After some time climbing Tygress was growing annoyed. "I know I shouldn't be surprised, but doesn't it seem there's more stairs than there was mansion?"

Finally she called out to those further ahead. "Any one of you up there see anything other than more stairs??" .

Duo was more than a little relieved when the door finally opened and people could start going up. Hopefully, it would take them to Jirachi. Of course...that'd be great if the stairs looked like they had an END. He frowned and crossed his arms, looking to the Joltik settled on his shoulder, then to the others ahead of him. "Hey! Anyone see an end to these stairs?"

Anise heard a familiar voice and turned to look. "Hi, Alexa!" she said, waving to the other trainer. "Yeah, it just keeps going. It doesn't seem real, like we're stuck in a dream. Again." She mused that for a moment, then added, "Maybe we are? We never did figure out exactly where this mansion is."

Cygnus didn't have the best sense of how big the mansion was, having only explored a couple of rooms and not being able to simply look at the place, but this staircase was going on much farther than another floor up. Perhaps the building had some sort of tower.

He paused in his climb as another trainer addressed him. A female voice, he was pretty sure. "The others say this must lead to where Jirachi is," he answered. "But, knowing this place, it could be anything. Hopefully not more giant bug Pokemon." He laughed nervously.

"With than many steps, my dear little Eden's going to be walking on her own paws or in her pokeball," Tyg laughed. "Though I know what you mean, I want to get things back to normal whatever it takes."

Eden growled a little at the idea of going into a pokeball. She would sooner climb and proved it by asking to be put down and hopping along at her trainer's side.

Anise considered pinching herself, but decided not too. She'd already been hurt worse than that in this mansion, and she definitely felt that. "Well, if Jirachi created this place, which seems likely, then I imagine almost anything goes. Even if it is a dream, who's to say that whatever happens in this dream isn't real?"

Anise sighed as time stretched on, and so did the stairs. Her legs were starting to ache. She turned to the Swablu perched on her shoulder and asked, "Do you think you can fly ahead and get an idea how long these stairs go? I don't know how long we can keep going." Halcyon chirped and leaped off Anise's shoulder, flying up to scout ahead.

Cara nodded. "That's true." She then looked around and down at Dante. I think we need to scout ahead...see if this is a loop She thought to herself. Cara then bent down to her companion. "Hey Dante, you think you'd be willing to run ahead and check things out for us?" The Persian looked at Cara then 'up' the stairs and back at Cara and nodded. Cara grinned and gave him a kiss on his head. "Ok then buddy, be careful." Dante grinned, "Persian!" and sauntered off ahead of the group.
