you havnt lost much pasaints to me and you cimoaired me to one." He followed after her adrade the door would close before he could get out. Fear of doors... That was indeed a new one. " well I'm just learning about them myself as well. But I already have not liked what I've seen."

Evelyn sighed. "When you've watched the family as long as I have you'll soon come to see most of these things happen often. I've seen them all go through so much. This family just reeks misfortune." Her eyes thinned suddenly as they reached the outside. She brought her hand up to her chin. "Thinking about it.." She crouched down to Ruji. "Out of all the people who faced the princes.. who actually overcame their sins? Ours was wrath. We overcame that. Good luck should come to us. Mordekai and Demi faced sloth. They didn't overcome their sin so they died. Who else was there.." She struggled to remember.
Hana grinned, flicking some of her hair back. "That's right kiddies. We're going on a hunting trip!" Hana looked just as excited as Theodore, however she was a wolf so there was plenty to be excited about when it came to hunting. Dante stood up and looked to Hana with a straight face. "Look after them all right? I'm leaving their safety in your hands." Hana rolled her eyes. "You underestimate me." Dante frowned. "No, it's the forest." Hana looked to Dante with a raised brow. "Oh come on. Some old mythical forest ain't gonna be that bad." She messed up Dante's already scruffy hair. "You worry too much." Dante sighed. "It comes with the job." He looked back to the twins. He was glad those two were nothing like the twins him and Hana were. "Stay safe you guys." Dante then went to help tend to the public as Hana was left looking to Evelin and Theodore. "You guys ready to go? Forlorn Forest ain't a walk in the park. Lots of dangerous creatures lie there."
