Lillian was out cold and she did not know what was going on around her. Although, she thought that she was dying because of the burning feeling where the hyena-wolf hybrid had bitten her and unfortunately it had the biting strength of its hyena parent and had fractured Lillian's shoulder. Marcus had lifted Lillian into his arms and as he turned he took notice to Adrian almost immediately. "Who are you...? Oh, I remember you from those times that you delievered the things that I ordered. You friends with Lilly here?" he asked as he tried holding her and keeping pressure on the bite wound so that the blood did not keep flowing from the wound. "She had an unfortunate encounter with Old Davis... He's a hyena-wolf mix. He was part of a cross-breeding program and I was about to send him back to the others who gave him to me to care for, though I know what'll happen to him once they find out he attacked someone..." he said, feeling in his heart that it was his fault for leaving the gate open, though his voice was pained because he knew that the animal was more than likely going to be put down now that he'd attacked a human being.

Adrian stood and strode fluidly towards Marcus and Lillian, seeing the aforementioned animal. "You aren't the first to create an unusual hybrid, if you recall. Daishar, remember?" he said quietly. He knew the man would recall those conversations, since Adrian had come up with a few hybrids himself, primarily a fox-wolf hybrid that tended to have the body type and agility of the fox but the musculature and strength of a wolf. Daishar, however, was a Siberian Tiger-Lynx hybrid and was quite beautiful with silvery white stripes and deep amber-tan fur and blue eyes. She was the size of a lynx yet had the fluid strength and flexibility of a Siberian tiger. He knelt next to Lillian, unconsciously inhaling the sweet scent of her blood without thinking as his hand shifted the jacket out of the way as a faint prismatic aura swirled around his hand as the surface wound closed though he deliberately focused, not moving a muscle as he 'dove' into the wound and healed the damaged bones and blood vessels from within. Outwardly, it just appeared that he knelt next to her and looked at the wound. He stood slowly, ignoring by willpower the urge to lick the blood off of his hand and fingers.

Marcus looked up at Adrian as he got closer and he carefully laid Lillian on the ground, due to him being knelt down. "I know that. I just wish that more people would accept them like I do. And I do remember her. She was a very beautiful animal. he said as he got up and had to take a few steps back from Lillian, not because he was woozy around the blood, but rather the fact that he had to keep the other wolves back that were starting to look at Lillian as if she were a dead animal that they could eat. As Lillian's wound and bones were healed she felt a sudden relief, although she did not awaken after being healed. "You're probably going to need to get her home before her father has a fit, if he isn't all ready." Marcus said, knowing only too well how Lillian's father acted when something wasn't going his way; all the while he picked up the limp and unconscious form of Davis.

Adrian cocked an eyebrow as he lifted her in his arms before he glanced towards the wolves, who looked away. "They won't think of trying to harm her," he said quietly, well aware of the wolves' presence. "Go on, Rai," he said quietly, the eagle taking flight over his and Marcus' heads. "He left the house a short time ago, so I doubt it'll be a problem," he said with a faint smile. He stood fluidly. A low growling bark sounded as a dark charcoal colored fox that was a bit more muscular than was normal stood not too far from the gate, its dark charcoal fur gleaming like oil while the bronze tips flickered like sparks of flame in the sunlight. "Maikeō," he said with mild surprise as the fox-wolf hybrid snorted a low sound that sounded oddly like someone snickering. He and his twin sister Rōkai usually lingered around his cavern and he sensed that Rōkai wasn't far away though they were several miles from his cavern by the overland route.

Marcus watched as Adrian lifted Lillian into his arms. "I can take the car back to their place, though, wait did she bring the old dumpy car that she learned to drive in or did she bring that fancy, baby blue ferrari? If it's the old clunker I could drive that one, though I'd not feel comfortable in the ferrari, only because I'd be afraid of something happening to it and then I'd never hear the end of it." he said, asking to be sure which car it was. Lillian had taken one of the newer cars, though it was still fairly worn and the paint of the old silver car was even faded some. "Whoa... That's a beauty." he said as he directed his attention to the fox on the outside of the fence. "Well, I should get to taking care of these wolf-dog hygrids and Old Davis here and let you to take Lillian home to get some rest." Marcus said before walking toward the cave-like structure he'd built for the wolves to sleep in, leaving Lillian and Adrian so they could get home or at least so that Adrian could get Lillian home.

Adrian shrugged, since he wasn't sure what car Lillian had taken though he was sure that his enhanced senses would allow him to figure it out. "Like I said, you have some hybrids of your own, as do I, and he's got a twin sister nearby," he said as a head poked out of the ditch on the other side of the dusty road, sapphire blue eyes finding them swiftly. He half turned before pushing off and vaulting over the gate in two quick steps while only letting the toes of his shoes lightly touch the upper support bar as he twisted, somersaulting as he landed in a crouch next to Maikeō. He inhaled, his gaze flickering around before locking onto a weathered silver sedan. "So that's what she took... never drove a car before, but ain't like I don't know how to travel," he thought as he straightened and walked towards the car in quick, fluid strides. He got Lillian strapped into the car and carefully backed the car away though he wasn't all that surprised when Rōkai darted around the rear end and leaped into his lap before settling into the backseat, her sapphire eyes gleaming from the dark amber-gold fur she had with black tips though the tips of her ears were a deep crimson color. Both Rōkai and her brother were roughly two thirds the size of a German Shepard, but both were almost half again as fast as any wildcat. He sighed, unsure if Rōkai's tail swatting audibly with a smacking sound against Lillian's head would wake her up, though he was sure she'd be sore regardless from what had happened.

Marcus nodded at Adrian before returning to take Davis to the makeshift cave he'd made for the woves, leaving Adrian to take care of Lillian. Lillian, who was still unconscious did not awake until she felt like she was being beat over the head with a frying pan, repeatedly. "Oooh... my aching everything..." she moaned, her voice very soft as she felt something still thumping her head. She looked up and saw what looked like a fox, thought it seemed a bit too muscular for a regular fox. "What the...?" she asked as she came to completely. She wasn't going to scream because she felt that Adrian was right beside her, though she looked at the fox, or what she thought was a fox for a few moments before asking just where it had come from, tilting her head so that she could look at Adrian without having to move too much because she was aching everywhere, but mainly in her shoulder. 'I'm sorry I lied to you... And I'm sorry that I had your bird come get you...' she told Adrian in his mind as she looked away, feeling bad for lying to him.

Adrian shrugged, not to bothered. "Don't worry about Rōkai; she can be a bit excited with new people, though she's a lot like Roxy most of the time," he said as Rōkai turned, nuzzling Lillian as she settled in the back seat. "I was checking on Faith anyway, and she's okay, though sometimes she can get into trouble," he said with a faint smile; he'd just finished the run for Faith after she'd gotten a nasty graze with the PCs and narrowly evaded them by leaping over a fence though she'd caught her arm in the barbed wire atop it. He'd gotten to her and knocked out two of them though one of the others had leaped at him and nearly shoved him over the edge of a six story building. He had gotten the man off.... by throwing him off the building unintentionally before getting Faith free. She had some nasty scrapes and bruises, but was relatively unhurt. He shifted, wincing slightly as his shirt shifted, revealing a few bleeding scrapes and a nasty looking round second-third degree burn that was the size of a quarter.

Lillian looked up at the fox again before trying to pet her, though she was still a bit hesitant because she'd never touched a fox before, especially not one like this. "Roxy can kind of be that way too, you remember how she was when she first met you, well she was actually good for once and didn't jump all over you. But I don't know if she liked that I put you in her spot that she lays when I'm not using my bed too much." she said chuckling softly, though stopped because her head was throbbing. 'Ah... I still feel bad for leaving and not telling you where I was really going... And what happened...? I thought that thing bite me and I could've sworn I felt something shatter in my arm and shoulder...' she told Adrian in his mind rather than talking out loud, since that didn't make her head hurt as much as hearing herself verbally talking. as she did this she closed her eyes and wondered who she'd explain to her mother and father why she was out so late and what had happened to her. As she thought that her thoughts were conveyed to Adrian unintentionally, though she was too tired to care if he heard her or not.

Adrian shrugged. "We all have our secrets, after all... I'm not going to read your mind unless you let me do so, after all; I do have respect for my close friends and partners," he murmured, chuckling softly as Rōkai tilted her head into Lillian's hand, obviously liking the attention. "It did bite you and partially dislocate your arm and crack your shoulder... I healed it, though at the moment I'm a bit tired for some reason... not quite sure why," he said quietly. He blinked a couple of times, his vision blurring slightly as he pulled over a few blocks from Lillian's home, unaware that he was bleeding from the corner of his mouth and nose from the PCs' fighting him earlier. He also had a slight concussion from being slammed against a brick wall and air conditioning unit.

Lillian smiled as the fox tilted her head so that she could be rubbed on the head. "You're a sweet thing aren't you?" Lillian said as she rubbed the fox behind her ears. She then looked over to Adrian. 'I know, though I still feel bad about lying... And I can only imagine what Mom and Dad will say when they see me...' she gave in reply to Adrian. She noticed that there was a small trickle of blood coming from his mouth, as well as his nose and she was concerned about what had happened. though did not voice her thoughts right away. However, when the car was pulled over several blocks from her home she knew something was wrong and she unbelted her seat and moved to look Adrian over. "What happened...? You said that you were checking on Faith, though you look like you were smashed through a wall or something..." she said, not knowing that her words were nearly correct, though just a bit exaggerated. "Should I have my mother look you over or should I call Ivory, since she's in my recent calls...? I just want to make sure that you get the help that you need... And please don't be stubborn and say that you don't because I can tell that you do need help..." she said as she placed a hand on Adrian's cheek.

Adrian sighed softly. "Faith had gotten herself caught up on top of a fence probably two thirds of a mile away from your place. Building was six stories, so climbing it was a pain in the a** and it turned out that the PCs that had tracked her down were still there; a couple had taser rods and the others had high powered tranq pistols... I was able to take down all but three of them out quietly before one stumbled onto his buddies and I... rammed me a few times into an air conditioning unit before I returned the favor hard enough to bust his helmet and knock him out flat... took a taser jolt to the back, then a knee to the side of the head... pretty sure someone slammed my head a couple of times against a brick wall, but one guy was a little overzealous in trying to incapacitate me... tossed himself off the side of the building," he said quietly. He shrugged; he wasn't sure if Ivory was even awake at the moment, but somehow doubted it. He half closed his eyes, expanding his senses unconsciously and blinked, finding Ivory's mind, yet it felt like she was comatose... or in an extremely deep sleep. He retreated, deciding not to bother his godmother. "Might be better to get to the house, I think," he managed, unsure why he was feeling a strong urge to let his thoughts drift, unknowingly letting Lillian sense what he sensed in the process.

Lillian stayed silent as she listened to Adrian as he spoke and she took a moment before she even considered speaking. She took in everything and she wished that there could have been something she could have done, yet the thought of getting into a fight with anyone was just not on her list of things she really wanted to do. "You really probably should get checked out... I mean if your head was slammed against an air conditioning unit you may have a concussion... I really want you to get checked and I will respect if you don't want to go to the hospital. But at least have Mom check you..." she said as she heard him saying it'd probably be best if they went to the house. "I can drive us home if you're too tired or disoriented... I promise I'll be able to drive all right being hurt like I am." she said as she placed a tender kiss on Adrian's lips, before getting out of the car and telling him that he could just move over to the other seat without getting out while she moved around to the driver's side. She thought that she'd sensed something from Adrian, though she shrugged it off because all that she wanted was to get home and get something to eat, as well as have Adrian checked by her mother to see if he needed serious medical attention.

Adrian tilted his head as he slid carefully over to the passenger seat, feeling around the interior of his mouth and finding a loosened tooth that even as he focused on it shifted as a barely audible and slight crunch sounded as the tooth settled. "My thoughts exactly," he said with a faint smile as he waited for her to settle in the driver's seat. "Besides... considering I had no idea what I was doing... better safe than sorry," he sighed softly.

Lillian slid into the driver's seat and she looked over to Adrian as she heard him speaking. "Well, for someone who didn't know what he was doing you must have done a good job, either that or no one saw you." she said, half joking, trying to lightent the mood some, since she was scared that Adrian might be hurt badly and he just wasn't letting on to it. She put her seat belt on and she looked before pulling the car out onto the road and she got home within a few minutes and to her surprise there wasn't anyone waiting for her outside. "Here, I can help you get inside, though I don't really think that I'll be able to hold you up if you're on the side with my sore shoulder..." she said, her voice a bit low just in case there was anyone around because that was all that she needed for her father to find out she'd been hurt and have him try blaming it on Adrian. Walking to the other side of the car she opened the door and she offered to help Adrian, even though her shoulder was throbbing still. That worried her because if her shoulder was injured and there was no obvious reason why and she couldn't swim right then she'd be let from the swim team and she didn't want that. But more than the worry of being let go from the team was the thought of not being able to swim right again. That thought made her shudder and she really hoped that her shoulder would heal proberly, even though Adrian had said that he healed it.
